In a world gone mad, cannot tell good guys from bad, up from down, food - gas -electric prices rising to the moon. I get to watch you trim and tame weeds and grass and it is soothing and more pleasing than psychiatrists and their drugs. Thank you Tim for giving normality in a time of insanity.

Nice work Tim. I’ve always wondered why they leave construction sites so messy. A quick 15 minutes before knockoff to pick up trash and stack stuff would make things so much easier for everyone. Thanks for posting.

Builders are terrible at lawn and tree work. They don't seem to think it matters to have the best trailer with 100 hedge trimmers and chainsaws mounted on it so they can carry out some seroius hacking with ease.

Tim your work is outstanding! I learned from you so much! The fact that you show it step-by-step helps to understand how do I need to take care of things. What helps me a lot is the different equipment that you are using at the same area. That what’s so unique about your video!! I don’t know how many women fallow you , I just hope I’m not the only women with the silly questions. I need to buy the book garden for dummy. Thanks again . Have a wonderful day.

I like your videos and editing. I like that you clear the fences of whatever doesn't belong there. A joy to watch. I'm not a vindictive person but would have put all the loose trash and other stuff you uncovered onto the house floor. Just in case the builders wanted to keep it. 😁😁😁

It is nice to be able to watch you guys from "down under" working. It helps me get my "fix", since we aren't quite in the growing season yet, here in the states. I've been able to get a couple of recordings up, but it has gotten cold here again.

Good job Tim, looks a lot better than it did, it's a shame that the builders didn't at least get the roof and siding completed but I've seen worse failures in the new building trade, I personally wouldn't buy that structure knowing that the exterior walls had been left out in the weather for who knows how long, or even why they didn't complete the house, but that's just me and my opinion

Timber is still blue and green the frame hasn’t been sitting there long once it turned grey and starts growing mould is when you might want to start worrying but even then that can still be fixed with mould treatment and go around checking the timber to see if has started rotting

Even more shocking is that they have those few windows already on the site. Way too early for any of those. Very poor quality contractor to have left debris scattered. Should have at least stacked miscellaneous materials before leaving each day. I would never hire such.

  • @robertshrewsbury9344

The stickery weeds you managed to cut down, I would have considered bagging. The reason, is in college they explained a weed cut down will drop its seeds soon after. Those stickery plants look to have seed pods on them, and so involuntary resowing would be likely. Nice work on cleaning up and renewing the potential for owners to be able to work on the construction. Appreciate the "polish" work of blowing off at the end, it probably helped the neighborhood and showed you'd refound a sidewalk as well.

This brings back memories of the time my mum and dad and I were cutting back our yard after cyclone season. Mum was harnessed to her brush cutter and disturbed a taipan, which tried to slither up the handle. So she was running backwards up the hill trying to shake off the taipan and my dad and I had to chase her to unharness her. The taipan fortunately fell off and slithered away unharmed and mum was unbitten. We called it for the day there for the sake of mum's nerves. A shower and a glass of wine went a long way to helping though. You're doing a tough job really well and I hope you don't encounter too many snakes!

I’ve got a couple of varieties of weeds growing in my back field that have super thick woody stems like that. Here in central Texas they’re called Pigweed and Bloodweed. I’m absolutely going to get one of those attachments. Eve the thickest strings can’t get them and tackling them with a mower is awful if they haven’t been broken down first. Thanks for the demo. It’s the convincing I needed to try this out.

Tim, that was badass attachment you had on your big trimmer with those blades! It really kicked some serious butt, but I started thinking about something along that line several years ago with small 1/8 in. pieces of cable about 4" inches thick, and what I did was I took some small eyehole heads, like foe electrical wiring, and I attached them to one end of each piece of cable, and crimped them down around the end of the little strip of cable, and then I attached then to an old trimmer head using some self-tapping screws!
It worked out great, and saved me a bunch on trimmer line!
    You might try it!
Also I wanted to say, you are like the Picasso of lawns!
You can start out with something out of a sci-fi movie, and when you get done, it's ready to show in the next issue of Home & Garden Magazine!
    Seriously!
But I'd never do a yard for free, but I'm not you, and I can see why you do it, because it's like you're advertising your work, and showing any perspective customers how good a job they can expect from you!
Well done! Take care, and stay safe, and keep an eye out for snakes, and spiders, and lions, and tigers, and bears, oh my!...🐍🕷🦁🐯🐻😱😅😂🤣👍

I see snake covers/gators... your brave to just WALK ABOUT.... INTO THAT MESS! This is a typical neighborhood build lot? Land must be at a serious premium to build so close to one another. I'm still so amazed by your country's lush growth on grass these builders plant..... I just want to throw in sheep and goats to consume that absolutely gorgeous grass, I know, I know I'm crazy! As a business, how do you charge for this clearing.... hourly rate or complexity of job on a site? How often does a building site like THIS... require a TIDY up? After you whip snip/ buzz cut.... the area looks huge!!!! Well done
