@Corvus Morve The Force is an allegory for life and the souls we possess. It is real, as real as the words we believe in and the reality we breathe every repetitive day. It represents everything around us, as written by George as he concieved the idea for it.. Believing in our imagination is no different than believing in religion, believing in the false, believing in ruin. It all means nothing to the rest of the universe, as the universe does not think nor see. It merely watches as it expands every century. So, if I were to start believing one day that I was psychic, because of my guesses becoming true nearly everytime in my life, I would then relate every further mind based action I take to my non existent psychic powers. This is a delusion, but not an ill-gained one. In such a linear and repetitive reality like the one we live in, full of hatred, love and sorrow, is it not so reasonable for someone to believe in that power of psychic ability? You could be a Jedi in real life. Join a Jedi based religion from the characteristics and teachings created by one man behind many movies and novels. Nothing would change in the world. You simply believe in the imagination of another. Our selves, our thoughts, our personalities, our worlds. Everything is constructed and communicated through each and every one of us as a species of beings with intelligent brains. This entire construct can be given any sort of name, like the force, for example. And it would remain the same. Because that's exactly what it is. Something that flows, something that connects us all. Anything can be believed in, and nothing would change. Except for our view on the reality we are in.

Ok for some reason I fell asleep wit this on and the dialogue was effecting my dreams I was a full blown sith and revan and I battled against death maul I don’t know why he was oi enemy but anyways we battled I was about to die and revan sacrificed himself for me then yoda came in spirit form and said sacrifices for the greater good are necessary but he didn’t know I was a sith then out of know where I just randomly blew him up like dr Manhattan did to rorshack don’t mind the sleeping haha but by the end of my dream I was the emperor and dr Manhattan was my apprentice 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
I remember a dialogue option about Kreia discussing lightsaber colors but I can't seem to find it. She discusses their meaning and what type of Jedi typically use each one. Anyone know a timestamp around where to search? I remember it happening fairly early in the game and the option comes up during your quest to build a lightsaber
Weird, there is dialogue here that I've never heard, and I've lost count of how much I've played this game. Like, the thing between Atton and Kreia after Atton has told the exile his story, I've only ever heard the version where she threatens him sayin "I can unlock that part of you any time I want". I have never heard the other versions, were it sounds like Kreia told Atton to lie to the exile or something, and I've not heard the conversation where Atton accuses Disciple of being a traitor. It must be a light side thing. Only like 5% of my playthroughs are light side, lol And also the dialogue between Kreia and Atris where Kreia says *she* was the one who insisted the Exile would be...well, exiled. Never heard that, never knew that.
Kinda odd how kreia hates droids despite herself saying they are dead to the force. You would think she would have respect for things dead to the force since she hates it.
Hi. I read your description, so I'll share one peculiar rebuttal, paraphrasing the devs point of view from an interview. (PS, it's a lengthy read so please have a comfy seat. ) Note 3. I've heard a similar argument recently. I.e. the will of the force is merely a belief. It's a fair point and a strong argument can reinforce that criticism of Kreia. Because, there is no intervention by a personal deity in the EU, ergo, the will of the force is reduced to random phenomena. Unlikely events happening all the time, jet completely possible. These events are then interpreted by the characters as supernatural, jet can be reduced to a belief due to lack of a prior cause. However, K2 then presented itself on the EU stage: Chris Avalons sentiment was Darth Nihilus. Nihilus completely embraced himself in the force. They say you become what you eat, right... he he. Or, at least it's suggested it is only a matter of time before he is indistinguishable from the force. A primal thing. During the game, he still commands a ship, he has servants, he has his mask and armour, and an apprentice. (An apprentice which happened to lead to his downfall.) He clings to his humanity, but as he grows in power, he literally becomes one with the force. A primal power with no equals. Ergo, following this argument, the will of Nihilus equate to the will of the force: What is it Nihilus wills? This is my take on it, you might disagree. Think about what his name symbolizes. Nihil-us. Nihil literally means 'nill' or 'nothing'. According to the wiki, Nihilus is derived from annihilate and nihilistic. The suffix -us is a fourth declection, latin, turning a verb into a noun. To annihilate is to destroy everything. On the other hand, a nihilistic attitude is a denial of all real existence. Profound ideas. Thinking about it, as I write this, those two concepts pretty much sums up all wars. The will of Star Wars is as if you gaze into the void, and the void gazes into you. An impersonal deity, that doesn't interact, jet it wills destruction of everything. Endless wars. The end. Minor unavoidable side track, just for fun: The other side of Chris Avalons sentiment, is the obvious realization that Nihilus is Darth Trayas direct pet project. She was his master. Therefore, the will of the force, as prescribed by Kreia, becomes a self-fulfilling prophecy. Brilliant! I find that idea equally ironic and amusing. xD To sum up, according to Avalon, Nihilus is the answer to what is the will of the force. What you extract from that is up to you. One thing is certain, as far as I know, it's a novel idea within the Star Wars universe. Anyways, have a nice evening. I hope this was a worthwhile use of your time. Thank you.
The idea that Kreia, despite all her efforts was ultimately serving and strengthening thing she so desperately hated is interesting (and tragic), but how does the exile fit into this? They themselves are a walking wound in the force. albeit a "stable" one that doesn't have to feed to maintain it's existence, even though they can if they want to. and can also use the force by proxy through their bonds with other beings.
Exactly what I was looking for I knew kreia had hours upon hours, ive seen the other videos of kotor 1 and 2, it seems kotor 2 has more dialogue than kotor 1 overall is that correct?
about 4-5 more hours of companion dialogue, thought that doesn't account for non-party npcs or aliens. despite that I think its pretty safe to assume 2 has more dialogue.
Kreia hated both sides, the only with deals in absolutes doesnt actually make any sense. Don't get me wrong it's probably one if my favorite lines but it just doesnt make sense.
@@niakdrolrevottv the more you see no other way. She saw her teachings only led to the dark side and thought that perhaps she herself was wrong eventually she saw it as the absolute truth.
@@cendresaphoenix1974 that wasnt kreia at all, she abhorred light side and dark side, she hated the force itself and anyone who relied on the force including jedi and sith.
Ryan Davison Kreia is a character from one of the old Star Wars games. This is her dialogue. Some and maybe many of the fans consider Kreia one of the best developed Star Wars characters.she is an old Jedi mater who turned to the dark side once. But in the game she comes to hate the Force. And she seeks to destroy the Force or humanity 's connection to the Force.
how do you get to these files? i can see them in the kotor folder, i think. but they are .wav files and no matter what i do i cant figure out how to open them. im trying to get at the random npc dialogue and background characters. do you batch everything together?

