This sweater looks absolutely beautiful, and for doing it in such a short time, really impressed with how quickly you knit so much 😮 The exact kind of video that was perfect for working a couple of rows on a cardigan ❤
Great job on your Salty Days Sweater. Yes, you definitely can get first sleeve syndrome when you burn out. It turned out beautiful and looks great on you.
I enjoyed this project vlog sooooo much! I've yet to start my own salty days because I'm intimidated by the pattern but you made it seem so easy. Would love to see more content from you x
I knit this sweater as well and it was the most complicated and intricate piece I’ve ever knit but I’m SO happy with how mine turned out! I had to re-do the diamond part like 13 times IN THE ROUND 😭😭😭. I used a dusty pink and a sparkly light pink mohair! 😍
I hate sleeves so bad that I do them as soon as I get the body joined. If it’s a pattern where you knit 4 pieces I’ll do the sleeves first thing even before I cast on first front or back.🧶
Thank you for the great video. I'm currently knitting The salty days sweater from kutovakika and sadly I have a big problem. I have the right number of stitches beginning Chart C. I have attempted twice, but cannot seem to get what needs to be done on Round 5 in Chart C. To me this is the trickiest part of the pattern so far, so I am disappointed that the tutorial, which has been wonderful, does not address this step at all. I cannot figure out what I’m doing wrong. Any help would be appreciated.
Hey! I know exactly what you mean and I had to be super careful with round 5. What I ended up doing was following the note in the pattern. So the first pattern repeat of round 5 starts with K2tog, yarn over, knit st 3-7, yarn over, then repeat that chart pattern until the last st before the BOR marker (there should be one st left after repeating the chart however many times in your size, so your last move should've been a yarn over), k1 tbl, remove the BOR marker, transfer the next st from the left needle to right needle (the k2tog from beginning of round), pull the k1tbl over the k2tog on the right needle, transfer this new st onto the left needle, place BOR marker back onto the right needle, then work round 6. Hope this helps! and let me know if you have any more questions:)
7 days to knit a sweater - that is crazy ambitious! It turned out so beautifully and I'm glad you decided to slow down and enjoy the process.
Thanks for demonstrating the continguous shoulder construction. I have never seen this method until just recently.
I love your filmimg style. The clip of the yarn ball getting used up was really cool!
Your videos are such a vibe. I'm knitting my first sweater and it was so nice to just zone out and knit with you.
