Asylum117 earth’s mightiest heroes wasn’t made by Disney before Disney acquired marvel. So they weren’t allowed to create more episodes for earth’s mightiest heroes, therefore they had to reboot it

Disney can do better than that, they just choose to be lazy. Alex Hirsch's Gravity Falls & Greg Wiesman's Gargoyles show what Disney is capable of in the animation department. Selling toys is great, but they need someone like Greg or Alex to make anothee marvel show that appeals to both young & older viewers alike.

@@MrSafior In order to uphold a cartoon on Disney you must get over 100 million viewers a month. If not your show would drop to Disney XD and EMH got a little under 18 million. Meaning it was SEVERELY low on money and viewers. But when avengers assmble came out it was getting just below 90 million viewers a month. Why is this important you ask? Disney would have started to lose money.

During season 4, all the OG team was sent to different dimensions. Falcon ended in the future I believe with Kang the Conqueror and was helping him prevent the end of the world. By the time the new avengers found him, a few years has already passed for Sam hence why he’s older
The continuity of the Marvel cartoons is horrible tbh. I mean, first Avengers Assemble is in the same place as Ultimate spiderman, but then it's also in the same universe as the new Spiderman show
That's what happens when you have careless and greedy executives running the show, who only care about toy sales and not about actual stories because they think children are idiots who accept anything put in front of them.
The biggest flaw that lead to the downfall was the over reliance on replicating the MCU. It never had a proper plan throughout multiple seasons, because it just kept taking cues from the newest movie the MCU did (which never lined up with whatever was previously setup in Assembled). This was symbolically represented in the first episode when the mansion from EMH was destroyed so the Avengers could move into Stark/Avengers Tower. This show was a weird pseudo sequel to EMH, and destroying that mansion was pretty much the entire basis of the show. Throwing out what's been previously done/original ideas in favour of making it look more like the MCU for marketing and toy sales
not to mention completely replacing the designs of the Guardians of the Galaxy. season 1, they look like the comics. in season 2, they look like the MCU did no one think this through?!

The war ends about mid to late 1940's, and in that time Cap goes from a USO showman/movie actor, to a military powehouse that pushes Hydra to it's limit. My most conservative estimate is 1943-1945.

I think it really declined at the start of Season 3. Remember how Arsenal flew into the sun to stop Ultron for good? Well, that was meaningless. It was a real middle finger from Ultron's return. I actually was okay with Arsenal.
Thats what makes it good. Think of it this way. Sometimes things don't always pan out the way you hope and even when you think you made the right call it turns out it was all for nothing. Sacrifices like this that turn out being all for nothing is what show how high the stakes are.
Clark Strange It's not just an opinion but just straightly what it is. I love EMH and Spectacular Spider man and some other Marvel Animated series but that's pretty much it. There's no denying that there are just a few Marvel animated movies and shows that can live up and maintain it's quality overall. While DCAU had kept it's pace pretty well. Look at Batman Mask of the Phantasm. Such an old movie but still a classic and considered one of the best Batman Animated movie there is from the Quality, Story , Voice acting, etc. Until now they're keep on creating shows that are good and somehow acceptable not like Assemble here which is definitely a goddamn mess. DCAU is just good at creating their craft, too bad they cant do it that well with live action. This aint just opinion.
X-men is my favorite Animated series, but if there is one field DC is superior in its animation. Harley Quinn, Young Justice, Teen Titans, Batman:TAS, JL, JLU, Superman:TAS, Batman Beyond, Static Shock, Return of the Joker, The Dark Knight returns, Green Lantern: first flight, Mask of the Phantasm, a crisis on 2 earths, Doom, the Final frontier, Assault on Arkham, and I could go on.

