Daggerwin the big stack of logs in front of the sawmill cutm up n chip them first thing i did on the map looks like the beginning of another excellent series👍👍👍👍
Just found this game 2 days ago, fancied a challenge, set this up pretty much as you did, less decor items, toolbox no workshop. No bales to sell. Tatty old sheds, house etc Gonna pretend I've bought out a failed logging business, last owner fell in the chipper. I know hardly anything about this game. Should be fun. 😁
I love how you keep coming up with new ideas to keep things fresh and reigniting my gameplay in FS19. Not sure I’m ready for that level of poverty though 😀
Excited to see this play through. I started a game not long ago where I only started with 10 dollars, no starting equipment and no leasing. Its very satisfying slowly building up your farm.
I restored a 1952 Ford 8N tractor a couple years ago which is very similar to your Fergy, and it is a wonderful little beast. I mainly use it for dragging a 6 foot blade to clear snow from my long driveway. If you get a plow, only a two blade plow is recommended so there's that...lol. They were really good at doing hay...cutting and bailing. Cool series.
That Fergueson is a T0-20 or T0-30 which is a work horse and a great vintage tractor. It was better than the Ford 8n in the torque ranges. It was an overhead valve 4 cylinder engine compared to Fords Flathead 4. A pure workhorse. I had both and they are both great tractors. Great video.
Not sure if someone maybe already mentioned this but you could seed grass or cut the grass on the property. With it regrowing you’d save on seed and fertilizer with one less state to do. You would have to get a way to collect it but you could build a bunk out of old tires and make silage. I’d love to see some vintage grass/hay equipment on that pretty Ferguson before it’s gone. But, either way this will be an awesome series and I’m looking forward to watching progress and see your vision play out on this wonderful map!
it sorta reminds me of that season of survival roleplay and if he feels like he needs to move again (and if letton goes on fs19) he could see what has happened and how well the government pumped the water away and made a dam and how well they cleaned the mess
I did a similar challenge on a forest map ... started with nothing else than 1. An old pickup truck 2. A chainsaw .Was not even having a cabin at first! Was crazy fun.
survival series without the storyline. nice and refreshing! gj Daggs also if its cheaper get the front end loader and put a scoop of something in it and that should also add more weight out front.
I would hope no super strength was active, as that would make it more real, as console users for example, cannot activate that and require buying machines to work
The ferguson pack comes with a 5 furrow plow that costs 500 dollars i belive and can be pulled and lifted with your tractor, i think its the same size as the cultivator you have as well
ah, i remember this from modest gaming, he does a lot of these but does time lapses. Great series I am excited for it it's like another survival roleplay with a bigger challenge
Really excited to see how this series develops. Maybe have a look at the hand scythe and hayfork mods and make so hay to sell? Not checked how those mods work but the hayfork is on modhud shown on the back of the little Massey

Another way to address the tractor front weight problem would be to add the front end loader, which could be handy for handling logs as well, especially when you upgrade the trailer to something bigger. Having a loader on the tractor would also allow you to handle big bags and crates of seed and fertilizer.
At first I thought it would be a funny video idea to play farmer simulator but once I found out this has a fan base I was impressed and slightly happy.

Somehow YT recommended this to me and honestly I like the idea behind it. So thx for this challenge idea, maybe FS19 getting interesting again for me.
