Me wanting to cast on a striped sweater for fall (cream and burnt orange) seeing this vid and thinking "perfect timing this will inspire me, maybe the wave pattern will be fun!" And then "its so boring, its sooo boring" LOL
I love that you were really drawn to those colors and those exact colors are behind you on that tapestry that's draped over something. 😂 even the heather color is there.
i wish this was more of a tut instead of like a crochet w me as much as i like this cuz you're the ONLY person i found whose done this but added RIBBING which is the look i want QAQ
yesterday i started my first sweater (the star sweater from coraline) as a beginner for fall! im nervous that ill mess up and have to frog the whole thing, but seeing your vids helps me relax and inspire me to finish my first wearable project! i love your sweater, the colors match you and themselves perfectly :)
@@aoibheee2165 to be honest, i dont know yet 😅 ig ill find out when the time comes. i think im going to try to sew them on normally as you would anything else
@aoibheee2165 hi! I dont know if you still need info on this or not but the best way yo do this would probably be to make the stars separate and sew them on after the panels for the actually sweater are done, then putting all the panels together. You could do it after, but it might be a bit more difficult on the sleeves
There are clock in apps that can track your time for you and have a break option when you want to take a break or get food of you want to be more accurate with your time keeping! I had to use one for an assignment at school and maybe it can make your life a bit easier!
No way! Because like the SAME EXACT THING is happening to me in a striped sweater right now. All the yarn should be the same yardage and I haven’t used any more of one color than another but I am running out of one single color and the rest are fine! Why?! Your ending sweater is super cute!
One of the loveliest things about creating is how you can make such unique items with totally different vibes, despite having the same base. Your colour combi makes the sweater look so cosy!! I recently started crocheting a ripple stitch sweater in blue tones and the plan is to add sealife themed appliques to it !
did you use a tutorial/ pattern for your sweater? and if you did can you tell me where you found it? i want a sweater exactly like this but i need a guide on how to do it🥲
@@cristeenuh4265 I bought my pattern from Adventures in Crafting. It does use UK terminology, but it’s fairly easy to follow. I would say intermediate beginner. They do have instructions on how to straighten off the edges so it makes it easier to join. I did have some confusion on the shoulder/neckline part on how many stitches I need to do, so I kinda winged it.
I never noticed before that you hold the hook to the outside. That's kinda neat. It's always fun seeing how everyone crochets differently just based on how they hold their hooks. Still watching, but I'm loving this so far! It looks very cozy!
I've been so busy with school and work that I've missed your past few videos - but that means more for me to binge since I have the time! I'm so excited to watch all of these!!! I love how the sweater looks!!!
oh my! ur just right on time.. I'm currently making one for myself and I can't figure it out if I should make a top or sweater.. this is a sign for me to make a sweater for sure.. loving the rippled stitch a lot lately aha
Hey! I really wanted to try making this for a trip I'm about to go on, but I'm a beginner and I'm not sure how to make the cuffs, collar, or the wavy pattern. Did you already make/post a tutorial or a pattern? If so, can anyone link it under this comment please? I'm going to get yarn colors for this tomorrow and I want to make sure I know how to make this!! Thank you so much and the sweater is beautiful! P.S: Even though you said that it was a boring pattern, I knew it'd probably be fun for me because I'm a beginner and you're an amazing experienced crocheter!
It looks amazing. I'm going to make long pants in the wavy stitch. I've never attempted the ripple or chevron stitch because I had never seen anything I liked in that pattern. I've got the brown and cream wool stashed away. No burnt orange. Red will have to do. Promised myself I'm not buying anymore wool until I've used up what I've got.
Im so glad you are making this because im in the process of making a wavy sweater rn(mine is 7 colours and each colour is done for two rows) and ive been wondering how it should be connected so it feels like you've read my mind and came to me like a crochet angel to save me from dispair On another note your colour choices are impeccable(pun intended!!) as usual and everything came out gorgeously, it fits you and your aesthetic so well!! Love this and love you 🧡🧡
I love your hair color and i was supposed to make the rose sweater but i never have ripple sweater and i have these yarns in weird color❤ im gonna try this
i’m currently making a patchwork sweater, all of the patches are just hdc for 18 rows, and i have to make 60 squares, 20 of each, and it’s so boring so i relate to this right now 😭
So pretty ! Thank you for sharing❤ i wanted to ask you, is the sweater not heavy, overall? Its weight #4. But Impecable yarn are soft though, compared to Red Heart or Craftsmart. Everytime i make mine using worsted wt, they are heavy. What are your thougths? Thank you so much 🙏
I love heavy bulky sweaters, but this one is actually lighter than my other sweaters!I think it’s because i used a double crochet stitch instead of a single. Sometimes a single crochet stitch can make the sweater more dense and feel a little heavier. Hope that helps!😊
Repetitive stitches seem to have the best result. I have to tell myself not to switch it up, because it'll look prettier if I persevere in the repetitive stitch.
I agree with what you said about doing pattern part I've still not finished a blanket in the same pattern and it takes forever and is very tedious to keep counting all the time 😅
Just wondering, do you stitch the sleeves together vertically and then attach them to the sweater panels or do you attach them all as rectangles first? If that makes sense
I know you have shown us before, but can you do a tutorial on your ribbing technique? All the others do it flat or in a circle then attach it to the garment. I have only seen you do it the way you do. I need to learn.
I will try and remember to make a quick video the next time i need to make them! But i think in a few of my very early crochet sweaters (late 2021/early 2022) i did show how do them 😊
Me wanting to cast on a striped sweater for fall (cream and burnt orange) seeing this vid and thinking "perfect timing this will inspire me, maybe the wave pattern will be fun!" And then "its so boring, its sooo boring" LOL
😂 even though crocheting it was boring, I’ll probably do it again!!! Just cause i love how it turned out!
@@michelle_jasek it does look amazing🧡
Ughhhh would love if you did a tutorial for this one its soo prettyy