All I remember is being SO pissed off when they cancelled "Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes" to give us this sub-par replacement, simply because it was more similar to the movies. A:EMH actually blended in decades old storylines (The Kree/Skrull war), with modern ones (Secret Invasion) quite nicely.
What cant you people understand? THE SHOW GOT CANCELED BECAUSE THEY WERE NOT GETTING ENOUGH MONEY AND VIEWERS. That means people were not watching it and if they kept it running they would lose money. Maybe if you people you know WATCHED THE SHOW it would have stayed running for another 2-3 years.
I actually failed to get beyond episode 2 of season 5, and I was already forcing myself through the entire show, but the sudden change of design was the right blow to drop the show for good
I actually really enjoyed Seasons 3 and 4, and the first two seasons were... Ok? Season 5 is just low-key trash, and not because of the focus on Black Panther, but because of the new art style. I do love the episode of T'Chaka teaming up with Steve and Peggy Carter, and Peggy Carter temporarily becomes a robot to fight Arnim Zola.
Yeah 3-4 were Great. The only real issue is that because it's a Children's cartoon you Know Nobody is going to actually die, And you know Villians will Stop their attack anytime their winning so the heroes can win. But they did the best with what they were allowed to do.
Oh god what did they do to Captain America in Season 5?! It looked like he reverted the super soldier serum . Also, yeah when they bring Ultron into the show it's all messed up from there. The robot had potential, but they messed it up by having Ultron just exist around the project arsenal arc.
Avengers Assemble started strong and got worse over time, while Ultimate Spider-Man started mediocre and got way better over time... Avengers Assemble changed character design to fit the MCU then changed it again to make it simpler, while at the same time, animation drops in quality. Ultimate Spider-Man changed its character designs a TINY bit the first time (Peters face most importantly, I hated his blob chin that magically got thinner when he put the mask on, but they fixed it in the later seasons to have a better face in general) then by the time they changed Ultimate Spider-Man’s design to more simple, nope, new crappy tv show. I know This is an avengers assemble video, but I really miss ultimate Spider-Man, I’m currently rewatching it

For SSM, Sony didn't want to buy back the rights for the TV Shows, something to do with them not really seeing the profit from SSM, so they sold those rights it to Disney. Who then made Ultimate Spider-Man, because SSM was made from Sony's animation team. For Avengers, it was a case of no one was watching Earths Mightiest at the time. So Disney decided to rebrand with the more MCU styled Avengers Assemble.
EMH didnt get enough money/viewers to keep going people are so self engaged that they dont realize Disney would lose money if they kept that show. People say it's all about money because it is if they didn't want money they would not put this show out. Maybe you should of watched the show then they wouldn't of shut it down you can still rent episodes.
Well, MARVEL’s Spider-Man actually has a storyline and had a likable first impression with its first season and then the third season is doing pretty well as well. Avengers Assemble had a decent three seasons until it fell under the rug. Ultimate Spider-Man was severely pandered to kids, so a lot of the viewers were children. So, it did really well because of that. However, it began to get less views and was then replaced with MARVEL’s Spider-Man after three (or so) seasons. While AEMH was replaced with a show more aligned with the movies. Spectacular Spider-Man was dropped after its second season not doing well financially, hence came Ultimate Spider-Man, then the much more successful MARVEL’s Spider-Man.

This is why SYNERGY is often bad than good. Also comics being in synergy with MCU isn't always a good idea. May I remind you all of Carol being relaunched even more than ASM? Or about Civil War II which was forced as hell because of CA: TCW?
I was in love with the show for seasons 1 and 2, it got a little weird at 3, I forced myself to watch 4, and i watched the first episode of 5 and was like, "im outta here!"
I liked avengers assembled the only thing that was wrong with the ultrin arc is the non existant build up of stakes ( they all say "ultron is going to do x and y will happen" but since they never lose ultron and thanos end up looking like the standard villan of the week (I think out of all five seasons only night hawk and red skull manage to pull one over the avengers which really makes for bad stakes)
And are we not gonna talk about how the universe apparently changed too? I mean the first few seasons were taking place in the same universe as Ultimate Spider-man, But around season 4 or 5 Spidey was now the reboot Spidey They can't even keep their continuity in place....

Cap probably knew Peggy for a lot longer than a week back during WW2. But you also need to consider that he also would visit her very often even in present day, as shown in winter soldier and civil war. Good video tho
Avengers Assemble and Ultimate Spider-Man: Mediocre, meh, I don't hate it, I just don't care for it. Avengers Earth's Mightiest Heroes and Spectacular Spider-Man: Perfection, WHY CANCEL IT, some of the best Marvel shows of all time.
The main problem with being tethered to the movies is the fact that you can’t make any large moves or use major players because the movies could contradict EVERYTHING that you’ve established. Also let’s add to the fact that you have to force synergy by using characters from the movies even if they don’t make sense (Ultron). They should do what GOOD adaptations do and take a little from the movies, a little from the comics, and then a dash of originality.
My problem with this show is the same problem I had with Ultimate Spiderman, too much comedy, the formula is too episodic, in contrast to EMH and Spectacular where there were story arcs and continous developments. If you like this show that's on you but you cannot deny there are plenty of reasons why people hate it
Thanos using one stone at a time was a reference to Mephisto tricking Thanos into doing the same thing to impress the Embodiment of Death. He beat the heroes, but he never got the girl.
The problem there is that while the show did the same thing, they removed the *explanation* for this action. Which has the consequence of making Thanos look like he's suddenly holding the Idiot Ball because otherwise, the Avengers would just be dead. They really did Thanos dirty on this show.

