I legit love the characters of Lann and Raynn; they totally act like brother and sister. They have a definite love-hate relationship; the same all sibling's have. I speak from experience with my own brother, so this hits quite close to home for me.

hope the turn based battle system will get a bit faster/more interesting further into the game, i want to see some flashy moves like in the remakes of FF 1 through 4 since this battle system looks like its based on the classics (minimal movement in battle)

If you've played the demo, this game actually has a lot of depth in its combat. It's fun to put together stacks of party members to gain different effects. It plays like a traditional turn based RPG. And the characters are stylized in such a cute way that it really catches the eye. Games like these are called "gateway games". They're not really intended to test your mettle against powerful foes, hit it big, or cash in on nostalgia. Rather, games like these are meant to introduce newcomers to Final Fantasy, or even RPGs in general. Imagine never having played an RPG before, and you end up picking up WoFF. You go through it, maybe you like it, maybe you don't. But if you end up really liking it, you start to look for other Final Fantasy games, and LO AND BEHOLD Final Fantasy is an entire franchise that you have yet to scrape the surface of! WoFF is more or less supposed to promote the brand of Final Fantasy to get people to buy the other titles in the franchise, especially younger, more inexperienced players. This is a fantastic business strategy.
Jimmy a Geek thinking it looks nice is a big part of enjoying the game, tbh. was planning on getting it too, but definitely won't be a day 1 buy for me since it doesn't look like they tried too hard with it.

i dont like the fact that they dont cross the screen and physically attack each other instead they make hand motions and explode each other with magic even with the standard normal attacks at least thats what its like imo i hate that and it makes me not want to play it the graphics are gorgeous but even ff7 the original gameplay was better this invisible warp strike thing there doing is ff1 type shit and its outdated even the remakes of ff 1-4 didnt gameplay wasn't like this, this awful cant believe they turned this into a real full scale game they should've left it as an indie type like they planned to do im not use to square enix giving awful games but i guess even they can fuck up along the as well

I'm aware of that. I'm just saying fighting while moving is just as free as FFXV. Only some jobs don't have the complete freedom of moving while in combat.
this games combat is a nod to older final fantasy games bro. ff15 and 13 have derived from the normal combat system of final fantasy... 15 actually seems more like kingdom hearts than final fantasy actually.
