- G'day friends,
Ooft, we made some big progress in this one! This property is a testament to what nature can do if allowed to. However, there's nothing a few days of hard yakka and sweat can't fix. We whipped this place back into better shape than it's ever been, and you'll be impressed with the results!
Part One: • NEGLECTED yard is now ... \

You have done a fantastic job. Thank you for your support.
❤ Моё восхищение отличной работой.
I have gardened for 50 years and totally agree with you about the weed matting/ fabric. It is worse than worthless. I worked in one public garden where there were 7 layers, with decayed mulch between them, and the garden was still full of weeds. It was such a chore to pull it all up! Cardboard is a much better alternative, since it simply decays over time. It is the mulch that controls weed growth, not the matting! I also love that you water the holes first before planting, too. So many landscapers skip that step, and then the plants don't survive! It is even more important in dry areas or periods of drought, to water the hole, so the water goes down deep and does not evaporate like top watering does!
I agree with your comment. I used weed cloth to control weeds and... they still grew through it. Not worth the money. 😊
I agree with you re the cardboard, newspaper can be used to if you don’t have cardboard.
Great job Guys!!
Cardboard is so good for a weed blocker. Next week is gonna be a hard clean up. Can't wait to see that.
I so agree you have to water before you plant. It makes a huge difference. I've never used the matting before planting but have considered it. That consideration is gone lol. Each part gets better than last and I can't wait to see the next ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

umm.. OH MY GOD! WHAT A JOB! Also, is no-one going to say anything about that gate repair?! THAT is what sets Shaun apart. No other lawn youtuber would have looked twice at that, let alone get their tools out and do something about it. That's what sets Shaun apart from the rest. He saw that his 'client' had a problem, and fixed it for her.
Great job on Part II! Part III looking very formidable though. Thought you entered Jurassic Park! 👍🦖👍 😮
This back lawn is a horror. Fixing the gate was so nice of you. Your work is amazing. ❤
Quick Cuts repairs as well 👍
@@DJDEB21 I second Quick Cuts. Him and Blade mate lawn care are the best garden/lawn channels on TH-cam imo.
Great job on part two. You always do such an amazing job.👍👍😊
For future reference when using cardboard as a weed block, if you wet the cardboard down before adding your mulch, the cardboard stays in place and the mulch sticks to it and doesn't slide off. And if you have enough cardboard, using three layers of it also makes for a longer lasting weed barrier.
We have done this for years, works very well
Good tip that I’ll prob use in future.. when I can afford to buy mulch and other garden/landscaping stuff. It’s taken me almost a year of weekends to get this new house property cut back and manageable after learning it wasn’t hardly maintained for last 10-15yrs
Worms love it too.
It figures that morning glories would be considered an invasive species in Australia while I struggle to get mine to grow and bloom in my shady yard in Texas. Nature has a curious sense of humor. Beautiful job, gentlemen. Love the agapanthus.
Does this work for blocking poison ivy in a garden?.
Sean, you and Tyler really changed this woman’s life for the better! Thanks for all you did!
Good to see you and Tyler working together again. You're the best
I agree. They make a great team!
Holy vines Batman! That part 3 is going to be a sight to see. I sense a huge transformation coming up. The driveway is so open now. You guys are doing an awesome job!
The invasive vine (we call it Morning Glory here in southern Alabama) will take over but it sure is pretty when it blooms. Love seeing you do the extra work to help the owner be safer. That’s so much appreciated by us older folks. Love seeing your kindness and understanding show up in your videos. In addition to your lawn care skills!
Up here in the Pacific NW we have wild Morning Glory with smaller white flowers. I call it Evil Weed because it infests my backyard and tries to choke my garden plants. It's the devil to get rid of!
I have had quite successful summers with Morning glory, grown in a big pot! You get the benefit of the lovely flowers, but easily contained and thrown into the green garbage bins at the end of summer.