I made two blankets with this stitch, and I agree, IT IS A BORING STITCH! So glad I'm not alone! lol!

The star sweater from coraline is something that i want to make too! I bet yours is going to be great 😊
I’m just about to start a coraline sweater too! How are you going to add your stars

Your sweaters are adorable love them. Keep up the great tutorials. Love your color combinations. ❤😊😊
That sweater is FANTASTIC 🧶🧶🧶, the ribbing really makes it all pop together. 😃👏👏👏
I literally just finished a ripple sweater just like this on Friday. 😆 I did Beetlejuice-esque colors of pale grey, slime green, and black.
did you use a tutorial/ pattern for your sweater? and if you did can you tell me where you found it? i want a sweater exactly like this but i need a guide on how to do it🥲

This is also my fave item you’ve done this year!
I’m watching this as I make my first hexagon cardigan, what a great vid!
That’s so smart to finish at the bottom!
i've been loving the ripple stitch lately!! currently making a blanket with it
Very cute. It looks comfy like a favorite sweatshirt.

Amazing. Can’t wait for the written pattern😮❤❤

Love the sweater. Those colors look soooo good together. You're always an inspiration.❤
Good job! I had my doubts about the rubbing on the bottom, but it ended up looking great. Definitely the right call.
Love the colors & squiggles!

I finally pulled the trigger and got yarn for a fall sweater. This video may or may not be the reason I decided to lol
This sweater is so cool!
It is a super cute sweater and you look great in it. I’ve been wanting to do a ripple stitch sweater as well; you’ve inspired me to get started.
Love your channel you make gorgeous things. ❤❤🎃🎃
I love it!! Sooo cute ❤❤❤
Was the cream/ off white used in the starting chain? That would be my guess as to where the missing yarn was.
I love your hair color and i was supposed to make the rose sweater but i never have ripple sweater and i have these yarns in weird color❤ im gonna try this
Great job! Also LOVE the coat you showed at the end!!❤
Girl I can't wait mooooore
i love it so much! you just convinced me to make this project to, its so cute!
I’m making this finally in a coral, mint and cream color
So stinking cute!! I love it!! ❤❤
Love the look of this sweater! When will the pattern be up? :)
I ❤ your hook holder!
Really beautiful! I also think it would have been equally as good with no cuffs or ribbing. Just a different look.
I love it!!! It's really cute. Nicely done. ❤
I love this! It came out so well! Now the only question is what colors do I want to make it in?
I love this sweater! You did a great job!
I sew a little button onto the back instead of a tag! Plus it’s a fun little secret
Pleeeeeeeease do a tutorial video for us? ❤ I love the way you teach and I can't find a video on YT that I can learn from 😂
Cet assortiment de couleurs est superbe ! Le pull est magnifique. Bravo !
This is so adorable!!! I love the colors!! 🎃❤️
it's so darn cute I've started making my own!! I have a question thought: how did you do the ribbing evenly on the stitch? do you have any advice?

Someone else who hates gossip girl! Yay! I'm not the only 1
Love this ❤ I need to make I just recently bought the same colour yarn 🤓
I agree with what you said about doing pattern part I've still not finished a blanket in the same pattern and it takes forever and is very tedious to keep counting all the time 😅
Do you have a pattern for this lovely? Beautiful work!❤❤❤
loveeee the sweater! how many balls of yarn did you end up using?
I mentioned how much yarn i used near the end of the video 😊

Hi! Before I join patreon for the pattern could you let me know if you include info for larger sizes? Thank you!
How do you do the ribbing so the sleeves, bottom, and collar arent wavy?
Honestly i thought they would be wavy when i made them. But i did them the same as i would do any other project and they turned out straight!
Does anyone know what brand of hooks she is using?? The sparkle handles are so cute!
one sweater for me ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
where can I get the full pattern?????
Can you please explain how you got the collar not rippled? I’m stuck on it 😭
Does anyone know where the pattern is posted?
(whispering) "quick crochet minute ".
how many grams of yarn did you use?
Wishing this wash an actual tutorial
love your sweater, why dont you have a ravery page ? love to follow u there
Lol the reason I prefer knitting over crochet is crochet has too much counting lmao
Did you ever show in this video how to make the sweater ???? So much talk
this is not a tutorial video she's just showing