I gave up on the series some time after Ultron and before secret wars. I gave up on Marvel animation completely when an entire episode of Spiderman was motivated by wanting to buy a burrito and that as all they did the whole episode. Marvel post Disney was often too silly and too playing it safe. No lives got lost no romances happened every ending was a happy ending. unlike in the FOX days when drama was all over the place.

The problem for me was even when the show first started it was already a step down from EMH. It was catered for a younger audience much like its Spiderman counterpart instead of appealing to a wider range of fans its predecessors achieved. I tried to stick with it but found it hard to sit through too many episodes so I abandoned ship long before u did.
My opinions on Avengers Assemble align with that “Trash Baby” comment. I think the show is heavily flawed, but I still love it. I’ve seen every season and in my opinion, the one thing that would’ve really helped the show (other than better writing) would be less MCU pandering. Things in AA regularly get changed/added to include things from the Avengers movies (I’m presuming due to the decisions of some exec in marketing). However, there’s rarely any setup for these changes, so they felt jarring. Especially since the AA universe and MCU aren’t even connected and follow entirely separate storylines. For example, the change they made to Falcon mentioned at (5:35) felt so bizarre because AA Sam and Movie Sam are very different in their characterization. I just think that if Avengers Assemble had been allowed to be its own thing, similar to Earth’s Mightiest Heroes it could’ve become something great.
Endgame spoilers So Iron Man wrestles with Thanos for a second, and Thanos easily knocks him away. Thanos says “I am inevitable” and snaps his fingers, only to realize nothing happened. Tony lifts his hand, which now has all the infinity stones, and replies “and I... am... Ultron.” He then turns into Ultron. Then he snaps his fingers and all the life in the universe is replaced with machines. Now the robot Avengers have to stop Ultron.

Avengers Earth's Mightiest Heroes was going to be the greatest superhero show if it would've gotten a 3rd and 4th season they were going to do what the greatest superhero show Justice League Unlimited did and that was introduce their universe of characters known and hardly known with the already amazing story telling of seasons one and two.
I personally feel like Season 5 is the start of a new continuity since the Secret Wars happened. This new continuity seems to be: Guardians of the Galaxy Season 3 (Seasons 1 & 2 can be included too since they reference previous Seasons, but the first 2 were technically past continuity) Marvel's Spider-Man and Avengers Assemble Season 5 I personally really liked Season 5, and think it has a neat Art Style. I mean, I agree, it's a little jarring to jump from Seasons 4 to 5, but if you think of it as a different show, it's really unique, and something I just really find appealing for some reason. Maybe it's because the current show (shows, since Marvel's Spider-Man feels the same way) feels like if The CW made a Superhero show, and I do love my Superhero Soapoperas.

the film actually started in 42. He spent a few months in training so even though he met her in 42 he really didn't know her until 43. Where he spent that year being a show monkey until the end of 43 maybe 44. He then spent the next year fighting on the front lines. So he really only got to know her for 1 year even though he's probably been infatuated with her for 3 years

I know it may seem like a cop out, but I thought they banked on Avengers Assemble being a soft reboot of EMH, like you were supposed to assume things that existed there also exist here and that’s why they didn’t have to introduce Ultron. Maybe that’s where my head was at but I liked the Arsenal turn to Ultron. The issue with the movie for me was they were very clear they didn’t let Ultron escape and the reason Ultron is scary is because he can just pop up anywhere at almost anytime. I do agree if you have no idea who he is, it seems out of left field, but they are banking that most people are aware of Ultron. The pilot does set up a world where the avengers worked together for a while and then broke up. With that in mind, I would assume most people would expect less explanation before every bad guy showing up, but it does require you to have paid attention to the intro of the pilot.
I miss the days when cartoons based off comic books did their own thing. Now every cartoon has to be a slave to the mcu. Sometimes I wish Disney didn’t take over Marvel. I like the MCU movies, but I’m not crazy about them either.