I thought it looked like morning glory. I've never seen it so out of control. We always had it on a trellis, or fence...but under control 🙂
I pot my morning glory beautiful when they open up easily maintained
Here in Western Australia it’s called morning glory too 👍👍
It will be so much easier for the home owner now that it is all cleaned. Looking forward to part 3, that back yard looks massive and a lot of work to do. I'm glad you have help. Was also glad to hear that you decided not to pressure wash and conserve water. Great job.❤
This is a wonderful thing you both are doing for needy people. Thank you for your kindness.
Great job, boy that morning glory invasion is massive. Your client is going to benefit so much from the changes that will make her life easier and much safer! Kudos to you bothl
I accidentally planted one of those in Northern California. Even bought it from a plant nursery! Within a year it was pulling the wood siding off the garage and going under the roof shingles, caused huge damage. Took two years to kill it. Cane in a little 4 inch/ 10 cm pot! Terrible plant.
@@lauralake7430 I have a soft for them, such pretty little survivors. They need to be in the right place of course but lovely to disguise some fencing or similar if tamed back every season. 🥰
Well done Sean, we admire how you care for vulnerable folks in your area. Everything looks so dry. Here in Scotland we just had a storm, floods and people evacuated. Thank you for being so caring and kind 😊
I live in the hot dry dead desert of the SW United States; will you PLEASE send some of that water our way!
@@cdd4248 I wish I could
@cdd4248 it would be so nice if it could work that way! I live in BC Canada, we just had the hottest, driest summer on record for our area. The wild fires were terrible!
@brendapatterson7123 I saw the fires, it was terrible. Here in Scotland we long for some sunny days
What a great and wonderful job. Well done.
Amazing transformation, that stuff was tinder dry and only needed a spark for a tragedy to happen. Fixing the gate so the homeowner can park behind the gate was next level. Love ❤ your work. 🎉
I love the way bagging yards looks but damn if it isn't a chore dumping and I just use them at work for leaves. You guys do immaculate work and it is always a joy to watch the journey and see the payoff! Thanks for all you do for others!
Awesome transformation! Part 3 is gonna be something else!!! ❤
What a wonderful job. I'm so glad you planted fresh greenery for her. Thanks!!!
That was an awesome transformation! So neat, clean, and so much safer. The homeowner must be so happy! You andTyler work well together. I love seeing the concrete emerge from all the overgrowth. It gives an idea of what the property looked like when it was new. Also, you have my appreciation for fixing the gate. Pretty or not, it works now, and that is huge! Looking forward to the jungle that is Part 3! I just know it will be awesome! ❤️
Looking forward to seeing part 2. See you later Sean and Tyler. Nice way to round off the weekend 😀👍😀👍
As usual you rocked it!!!! Part 3 looks SCARY😳
I don’t know the word for just how happy and relieved this homeowner must feel. Incredible, fantastic work! 💚
And fixing the gate ♥️
This yard just keeps providing content. Bless you a thousand times over for helping rescue this property!
You are just a sweetheart…….
What a job WOW
That was simply awesome Sean and Tyler. The matted grass and overgrown ivy looked particularly challenging. Many thanks for sharing with us. That’s rounded off the weekend nicely. I’m sure your client is delighted with the results so far. Love it 👍💎👍💎👍
1:55 pm on Sunday in Virginia. Waiting for second half of video. Im amazed the progress youve already made here.😊 I bet your very proud of the efforts!🎉🎉😊
OMG!!! When I saw the rest of the yard I thought y’all could use some prayers! You have more stamina than most people to tackle such a mess. I know it will be perfectly lovely when you are done. Thank you and Tyler for all that you do for people. God bless y’all!!😊❤
This is like watching a mini series on the television. I can't wait for part 3. What a mess that looks like. I really wish you could pressure wash it, maybe come back during the rainy season? You guys make it look so easy but I know it's not. Thank you for your big ❤.
Wow you guys did a splendid job of cleaning up, planting and mulching! Looks nice! Part 3 looks like it is going to be a big transformation too! Thanks so much for helping this lady out. You even did repairs on the gate! Awesome!
Very impressive gate repair 😊 So good to see Tyler back again😎. And so much hidden patio, again😂. Love when you do these archaeological works😊 can’t wait for part 3👍😁
You've done it again! Made the yard tidy and usable for a deserving person. Part 3 will be a challenge.
