Hey!! I’ve just stumbled on your great video. Re a previous comment re your karaoke songs, I bet tales from the river bank is on it. 😜 It was lovely to meet you both, albeit briefly. I still say “private hell” is far better than “tales from the river bank” which the brunette (of you both) kept screaming down my ear trying to get from the jam to play it 🤣 When I’ve heard tales from the river bank since I, had to chuckle. recalling our shout off as to which song we’d like from the Jam to play 😃. If you can’t recall, I’m the one in your video with the multi coloured hat when from the jam are playing to be someone . Fantastic weekend.
Oh yes I remember our shout-off, great fun! I love Tales from the Riverbank as you guessed - reason I was shouting for it is ‘cos I’ve never heard it played live before. It’s not one FTJ or Weller ever play. I live in hope though! 😂 One day I might get my request 😊 Good to hear from you and great memories at Stone Valley, such a great festival xx
@@Choose80s If you search on youtube for "The Jam - Bingley Hall 1982", tales from the river bank starts at 28:12.. I was at Birmingham Bingley Hall the night before this video was recorded as they played two nights at this venue on that tour and so I would have seen the same set. I got to see The Jam 5 times from 1979 to 1982. ,Four times at Birmingham Bingley Hall and once at Poole Art Centre. They were amazing live, and the atmosphere at Birmingham Bingley Hall was incredible, with 5,000 people standing.
@@Choose80s Mainly some Queen songs like I Want To Break Free Radio Ga Ga Kind Of Magic etc Duran Duran one like Planet Earth Hungry Like a Wolf Is There Something I Should Know The Cure Just Like Heaven Human League Don't You Want Me Gary Numan Cars are some of my karaoke songs. To Cut a Long Story Short another one i do.
