  • Narration over photos of OEM EOS VR6 exhaust and new Magnaflow exhaust. Dual center resonators were kept in place and secondary resonator replaced with the Magnaflow 10416 muffler and new 2.5" pipe which ends with 2.75" dual tips (Different Trend DT24122). End of video has sound clip of fully stock EOS VR6 exhaust followed by the new Magnaflow exhaust.

Impressed he let it warm up and get lubed at each start rather than starting it and revving to redline while cold and dry....

The Downpipe including the katalytic convertors and the resonators is the same for the Golf MK5 R32, only without the resonators ;)
This setup without the last silencer won't be legal in germany with our restrictions :/

Yes, installed. Few hundred miles since installation, ride is excellent, better than the OE Sport suspension but its possible the shock/struts and mounts were worn out. Comfortable ride.

Do you get alot of drone during highway driving. Everyone is telling me better to leave resonator and remove muffler

If you notice in the video, the cats and two front resonators are still in place. I removed the rear resonator and rear muffler and replaced with the Magnaflow muffler. If you wanted it to be more quiet, then yes, you could leave the rear resonator and just remove the rear muffler. I did not test this, so I don't know what it would sound like.
