That makes a whole lotta sense for Blitzwing!!😂😂 Also I like Overlord's accent as well, it's almost chilling known how he's so smooth talking before he'll brutally kill you.
Ah, I see. Between his rather unique apperance in Masterforce, to being a key component of the renowned Wreckers and Lost Light comic series, to having a major role in Prime Wars, I can see why Overlord has become a fan favorite. He’s certainly got some unique aspects to him. Hasbro really needs to Spawn more Overlords in future incarnations of the franchise to give him more exposure.
Pio Nepomuceno there’s one particular quote from Wreckers about overlord that always stick in my mind: Kup: “Unlike every other ‘con tough enough to give Megatron sleepless nights, Overlord wasn’t power-hungry. He just wanted to graduate from homicide to genocide. Add a few notches to his kill stats.”
I know this comment is 4 years old but I think the reason why he was never added is just cause what he does wouldn't stand out from the ultra violence that already happens in the movies.
Titans Return was where I found Overlord for the first time, and I gotta say, I liked that it lead to a scene where Megatron showed a caring side to Mistress of Flame.

I will always be disappointed that Megatron didn't kill him when he killed Tarn and the rest of the DJD. But that's because IDW Megatron is my favorite take on the character ever.
A fitting end would be Megatron kicking Overlord's ass so hard that Overlord can't repair himself from it and Megatron slapping Overlord with the truth that even as a "weak" Autobot, Megatron is still stronger than Overlord. Thus defeating Overlord both psychologically and physically

I'm at a bit of a disadvantage here, not really being familiar with the Japan-only part of G1, but I'd happily agree to your ordering of who is most sinister. I'm not sure that's would translate into ranks, however. Two very ruthless and ambitious Decepticons might never accept one another as superior, and so the result would be two rival faction leaders, or one overall leader and one outcast maverick. With that in mind, the most sinister character might be the leader, the second most sinister one an independent marauder, the third most sinister a lieutenant serving the leader, and so on. :)
I used to look at that exercise book sized European toy brochure with envious eyes after my friend bought Overlord. Never did get the toy myself, but LSotW and the surprisingly fun Masterforce cartoon made him a great character.
I love Overlord so much and bought both the Hasbro and the Takara versions (best of both worlds). Will never own the G1 original for obvious reasons but I'm so happy and thankful for what I do own of him!
My first encounter of Overlord was in Japan at the Nikko Narita hotel in 1988, where my brother and I saw him and asked our Mom to buy the toy. I had the tank, and my brother had the jet. Overlord was great, and I wondered when he was going to reach the Western world. He was so unique at the time, as he was the double powermaster, we knew there was a cartoon in Japan, but we never got to see them for how many decades. Glad to see Overlord was a character that fans also enjoyed, not only in Japan.

They be also both got weird shoulders
I first learned about Overlord in the IDW comics. Those pouty lips instantly drew me in lol
i cant tell who is worse ... tarn or overload
How fitting that I find this video on the day that Im supposed to get MTMTE Vol 4!
At 0:29 he said idiot
I hope that if we ever see Overlord in a proper show that he's voiced by Chris Guerrero for obvious reasons.
To be honest....I actually like Overlord's southern accent.
I used to look at that exercise book sized European toy brochure with envious eyes after my friend bought Overlord. Never did get the toy myself, but LSotW and the surprisingly fun Masterforce cartoon made him a great character.
Do the BASICS ON DRIFT
I love Overlord so much and bought both the Hasbro and the Takara versions (best of both worlds). Will never own the G1 original for obvious reasons but I'm so happy and thankful for what I do own of him!
Oof Overlord's lips thicc
My first encounter of Overlord was in Japan at the Nikko Narita hotel in 1988, where my brother and I saw him and asked our Mom to buy the toy. I had the tank, and my brother had the jet. Overlord was great, and I wondered when he was going to reach the Western world. He was so unique at the time, as he was the double powermaster, we knew there was a cartoon in Japan, but we never got to see them for how many decades. Glad to see Overlord was a character that fans also enjoyed, not only in Japan.
The first time I heard of him was the Master Force anime. After that the last stand of the wreckers!
When I was young, one of my cousins had the original toy (I am from europe). Thats how I knew that Overlord existed.
