Try and not take all too many cards, I notice your deck consists of 37 cards. Only take the cards you need, you will see per fight if you lack AoE, raw/pure damage or if you need more blocks. Generally speaking if you are playing a run with the defect you will be playing low and slow with power cards or frosts+blizzard which both mean you would not need to take too much damage cards. Of course do find out what fits you and what the run brings you. Keep on slaying the spire bud!
