In Jan 2020 we went on a walk in one of our parks. There was 5 inches of snow. Some of the group wore snowshoes. It was marvelous. Not near as rugged as yours. But the crunch of each step and the snow in the trees. It was beautiful. Thanks for the wander on the rocks. Watching from Ohio USA.
Lovely day out. Memories of the start of my Pennine Way completion in 2013 and the last day when I went back again in 2015 for my personal celebration of the PW's 50th birthday. I walked from the Weaver Hills though the White Peak to Edale then up Grindsbrook Clough and over Kinder to Hayfield to finish at the Mass Trespass start in the quarry.
Was camping at Coopers opposite Nags Head way back in 1974 in deep snow. Walked up to Kinder via that main Pennine Way route and back via the Pennine Way bad weather route (Edale Cross / Jacobs Ladder).
Ant, that was simply beautiful and stunning, the British countryside at its best even in the wind and snow. Thanks for using your legs on this one, it looked a bit iffy in places!!!! 👍
Loved it Ant,such beautiful scenery, hard going at times but you did it,would have loved that walk, just one thing,Wheres your Hat! 😀, no wonder your legs ached when you got home, ☕
Great video really enjoyed that nice choice of music too....loved the gritstone which looked like et s head in all seriousness Ant super video keep up the great work..Frank & Lee..
A little bit of public info. At 07:06 in, Ant says he could be buggered by a fox. Since the turn of the 20th century all known foxes capable of buggering walkers became extinct. Stay safe in the hills people! Great vid and a great place and so quiet when you went! Keep them coming and entertain us through this time of lockdown in the uk. 👍👍👍
That was a great contrast to your other videos, but still real quality to watch. The scenery speaks for itself, I bet it was cold!!! Nice to see someone doing a bit of fell/trail running, didn't fancy it?!!
Great video! Kinder Scout is an amazing place regardless of the time of year but it's good to see in the snow and without the crowds of people you can get in summer. I'm looking forward to getting back there. I'm of the opinion that Grindsbrook is one of the hardest ways to get to the top, however!
Thoroughly enjoyed the video, thank you very much for sharing. How come you slid when walking down, yet the fell runner did not slip whilst running. At least you didn't get a muddy/wet backside.

Brilliant film with stunning photography. Looks really desolate and wild at this time of year.

Beautiful scenery. I'd love to do a walk like that, but I don't think my old bones would take it very well.
