I love those types of maps. Let's you be really creative. Another favorite is Calm Lands. Except for the huge hill to get to the sell points at the top. I wish it was a bit more flat. I don't mind the hills, but a 100hp tractor can't pull much to the shops.
Great episode watch every minute of it love the long episodes I started on farm SIM 22 only been playing it 9 months and for the question of the day I think you should do chicken's nice and cheap to start with and you don't need all different feed for them decent money for the eggs
After reading the comments and giving it some thought, I am leaning towards chickens. I've almost always had chickens in my game saves, but they have always been a side hustle. I've never considered doing a chicken focused series. Maybe we'll do that. Maypole and Bloomfield were cows, Korpi and Pioneer were sheep, Ohio will be pig focused. Chickens need to shine! 😀🚜😝
It's a fun map. One of the few that I can play over and over again and still have fun creating. I was surprised to see how well EP1 was received. I think next week we'll change Ohio to twice a week, freeing up another slot for No Man's Land. Western Wilds.....hmmm...kinda forgot about that one. It's a good one as well. Thanks!
Yes, I love this map too. Krustoo, you need to use the built in greenhouses, they will give you good income. Mushroom and flowers, they are cheap to buy too. I have bought 2 of each greenhouse, and I rarely are below 100000 Euro. I can hear some noise in the background. I respect thunder storms, because they have fried both my computer and washing machine in the past.
It's been a rough week for weather around here. I'll consider the special greenhouses, but they seem almost like cheating lol. We'll probably go without at first, but then add them if money is a problem.
Love this episode and map choice! A great replacement to Korpi. Absolutely love the length of the episode! I could see this series run at least 100 episodes. I can forsee off in the distance the city of Krustoopolis within in the county of Krustoopia. A quaint Canadian oasis with farmland, ranches, productions, even a nice vacation spot at a lake, vibrant Canadian trees. WA...WA...WWAA, I digress...I could go on forever. As for the animals, chickens would be an awesome choice since you already have a field planted with sorghum. Another good option, plant a field for a large honeybee production. Again, love this new series...looking forward to watching the 4 or 5 full seasons 😀. Should consider in the future of doing co-op farming with a few choice people that'll work with you and not for themselves. Hope your weekend is going well.
lmao, Krustoonians wandering the streets. I've considered the idea of renting a server and doing a multiplayer kinda thing with a few other similar youtubers, or perhaps premium subscription subs later on. Not sure how logical that is. I have a few ideas for year two. Today is the anniversary of the channel, well the first video on the channel. Pioneer EP1. 🍾🎂🚜🐄👍🐮😀
I am sure you won't understand why I am commenting. I enjoyed this episode very much. Last Sim Farmer I played was 17. I just started playing again. your very helpful. Thanks again. I plan on waching this all the way thru. Hoping it will last. And I made it to the end. )) I bet they will say Chickens
I just found this. It's two months old so no reason to tell you to get sheep. Wool is a good money maker. I'll just keep watching until I catch up. I liked and subscribed.
Thanks for joining the channel! Ha...you'll be sad to know there's no sheep on the horizon for this series. We did sheep on a couple of other series including the currently Karhuvaara series. As for this series, greenhouses and chickens are on the menu (and a lot of other things!). Have a great day!
well...some good money was "cultivated". Looks like expensive to lease the equipament to make silage bales with this grass...but worth it. anyway... was just a observation. In hard economy, it is possible to "recover" the money used to buy the plot only with the grass that have on it.
Yes, very solid strategy. I really wanted to get fields going early, so I used the grass as a first fertilizer application for free instead. But I may use the silage strategy later in the series, as we grow. Thanks!
Just started this series. You mention a mmo about farming, cooking, etc? Could you link me or tell me the name here. The subtitles weren't helping haha
If I remember correctly, I was referring to Palia. Looked really cool, but do to limited time, I didn't get around to look at it in depth. The version I saw was the beta. I would consider it in the "cozy game" category. Low stress gameplay.
For my series, there was a few loose rules at the beginning, but it quickly evolves from surviving to thriving. I think I went over it at the beginning of episode 1. Not as strict as some others.
It's a great franchise, for sure. For me, it's the latest genre I've gotten involved with, so I have a strong appreciation for the genres I was involved with before I discovered FS. It's now my favorite, though. But I still dabble in other things.
I am leaning towards chickens! Of course, a good livestock guard dog is a must. I'd love to see predators added to the next version of farm sim. You'd have to add protections of all kinds to your animals.
When I started this series, I had just finished a forestry series (Korpi) and a cow farm series (Maypole) and I wanted to change it up a bit. But, keep watching, changes happen!
Here is my beef with mod hub they go to g rated hell they dont even have a butcher shop never mind the breweries if g rated is really a goal for them ask when you buy the age preferences
I guess they are catering to the widest audience, including a lot of people that don't really know anything about farming and the associated circle of life. Abattoirs and Butcher shops should be productions. Vineyards and breweries. Hemp and Cannabis (I understand this one since it's illegal in a lot of places, but here in Canada it's not a big deal). I guess they have to draw the line somewhere. Farm Manager 2021 has wine and beer making as an official DLC, but that's a very different kind of game.
I like that you’re doing it this way instead of jump cuts and time lapses
I do a little jump cutting, but I try to keep it minimal. Thank you!
No Mans Land is always fun. Still watching.
It's a great map. Should be part of base game, in my opinion. Thank you!
The reason I like No Man's Land is because you can set up your farm from scratch. No prebuilt farm yard, etc.