Sean, you and Tyler did a fantastic job on Part Two of this property! It looks great! 🎉
Agapanthus is my favorite plant❤❤❤ Holy cow...the worst is yet to come😮 Great job you two. Looks so lovely 😊
My mother threatened to name the baby she was carrying at the time after that flower if it was ANOTHER girl. My brother is a lucky guy!! LOL (still can't spelling. Hahahaha)
@@swearenginlawanda ohhh...that's funny 😄😁
Happy to see your subscriber list growing, you deserve it 😊🥰 It's a miracle the air conditioner worked at all with the weeds all over it. Greeting from Western Massachusetts, USA -7:18 I have an old hand truck like that, a friend gave it to me years ago and I still use it 🙂
Your clients are so lucky that you take the time to care for them and make sure that everything you do for them is for their well being. Safety and functionality always at the front of your mind for them.
Super work guys! The homeowner must be so pleased! 💚💚 Cant wait for next week!
I wish there was a lawn care company that was in Arkansas around Pearcy that could help me with my well overgrown lawn and help me get rid of a lot of trash.
Sean might know of one. There are several in the Southern US
Get rid of your own trash, safely and legally. You made it, you take responsibility for it. Too many Americans are filthy, lazy slobs.
Juggernaut and Cabin on the Hill use to work in Arkansas area 🤷🏼♀️
Вы оказываете не просто формальную помощь, а всем сердцем и с добротой и к людям и к животным👍👍👍👍
Sean you guys went over and beyond on this yard, I love how you do the little things like fixing the gate and removing the weeds from the planters, that's what sets you apart from other lawn guys. I'm so happy for this woman getting yard back where she can enjoy it again. Thank you two for all your hard work and compassion to helping those in need 😊.
Looks great and I'll bet the owner is so very happy to see the increasing improvements. You do have your work cut out for you in that back yard. Morning Glory is a terror once it gets a foot hold. Hard to kill and it's a matter of who is more stubborn, you or it. Good luck and bless you for all you do to help those in need.
You two make a great team. What a job. That backyard looks like it could take a week all by itself! I hope you reward yourselves for a job well done.
Omg, that turned out so beautiful, I almost puddled up and cried. Love, love the gate fix. And I love watching your mate (sorry, pulling a blank on his name) working the garden areas. He's a natural. Now, I really can't wait for Part 3!!!
Wow, you two did a phenomenal job of cleanup. Then you even fixed the gate! Love your videos because you always go above and beyond with fixing things. Part 3 is going to be crazy. Can't wait for that one. I can see at one time she had a beautiful yard. So heartbreaking when one can no longer maintain it. Bless you two for all you do.
Sean that was a lot of work for such a small space. But, it was tidally dealt with at the end of today’s vid. Then, you showed what part 3 will tackle and OMG! What a killer! You and your friends work so hard and are so dedicated to helping others. I can’t wait to see part 3 and the final transformation. Oh, and always, the best to your family! Hope they are well.
Hello from South Texas near Corpus Christi

Watching the two of you work is like watching a military operation. The main objective is get the job done. No retreat, no surrender. Failure is not an option. Well done guys. Well done
I can't imagine how relieved this owner must feel, now that she has her yard back. You both did a wonderful job! GM
Shocked at the absolute fire hazard your client was surrounded by. Great job to you both. Makes me appreciate my neighbors even more, I know they'd volunteer helping before overgrowth occurs
Shawn i love your TH-cam channel videos.
thanks mate, great to hear!

The dynamic duo. She will be so thrilled she can walk around her house and feel safe. Awesome job guys. Can;t wait to see the back.🥳
Such a marvelous transformation!!! And you are both going above and beyond by fixing her gate and planting better plants for her needs. 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Going to try to get up early to watch this 👍
The hose! Great job Sean and Tyler!
😵💫 part 3 is looking a ridiculously hard job! I hope you and Tyler make it through unscathed! Sending you strength and resilience! What a lucky lady to have you two on her team! I love what you do for others! The best ever garden heroes! 🌻👍🏻❤️
What a wonderful transformation. Good work, both of you.❤
You’re just the man she needed desperately. You always go above and beyond to help. Thank you for all you do. Everything looks great.
