    A nice explanation of doing business and what to pay attention to.
    It is crucial to invest in quality and material that lasts a long time. Including a shed or workspace that retains its value and that you can supplement over the years with extra goodies. And what you can look back on.
    Deliver quality and the customers will remain customers. Word of mouth is the best way to grow.

    One thing every shop forgets to do is adding a pit to work on vehicles. Can’t wait to see the finish product👍🏽

    • @jeepinass
      @jeepinass 2 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      A pit?! Hahahha What are you? 1952? Lifts are where it's at.

    • @Johnthelittlebuilder
      @Johnthelittlebuilder 2 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      @@jeepinass try lifting a 40000 pound front end loader tell me if you survive. Once you get larger equipment lifts are useless as they are too small in both lifting capacity and physical size

    • @jeepinass
      @jeepinass 2 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      @@Johnthelittlebuilder heavy equipment is a bit of a different story. If that was the sole purpose of a shop, sure, a pit makes sense. Very niche market there though. Most folks don't want to work around that giant hole in the ground 99% of the time for that 1% of time that it's handy.

    • @logan2244
      @logan2244 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      So much quicker changing your oil in a pit no matter vehicle/equipment size

    Nice! -- QUESTION -- Small question.. we like the black headliner in your F250. Was that special ordered? We keep seeing white or grey headliners..

    nice shop tour, one thing you might want to consider in the office area is a small first aid room. Not only because Caleb cut his thumb but it might be mandatory if you have more than a certain number of employees. also having a few employees trained in first aid would be important also. just a thought.

  • @donstair8389

    Wonderful shop. Does the shop have heated floors also like the office?

  • @quill1260
    @quill1260 2 ปีที่แล้ว

    When speaking of sharing an office, right before she said "Sixteen-foot barn doors we can close in case we're mad at each other", I said out loud "What happens when you're mad at each other?". That cracked me up but surely they have thought things through.

    Hey Brian do you have any recommendations to buy edger blades in bulk eight or 9 inch with half inch center hole thanks

  • @Jraksdhs
    @Jraksdhs 2 ปีที่แล้ว

    Absolutely should have house wrapped that building even if you were doing spray foam. But considering it is being sprayed, the house wrapped would have been mandatory. You don’t want the foam adhering directly to the metal because when the sun heats that steel up, it’s going to want to expand. That foam has the potential to locked the panels preventing it from moving. That’s going to cause buckling and wrinkling.
