Excellent info! I bought an old CB450 and when I got it home and started maintenance on it I noticed the clutch actuator was butchered after removing the cover. The previous owner was running an O-ring chain. Also a good tip on holding the chain vertically to check if it 'loops' and is worn.
thank you. I'm going to replace shoes on rear drum brake this winter. I never knew about the sagging chain test. I'll plan on changing in new chain and sprocket. I don't even know what I sprockets have. It will be interesting to see how things look when I see the old rear drum and shoes. 30k on bike and the rear may be OEM. The PO included new shoes and hardware and drum hub that the owner before him had bought but never used.
Thanks for the video. I recently purchased a 31T rear sprocket from TC Brothers "meant for highway speeds". My plan was to run a new 17T up front, but do you recommend going for an 18T or would the 17 be ok?
Well the 31T with the 17T front sprocket is 1.8 ratio and 31t with a 18T from is 1.7 ratio. So I don't see much differences I just run your 17 T / 31T. Thanks for watching.
Great information , just like always
Thanks for watching.
Very helpful. Great to see examples as well as hearing advice.
I try to get out some decent information. Thanks for watching.

Yes the o-ring chain can cause a bit of damage that's why I run the heavy duties. Hey thanks for watching and good luck with that CB450 Honda
Love this channel, keep up the good work!
Thank you and thanks for watching.

Why not just run a 520 o ring chain
Because I don't want to. Thanks for watching