THANK YOU FOR PART TWO 🙏
EVEN MORE AMAZING TRANSFORMATIONS 👍

You, Sean and Tyler did a great job.
Actually like you two working together, very much ❤
Just an EXCELLENT JIB ALL AROUND!! GOD, that vine is just CRAZY!! Where ever there's a opening or not it's there! Round three is going to something. I say, GOOD LUCK, then in the other hand you NEVER disappoint and you will get it done and we'll all be amazed! Still part 2, was something also. Love that you guys put nice plants that the person can keep up. Good on you both! 💯😎👍
Hi Sean! Hey All! Y'all forgot to like the video people! 😊
Que perfeição de trabalho e que magnífica transformação. Linda atitude de vcs por ajudar quem realmente precisa. Aguardando ansiosamente a terceira parte pelo que vi será a pior. Amo o canal 🥰😍😘
Great job Sean! There is only one proper way to control weeds and thats regular weeding! But for someone who is unable to do that cardboard and mulch is a good option. I guess it will need replenishing every now and again. Great idea to plant low maintenance plants. This is going to be one of your very best transformations I think!
Love that you have gone the extra mile with replanting to fixing her gate it’s a little thing but it makes a huge difference in her life, your simple amazing both of you
OMG!!! Part three is going to be a doozie, good luck Sean, I think you might need it. That vine is just like ivy, it's invasive and destructive, fantastic job so far, can't wait to see part three. ❤😊
Hello Sean !
Hello there
I love the way YT channels make their content unique even if they might do the same types of things. I love your videos Sean because of the music you include. I didn’t pay any attention to whose video I started but as soon as I heard the music I immediately knew it was you Sean and smiled.
I appreciate that!
What a wonderful gift you have given the owner. I have never seen such large clumps of grasses picked up as a unit. This is my first time to watch your videos, but I will be back. I am just a little sorry to see flowers removed. But overall it’s a big wow!😮
What an awesome job guys! From one gardening business to another!
All I can say again after part 2 is WOW 😮 Part 3 looks like it's going to be the worse part Sean. Can't wait to see it. Amazing job guys!!!. Hats 🎩 off to you both.
WOW!!!!!! That was a great clean-up of the driveway/side yard. Thank you and Tyler for putting in the low-maintenance plants. The backyard will be a dream to see after all of your hard work.
Sure was EXTRA nice of you to fix the gate and put new plants in the garden area on top of the fabulous job you did on this property!!!- 😮 it looks awesome !- bless you both.
What a transformation! And what power nature gets when human lets it grow (for whatever reasons). Always sad to see such gardens and imagining the huge challenges of a life not be able anymore to take care of it - and no-one there (in the past) to help. BUT THANK YOU FOR YOUR HELP!!!
I guess you should also have removed the flower pots - or will that person living there at least take care of those or plant something in there?
Kind greetings from the "other side" of this planet - Vienna, Austria ... sometimes confused with Australia, but, no, we don't have kangaroos (except in zoo ... unfortunately not living free ...)
Another Fantastic transformation Sean/Tyler 👍🏆♥️ I can't wait for part 3 👍
The two of you work together very well. Both giving people and you go the extra mile to make sure things are good for those you do the work for. Free or not. I really admire that in both of you!! Great cleanup!!
I love your videos by the way.
Absolutely beautiful work! ❤
I’ve never seen like it: how people let THIS happen to their yard! What an amazing job you’ve done guys!!! 👍👏🏻
Hello Tyler and thanks for coming back to help Sean. Those invasive vines are Morning Glories and are very pretty when they're all in bloom but they have to be controlled or else they explode and seeds grow fast!
This was a huge challenge, you and Tyler worked well together. Such a pity it’s in the state it was, thank you for bringing it back to life, regards from Geelong, Victoria😊😊
Sean, you had your work cut out for you!