Actually Steve meets Peggy in 1943 and goes in the ice in 1945. The movie makes it pretty clear that it takes place over several years.

During season 4, all the OG team was sent to different dimensions. Falcon ended in the future I believe with Kang the Conqueror and was helping him prevent the end of the world. By the time the new avengers found him, a few years has already passed for Sam hence why he’s older

The biggest flaw that lead to the downfall was the over reliance on replicating the MCU. It never had a proper plan throughout multiple seasons, because it just kept taking cues from the newest movie the MCU did (which never lined up with whatever was previously setup in Assembled).
This was symbolically represented in the first episode when the mansion from EMH was destroyed so the Avengers could move into Stark/Avengers Tower. This show was a weird pseudo sequel to EMH, and destroying that mansion was pretty much the entire basis of the show. Throwing out what's been previously done/original ideas in favour of making it look more like the MCU for marketing and toy sales
not to mention completely replacing the designs of the Guardians of the Galaxy.

The war ends about mid to late 1940's, and in that time Cap goes from a USO showman/movie actor, to a military powehouse that pushes Hydra to it's limit.

There's no denying that there are just a few Marvel animated movies and shows that can live up and maintain it's quality overall.

Such an old movie but still a classic and considered one of the best Batman Animated movie there is from the Quality, Story , Voice acting, etc.

All I remember is being SO pissed off when they cancelled "Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes" to give us this sub-par replacement, simply because it was more similar to the movies. What cant you people understand? THE SHOW GOT CANCELED BECAUSE THEY WERE NOT GETTING ENOUGH MONEY AND VIEWERS. That means people were not watching it and if they kept it running they would lose money. Maybe if you people you know WATCHED THE SHOW it would have stayed running for another 2-3 years.

I actually really enjoyed Seasons 3 and 4, and the first two seasons were... Ok? Season 5 is just low-key trash, and not because of the focus on Black Panther, but because of the new art style. I do love the episode of T'Chaka teaming up with Steve and Peggy Carter, and Peggy Carter temporarily becomes a robot to fight Arnim Zola.

Avengers Assemble started strong and got worse over time, while Ultimate Spider-Man started mediocre and got way better over time...
Avengers Assemble changed character design to fit the MCU then changed it again to make it simpler, while at the same time, animation drops in quality. Ultimate Spider-Man changed its character designs a TINY bit the first time (Peters face most importantly, I hated his blob chin that magically got thinner when he put the mask on, but they fixed it in the later seasons to have a better face in general) then by the time they changed Ultimate Spider-Man’s design to more simple, nope, new crappy tv show.

For SSM, Sony didn't want to buy back the rights for the TV Shows, something to do with them not really seeing the profit from SSM, so they sold those rights it to Disney. Who then made Ultimate Spider-Man, because SSM was made from Sony's animation team.
For Avengers, it was a case of no one was watching Earths Mightiest at the time. So Disney decided to rebrand with the more MCU styled Avengers Assemble.
EMH didnt get enough money/viewers to keep going people are so self engaged that they dont realize Disney would lose money if they kept that show. People say it's all about money because it is if they didn't want money they would not put this show out. Maybe you should of watched the show then they wouldn't of shut it down you can still rent episodes.

Well, MARVEL’s Spider-Man actually has a storyline and had a likable first impression with its first season and then the third season is doing pretty well as well. Avengers Assemble had a decent three seasons until it fell under the rug.
Ultimate Spider-Man was severely pandered to kids, so a lot of the viewers were children. So, it did really well because of that. However, it began to get less views and was then replaced with MARVEL’s Spider-Man after three (or so) seasons.
While AEMH was replaced with a show more aligned with the movies. Spectacular Spider-Man was dropped after its second season not doing well financially, hence came Ultimate Spider-Man, then the much more successful MARVEL’s Spider-Man.

I liked avengers assembled the only thing that was wrong with the ultrin arc is the non existant build up of stakes ( they all say "ultron is going to do x and y will happen" but since they never lose ultron and thanos end up looking like the standard villan of the week (I think out of all five seasons only night hawk and red skull manage to pull one over the avengers which really makes for bad stakes)

The main problem with being tethered to the movies is the fact that you can’t make any large moves or use major players because the movies could contradict EVERYTHING that you’ve established. Also let’s add to the fact that you have to force synergy by using characters from the movies even if they don’t make sense (Ultron). They should do what GOOD adaptations do and take a little from the movies, a little from the comics, and then a dash of originality.