Hey I'm making a Star Wars video I was wondering if the quote "You see, the war, the true war, has never been one waged by droids, or warships, or soldiers. They are but crude matter, obstacles against which we test ourselves. The true war is waged in the hearts of all living things, against our own natures, light or dark. That is what shapes and binds this galaxy." Comes up in this? When I searched it, this video came up.
@@ItsATwinThingYT I added "The True War"

*Do Not Cloak One Word Within Another. Friends. Do Friends Not Follow? Do Friends Not Form A Hierarchy Of Their Own, No Matter How Small The Circle?*
One of the most underrated and barley understood characters
Ok for some reason I fell asleep wit this on and the dialogue was effecting my dreams I was a full blown sith and revan and I battled against death maul I don’t know why he was oi enemy but anyways we battled I was about to die and revan sacrificed himself for me then yoda came in spirit form and said sacrifices for the greater good are necessary but he didn’t know I was a sith then out of know where I just randomly blew him up like dr Manhattan did to rorshack don’t mind the sleeping haha but by the end of my dream I was the emperor and dr Manhattan was my apprentice 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
write this down
"Know that there was once a DWARF Treya..."
I would hire this woman just to read me stories before bed.
Again I could listen to Kreia all day everyday I love you Master 💖😍❤
Kreia is so amazing

This will be a great resource for my Mandalorian Wars/Arren Kae fanfic. Thank you
Why this have so many dislikes? It's amazing and handy that someone put all Kreia dialogues to enjoy. Probably fans of Sion and Nihilus!
ikr, ignorant fools
I fell asleep and woke up to this...
Thanks for doing these!
We thank you great Sith Lord 🙏
I was asleep and i woke up to this
I remember a dialogue option about Kreia discussing lightsaber colors but I can't seem to find it. She discusses their meaning and what type of Jedi typically use each one. Anyone know a timestamp around where to search? I remember it happening fairly early in the game and the option comes up during your quest to build a lightsaber
147 its around there
fantastic writing and voice acting
Kreia I just love & adore you such wisdom
I fell asleep with TH-cam on last night... 2 hours and 15 minutes in
Weird, there is dialogue here that I've never heard, and I've lost count of how much I've played this game.
Only like 5% of my playthroughs are light side, lol
And also the dialogue between Kreia and Atris where Kreia says *she* was the one who insisted the Exile would be...well, exiled. Never heard that, never knew that.
Well, there was a LOT of content left out of the game in a rush to get it finished.

A fair amount cut for good reason (like the part where she says she was the one who "pressured" the Exile to be exiled)

*The Greatest Technique Is To Do The Same Without Resorting To The Force.*
But there are times when doing the same *with* the Force is necessary.
I've finished this game so many times that I use her voice to read lol
The children of Traya thanks you
Best female character imo
Kinda odd how kreia hates droids despite herself saying they are dead to the force. You would think she would have respect for things dead to the force since she hates it.
Dead to the force, but subservient to another’s will maybe?
I woke up to this
*insert Kreia wide walk here *
Thanks for this video !! i very hepfully
Hi. I read your description, so I'll share one peculiar rebuttal, paraphrasing the devs point of view from an interview.
(PS, it's a lengthy read so please have a comfy seat. )
Note 3. However, K2 then presented itself on the EU stage:
Chris Avalons sentiment was Darth Nihilus.
The end.
Minor unavoidable side track, just for fun:
The other side of Chris Avalons sentiment, is the obvious realization that Nihilus is Darth Trayas direct pet project. She was his master. Therefore, the will of the force, as prescribed by Kreia, becomes a self-fulfilling prophecy. Brilliant! I find that idea equally ironic and amusing. xD
To sum up, according to Avalon, Nihilus is the answer to what is the will of the force.
@@joe-astro812 Where doe the Exile fit into this? You'll probably hate my answer. He he. What do you think?

2:16:16 finally, I found the line I'm looking for.

The more kreia saw absolute the faster she fell to the darkside.

Ryan Davison dialogue analysis
MysteriosMations no i get that but is this a made up character from star wars because i don't remember her
Ryan Davison Kreia is a character from one of the old Star Wars games. This is her dialogue. Some and maybe many of the fans consider Kreia one of the best developed Star Wars characters.she is an old Jedi mater who turned to the dark side once. But in the game she comes to hate the Force. And she seeks to destroy the Force or humanity 's connection to the Force.

how do you get to these files? i can see them in the kotor folder, i think. but they are .wav files and no matter what i do i cant figure out how to open them. im trying to get at the random npc dialogue and background characters. do you batch everything together?
if you change the file extension to .mp3 they become playable in adobe premiere (and media player classic)
