This inspires me to finish setting up my car and tuning it my self. I don't want to throw a mad amount of timing or anything at it but I am looking to do a safe flex tune so I can make somewhere around 400hp / tq with a smaller turbo. I have done all of the work to my car to this point and hope to move forward with it soon. All of the local tuners are in Denver so I would have to take my car pretty far away to get anything done so I really like that you go through and explain so many things, it helps better understand some of the aspects of tuning.

It’s going in for a tune soon and was curious what the ideal hp/tq be. It’s not my daily but I want it to still be reliable but I am looking for more power. Will be on e85 tune.
Hey bro I need your opinion, I have an Evo 8 making 410hp on 85, full bolt ons except for stock turbo, intake/exahsut manifold, I want to go with a 20g turbo this year and just get more on my top end, maybe go to 425-450hp, the bottom end is stock and is close to 100k miles, also thinking of maybe going speed density, I daily drive this car and I drive it normal, once in a while do a pull, and I take care of it, is this plan worth it? I plan to get the engine fully built later just wondering if I can do this now since I’m on a budget

Is it ok if I trick the computer to thinking there’s nothing wrong with it because I’ve had this problem for about a month and nothing seems wrong, no actual issues, also I plan to go Speed density and Ik that there’s something involved with the fuel temp sensor right? Would that hinder the tuning process

My friend is in the process of starting up his Evo 8 with wiseco 1400hd pistons, male H-tuff rods, Manley forged crank crank. Walbro 450 lph... I am worried about the main crank clearance which are 0.0017" and 0.0018 on journal #5. The rods are at 0.002. He says he wants 450 to 500hp. What's your take
Is it common to see boost start to come on at 6000ft altitude around 70 load? When logging 2 byte load raw my load values were reading high and not matching my requests in my timing and fuel maps. I started logging baro+temp compensated 2byte and now it seems to match up. Does this seem correct? Thanks for your help!
Man I had my IX MR built and it took over a year due to lazy people, in the tuning process it started knocking and I got fisted out of all of that money... I love my Evo, but I think it’s more of a headache than anything else. The car unfortunately is still broke because I used all funds to build it the first time 🥴😣

Stock turbo with stock cams e85 = 350-400

Do you recommend for dual pumper users to hardwire both pumps or to use oem wiring for main pump and hardwire 2nd pump with relay/fuse. Evo X

Yes u can. If ur motor is healthy u should not have any issues. Also stock Evo 8 turbo 410hp?

Tell him to go to the Manley I beams instead
I dont think hes gonna get more than that too. The single pump I thinks top out near 600hp.

Too many variables. Load reading is subject to how u setup ur map and sd tables.
