I was told by a random stranger that knows nothing about motorcycles that I needed to raise my needle up one notch because I’m running lean. My spark plugs are a little white so, maybe, but can you confirm if this sounds familiar or even the slightest correct?

    Good information. I picked up a 22 Himalayan leftover and could not be happier with Royal Enfield. 17 month's and 9000 miles, not a issue. I maintain the bike myself. All the after market parts are for some but I run stock. 80 MPH and 68 MPG are my numbers but I drive around 100 kph or 62 mph. No hurry or wheelies for this 63 year old. I ride everyday around the Red Rock canyon area in Vegas. Baxters is The go to for Enfield parts, and if you haven met Fuzzy biker...your missing out. " Forgotten motorcycles " is where to find this Enfield aficionado. The last week with temperatures in the 90's at 4am, the valleys not cooling off so rides from 4:45 to 6:15am have come to a screeching halt. Ride Safe!

    R.E. Is just killing it with an affordable line of motorcycles. But…. The dealers have to back off of the extras they charge on these bikes. I realize they have to make a profit but when you have a bike that MSRP’s for $5000. and it’s marked up $2000. Plus that a serious chunk of change. Other brand do the same thing. Personally it leads me to the used market from private sellers.

    • @outlaw86custom
      @outlaw86custom หลายเดือนก่อน

      To tell you the truth, The only reason why I bought a brand new Royal Enfield it's because I didn't know that much about him and how dependable they are, so I wanted some sort of warranty. I probably would have been okay just buying a used one. They are a pretty simple bike to work on and the quality is a lot better than I thought. Thanks for watching

    I've been curious about the Royal Enfields, and using one as a lighter weight adv bike. I like the mods you made. Does the tuner you installed help with the lean condition, especially after opening up the airflow and a different exhaust? That probably has a catalytic converter and an o2 sensor underneath, does the skid plate protect them?

    Enjoy your R.E. They are giving the competition a run for their money. The R.E. 650 engine is sweet. I got to demo several R.E. models. The you tube gal,”Ichy Boots” who did have a Himalayan went all over with it and loved it. She also got to try out the new 450 version. She liked the upgrade. She then went onto a Honda 300 CRF which she loves. She currently is back in the Netherlands where she’s from because she wiped out in Africa and broke her collarbone and in surgery they punctured her lung. Her videos are interesting and has many with her Himalayan. Thanks for sharing your new ride. Currently I’m trying to troubleshoot a short with my directionals on my XS650C. Keeps piping the fuse when I engage them. My flasher relay looks like it arched.

      I don't know but it could have been made in 68 when shipped from Japan to USA and titled as 69. I have a CB 360 titled as a 75 but was built in 74. Thanks for watching.

      Not a 69. Two very distinct features of the 69 are the rounded trialgular shaped speedo and the angled carburator that are difficult to find. You need a special intake manufold to replace the carb with a non 69 model carb. There may be other differences I'm not aware of.

    I can't find an electronic ignition conversion. Everyone seems to be out of stock. What gives?

      This was a pre-cut kit from coastal off-road in British Columbia. So I don't know what measurements exactly I could give you. But thanks for watching

    Where do we get new gasket kit that contains all those jets, valves, and gaskets? My bike is a 1977 and it really needs this done. THANK YOU for the diaphragm leak test with you finger on the hole! Fantastic quick trick for such an important part.