Labour Day here in New Zealand, and a super satisfying video from Super Sean to watch and admire. What could be better! You guys did a terrific job. Agapanthus is not favoured here but it's tough, has nice flowers, evergreen leaves and will thicken up and prevent any weeds growing in that side bed, so good on you!! You two have made such a difference and I know you will have positively impacted that lady's life. Good call not waterblasting the drive and saving water! I really like your conservationist thinking and along with that your kindness to the lizards and skinks you come across. Fantastic!! Can't wait to see you tackle the backyard!!!
This lady isn’t going to recognise her garden when you and Taylor have finished with it. Once again it’s been a pleasure to watch you change another persons life. Well done mate 🤙😎
Please tell me what those vines are...SHE NEEDS POWER WASHING...HINT-HINT-HINT..... it reminds me of Kudzo (sp?) Who would chemically spray this area... angry neighbors?? That takes nerve to do such a act.... so neighbors hadnt called the council...yet some one sprayed area.... that burns my britches, Id be flipping going postal on them. No regard for approval or consent. You both are working so hard.... years of growth.
My guess is that they are a type of morning glory. There are annual and perennial varieties of morning glory and BOTH can be a huge problem since they are prolific seeders. The seed bank in the soil there must be full of seeds, so this yard will need attention on a regular basis to control them.
Fabulous. I can’t wait for part three. This homeowner must be over the moon already.
Wow such a dramatic difference ! Well done to both of you !
The vines are called Morning Glory and really quite lovely when kept in check.
Growing up we had a whole fence covered in morning glories, they brought hummingbirds and i would just sit and watch them come and go along with dragonflies and mantises. But here’s a bit much 😂. Can’t wait for part 3 🎉🎉🎉
Another phase of the yard do-over. You guys are giving the ole gal another chance at enjoying her home and outdoor areas. Looking forward tot he next installment of the improvement.
WOW!! That is the most magnificent transformation I have seen yet. You guys are the best. You even take the stuff and throw it away for the customer. A lot of landscapers throw back in somewhere in the backyard. And thank you fir fixing the gate. Most don't bother with it. What a thorough job you guys have done. God bless you.
So enjoyed watching you transform this garden so far
I will be tuned in next week to watch the next instalment
Well done Sean
What an amazing job. The owner has to be so relieved. I was happy to see you planting some more appropriate plants for her to enjoy. Thanks for all you do
Love your work!!! And helping with the gate!! That will make such a difference to her life and is something that is very hard for many of us women (not all!), even when we're not unwell, fixing things. And it looked so easy for you both to do together. Thank goodness for people like you!!!!! Lost of love from here, Aotearoa.
I know those vines all too well: ah, morning glory, how I (don't!) miss your insidious propagation and caustic, reeking sap Well and satisfyingly done as ever, both of you. Pity about taking out the geraniums, but if their successors are easier for the client to keep up with, that's what matters. The gate repair, too... now that I'm older and disabled (Parkinson's Disease), I can appreciate how even something as simple as opening / closing a door or gate can be laborious if they're not maintained.
Great job men, thanks for the service to your community!
❤ Wow that's awesome love the two of you guys are working together. I'm impressed with the job and the way you get the job done! Thanks for letting us enjoy the process 😁
I live in Georgia in the United States. I love your channel. I've watched every episode since I found your channel. I get into the small details that would make the mowing itself be unfinished. Keep posting. Awesome 👍
I have to admit that you are setting the standard for what is considered excellent work and excellent attention to detail as well! You should have over a million subscribers with how great you are as well as your personality! Unfortunately I now look at some of the biggest TH-camr lawn accounts and I can barely watch them anymore because their finished lawns look like crap because they don’t pick up any of the clippings or dirt! Keep up the Great work We all appreciate you!!
Such a thorough job you do. No slash, blow and run here! A fantastic job, and she’ll have a proper garden again.
На словах о бережном отношении к воде, я прослезилась. Вы со своим другом просто ЛЮДИ с большой буквы.
I enjoyed every minute watching you 2 work...She is getting her outside back...Thanks to you 2
Holy moly Sean that backyard is 😳😬😳
Lucky you and Tyler work very well together 🥰
I have no doubt that part 3 is going to top parts 1 and 2!!!
The lady will be sooo grateful, I'm sure!
Excellent job so far mates! 🥰
