- Have a quick dinner with me as I try Peruvian food for the very first time. Here I am at H&B New York Style Deli & More. Located just 3 miles outside of West Philadelphia in Delaware County PA, USA.

I think I can see some Dominican food on the table like tostones and fried plátano, is completely different the presentation plates in peru ,I will recommend you travel to peru

I was thinking what's missing on this video, and when you mentioned that you had no microphone with you, then I realized that's the missing one 😅. But wow you ordered a LOT of food. Did you ordered everything on their menu? By just the look of it, it really looks so good. I'm curious, the red soup, was it spicy? Are Peruvians fond of spicy food as well? If I could just pass thru my phone screen and sit down with you on your full of food table 😅😂

No, the red soup wasn't hot/spicy. I'm not too sure if the Peruvians and fond of spicy food 🤷🏻 But nothing that I had was too spicy or hot.

Thank you for trying our gastronomy. But you must be careful, many restaurants take the name of Peruvians when they are not. They prepare dishes that we do not know in Peru, or they prepare unknown inventions or fusions. For example: the "Saltado de Camarones" that they served him does not exist in Peru. As Peruvians, it bothers us that there are these restaurants that degrade our gastronomy.
The "Roasted Chicken" (Roasted Chicken) is achieved in any country. In Peru we have the "Pollo a la Brasa" which is our flagship dish, it has a dressing of more than 10 ingredients and is marinated from one day to the next, it is a dish with a unique flavor.
As a Peruvian, I appreciate that you try our gastronomy (we have more than 3,000 unique and traditional dishes to try), which is very good and recognized worldwide.
