- I previously traveled to New York City to check out Mark O’Brien’s incredible brownstone projects, and now he’s in Exuma to see what I’m building. In this episode of Building Exuma, we break down the massive difference in real estate value between these two worlds-Manhattan’s West Village vs. 40 acres of beachfront paradise in the Bahamas.
It’s crazy to think that the cost of a single brownstone in NYC is the same as an entire island development in Exuma. From land prices to long-term investment potential, we’re diving into what makes each market unique.

All these new projects in the Exumas...are destroying the area...
And the Govt...keeps allowing more and more developments...

We are developing in a way and keeping 70-80 % green space. I didn't have to do that but believed it was very important.
Can't decide if this is amazing or really sad. I remember when the only thing on Stocking was the cottages next door. Was called Higgins Landing. Guess I'm glad I got to see it then. Maybe family of 10 will check it out if done by July, 2025.

What is framed over the roof sheathing?
Probably strapping for metal roofing.
