Base models for all manufacturers could be even cheaper if they didn't include all the surveillance tech. Just give me analog gauges, real knobs to twist and buttons to push. I don't need or want: always-on Wi-Fi, a unique Bluetooth address, or built in GPS. MSRPs could drop quite a bit without all this unnecessary crap.
Welcome back, the $29.995 base model. Oh, wait. $39.995 base model. Thank you Ford for making us feel like we're getting a real deal. Feelings > reality.
I'm a lifelong Wrangler owner. I dig the Bronco. Unfortunately, these auto manufacturers (especially Jeep) are trying to reset what we all think of as a "base model price." It ain't gonna work, Ford/Stellantis! We're not as dumb as you think we are. $40K for a base model Bronco and Wrangler is ridiculous. We're not getting $40K worth of value.
😂😂😂……How on earth is the Base more ‘affordable’.. $37k before taxes n fees..Yeah I built a 2025 Base and I was up to almost 50k and that is WITHOUT the option to have the Aux Switches. I’m so happy with my 2023 2door Big Bend, Sandstone interior, tow package, Aux Switches, Modular bumper and SAS..for less than a similar 2025 built Base.
$40K when the BRONCO Came out - the base was $28k - so the base model is more than this current years upscaled mid range model. No wonder sales are slumping at ford.
I was excited about the base model coming back until I saw the price! Such a disappointment! For 40,000 you can get so much more with a Jeep. Or you could buy a base Jeep for way less.
Looking at Ford's website, for 2024 the "base" model appears to be the Big Bend edition. It sells for $39,630 and has a host of standard equipment. For 2025 Ford introduces a "base" model that is going to cost $39k+ but doesn't have the equipment list of the current "base" model. But the new base model is more gooder for cosumers; right Ford?
Time to rant. TOO MUCH ELECTRONICS IN MODERN VEHICLES!!!! MAKES THEM EXPENSIVE, AND EXPENSIVE TO MAINTAIN. When a base model Bronco lists at 40K I have closed the book on EVER buying a new vehicle again. P.S. At least Ford is offering a MANUAL TRANSMISSION in this truck. Thank God. Are you paying attention GM and... is it Chrysler?
Its very cheap looking. Too much plastics. This should not be above 60K loaded. Did I say too much plastics? The Jeep Wrangler is also all plastics, and RIDICULOUSLY priced too.

But those things only cost the consumer more. Profit will be lost.
Those of us still not living in the 1970s, would like Bluetooth & cameras in our cars. Go buy a baseline Kia is you want to go back in time.
I totally agree. Probably be 10,000 cheaper. All these electronic items are gonna fail.
And also rubber flooring manual windows and manual transmission. And above all no stop and start. I would consider one.
The check engine light is on from the factory awesome.
These new Bronco's are real POS, dependability and build quality wise.

I remember when they first announced the Bronco base was around 25,000 to 27,000 and couldn't even get the Bronco because of demand very disappointed
Base model 29k to 39k 😂 f that
Agreed. Sheesh...
Are people now days so poor they can't understand $30k is a baseline vehicle? I'm surrounded by Kia owners!
@@donwyoming1936 when they came out they were supposed to be 29k for a base model.its not being poor just not wanting to spend 40k on a base model.
Almost 40k for base model ? F Ford and your bronco, I’ll keep my money. Big 3 thinks most people are stupid, not me though.
That’s because most people ARE stupid.
So, you're more of a Kia guy than a Ford guy. I get it.
The new gauges are a big improvement
Geez just $40k for the base - Not.
Makes me feel like my '22 2 Dr Black Diamond at $38K ordered July 2020 was a steal. Manual, Wheel upgrade, and Steel Modular Bumper.
I want one of these sooooooooo bad. 2 door in either green or black with the retro stripe package. I just wish they had actual gauges though.
I just bought a black 4 door big bend bronco almost 2 weeks ago now for 50k, I love my car but man these prices are getting up there.
They are awesome but too much money for the base.

Low quality high prices
Hey! I know that guy! 😊
Seriously though, great to hear that a base model is available again.
Yeah, if it was at base model price. And a 4 banger with a turbo? Eh, too bad FoMoCo don't make the 300 I-6 anymore.
they brought back the base trim, but not the base MSRP lol
That Stroppe Edition is off the charts !
3-years ago the price for a 2Dr Base was 29,995.
Welcome back base model
Great review, Aaron.
More Affordable ???

Still out of my league price-wise.
As a ford technician every soccer dad needs one.of these
$40k for the base model!?
Insane.
the base used to cost 27k four years ago... what a rip off
Good move Ford. A base Wrangler is pushing $40k and I will take the capability of the Bronco over the Jeep.
For 40K I’ll take my Forrester Touring thank you.
Ha! 2024 big bend is $39k. Way to go ford! 😒
Exactly! Wtf ford
too expensive for the base model :(
Give me a base Bronco for 30 to 35k and I’m in.
Base model $10K too high. Not interested!
Theyre not fog lamps if they are clear.
Dealer lots are full of unsold Broncos 😢
NO DEISAL???
Time to rant.

Ford is going dumb with these prices
so how many of these are still on dealer lots after months and months? eating into jeep sales, really?
Well I don’t see that many here in Tucson Arizona! I see a ton of jeep’s and Toyota tacos, 4Runner’s!
so expensive and dealer markups, no thanks
40k for computer crap and plastic. Ford lost it's mind!!!how about 10k about what it's worth!!!!

Same unreliability. Hell no