@@krustoo there just nice and easy and cheap to feed to start don’t need lots of different food mixtures 👍🏻
Awesome! I like the long cuts too. Just hit record and jam, hey man. Subbed.
Thanks for the sub! I have some catching up to do on your channel! Cheers!
@@krustoo same for me over here mate.
I love this map and Western Wilds. Good episode. Hope to see more!

@@krustoo glad you are going to do it more. With all the extra stuff in FS, it cool to just play and create a simple farm.
this is a really nice map its a map i always play

I just had to do it. Pretty iconic map.

chickens, bees, and sheep
Sheep would sure be easy on this map. We have a long way to go, so I think it's inevitable!
There is some good greenhouses that grows flowers and muchroms on this map, I belive. Needs alot of water, but it gives alot back.
Yes, those will be considered for sure. Maybe mushroom greenhouse and chickens. I can make mushroom omelets for breakfast every day!

That is awesome! Welcome to the series! It's a long one and probably one of my favorite so far. Cheers!
You can drive water tankers into the pond and fill them up
I think only the main lake works, but I'm not sure! Thanks.
totally should play palia, great game
I gave it a go in beta and it was still a little buggy. I'll let the dust settle a bit and try again. Glad to hear you are enjoying it!
Great episode
It's a good day to be a farmer....like every other day. Glad you're enjoying the series!

I say get some chickens or sheep. Those are good starter animals. Especially the chickens
I agree, I think we'll at least start with chickens.
I like cows, always have and always will. 🙂
We might do that in the later game. We'll see.🐮🐄
yet another amazing series being started
Thanks. Two new series in the same week. Not sure what I'm getting myself into! lol

@@krustoo Thank you :)
I like your series because you hear the tracker noise I don’t hear music in the background
I prefer the natural sounds as well. Tractors, birds.....etc. I like implements that have realistic sounds when they unfold.
Cows 31:26
Thank you! Cows sound like a good choice!
What are the rules of no man's land survival challenge?
For my series, there was a few loose rules at the beginning, but it quickly evolves from surviving to thriving. I think I went over it at the beginning of episode 1. Not as strict as some others.
@@krustoo thank you
Rabbit goats and chickens because they feed themselves just open forage open range
I wish rabbits and goats were part of the base livestock. Also turkeys and alpacas. The list could go on and on!
Fs22 about a month ago is when I started lol
Welcome to the rabbit hole that is Farming Simulator!
Wouldn't spend my time anywhere but fs only game i own for a reason
It's a great franchise, for sure. For me, it's the latest genre I've gotten involved with, so I have a strong appreciation for the genres I was involved with before I discovered FS. It's now my favorite, though. But I still dabble in other things.
Chickens and a dog.

Farming Simulator 2011
That's almost the beginning! Nice.
Farm Sim 17
I have 17 on console, I should go back and play it a bit.
Sheep man
There's sure enough grass around to make sheep easy! Thanks.
Easy set up mower water trailer and something and there is a lot 9f grass on that map lol
G9tse and shep
I always preferred these long play throughs. was never a big fan of just the timelapse
There's only one timelapse channel I watch regularly. I prefer the 45-60 minute range myself to watch. Glad you like it.
Ducks
Don't think I have the mods loaded for that. Thank you!
Chicken
Haha....yes....we will probably do chickens in this series! Lots of chickens!
fs13
I'm tempted to go back and play the very first Farming Simulator and work my way up to get a sense for the evolution of the game.
@@krustoo great idea u will be surprised
Wjy dont sel wood for money and begin a cattle farm
When I started this series, I had just finished a forestry series (Korpi) and a cow farm series (Maypole) and I wanted to change it up a bit. But, keep watching, changes happen!
Fs15
I should at least hit up some TH-cam videos to see how the game was earlier.