My problem with this show is the same problem I had with Ultimate Spiderman, too much comedy, the formula is too episodic, in contrast to EMH and Spectacular where there were story arcs and continous developments. Thanos using one stone at a time was a reference to Mephisto tricking Thanos into doing the same thing to impress the Embodiment of Death. He beat the heroes, but he never got the girl.
The problem there is that while the show did the same thing, they removed the *explanation* for this action. Which has the consequence of making Thanos look like he's suddenly holding the Idiot Ball because otherwise, the Avengers would just be dead. They really did Thanos dirty on this show.

I gave up on the series some time after Ultron and before secret wars. I gave up on Marvel animation completely when an entire episode of Spiderman was motivated by wanting to buy a burrito and that as all they did the whole episode. Marvel post Disney was often too silly and too playing it safe. No lives got lost no romances happened every ending was a happy ending. unlike in the FOX days when drama was all over the place.

liked, i have great appreciation for the effort you put in for the spoiler warning even though i didn't need it.
The problem for me was even when the show first started it was already a step down from EMH. It was catered for a younger audience much like its Spiderman counterpart instead of appealing to a wider range of fans its predecessors achieved. I tried to stick with it but found it hard to sit through too many episodes so I abandoned ship long before u did.
My opinions on Avengers Assemble align with that “Trash Baby” comment. I think the show is heavily flawed, but I still love it. I’ve seen every season and in my opinion, the one thing that would’ve really helped the show (other than better writing) would be less MCU pandering. Things in AA regularly get changed/added to include things from the Avengers movies (I’m presuming due to the decisions of some exec in marketing). However, there’s rarely any setup for these changes, so they felt jarring. Especially since the AA universe and MCU aren’t even connected and follow entirely separate storylines. For example, the change they made to Falcon mentioned at (5:35) felt so bizarre because AA Sam and Movie Sam are very different in their characterization.
I just think that if Avengers Assemble had been allowed to be its own thing, similar to Earth’s Mightiest Heroes it could’ve become something great.
Endgame spoilers
So Iron Man wrestles with Thanos for a second, and Thanos easily knocks him away. Thanos says “I am inevitable” and snaps his fingers, only to realize nothing happened. Tony lifts his hand, which now has all the infinity stones, and replies “and I... am... Ultron.” He then turns into Ultron. Then he snaps his fingers and all the life in the universe is replaced with machines. Now the robot Avengers have to stop Ultron.

Avengers Earth's Mightiest Heroes was going to be the greatest superhero show if it would've gotten a 3rd and 4th season they were going to do what the greatest superhero show Justice League Unlimited did and that was introduce their universe of characters known and hardly known with the already amazing story telling of seasons one and two.

I personally really liked Season 5, and think it has a neat Art Style. I mean, I agree, it's a little jarring to jump from Seasons 4 to 5, but if you think of it as a different show, it's really unique, and something I just really find appealing for some reason.
Maybe it's because the current show (shows, since Marvel's Spider-Man feels the same way) feels like if The CW made a Superhero show, and I do love my Superhero Soapoperas.

the film actually started in 42. He spent a few months in training so even though he met her in 42 he really didn't know her until 43. Where he spent that year being a show monkey until the end of 43 maybe 44. He then spent the next year fighting on the front lines. So he really only got to know her for 1 year even though he's probably been infatuated with her for 3 years

I saw season 5 and it’s beyond me why the story writers made it seem T’challa had any fault in what happened between him and the avengers.
I know it may seem like a cop out, but I thought they banked on Avengers Assemble being a soft reboot of EMH, like you were supposed to assume things that existed there also exist here and that’s why they didn’t have to introduce Ultron. Maybe that’s where my head was at but I liked the Arsenal turn to Ultron. The issue with the movie for me was they were very clear they didn’t let Ultron escape and the reason Ultron is scary is because he can just pop up anywhere at almost anytime. I do agree if you have no idea who he is, it seems out of left field, but they are banking that most people are aware of Ultron. The pilot does set up a world where the avengers worked together for a while and then broke up. With that in mind, I would assume most people would expect less explanation before every bad guy showing up, but it does require you to have paid attention to the intro of the pilot.
This show tried to match justice league and justice league unlimited so hard and failed so badly

I miss the days when cartoons based off comic books did their own thing. Now every cartoon has to be a slave to the mcu. Sometimes I wish Disney didn’t take over Marvel. I like the MCU movies, but I’m not crazy about them either.
