Like I told you I’ve watched all your videos and a few of them multiple times. But wow, you have out done yourself on this one. Great content and brings back so many memories. I’ve ridden those roads so many times. Thank you so much for this one, 🥰.
Yep, not far out of Grayson. I considered stopping in a campground there. I thinks it’s Daniel Boon National Forest. But I wasn’t ready to stop. Outpost was a nice stop. And the BBQ place just down the road was awesome too.
You have captivating way of storytelling. WV is a beautiful place to ride. I've been on 219 a couple of times. And I've stopped at White Sulpher Springs to check out the Barnwood Builders shop.
Very kind words. Thank you. I’m trying to get better at that. I’ve not been to the Barnyard Builders place but I’ve loved their shows and would like to meet those guys and look around. White Sulpher Springs is a nice town. (The Greenbriar Resort would be an awesome stay!)
Excellent video, watched it twice with many pauses! You just keep getting better at this video thing. You're riding area is amazing, will have to visit my dauther in Spring Hill and take in some of those roads.
Thanks John! I’m certainly trying to add some polish when I can. I’m trying also to see what it is that people enjoy viewing. Travel videos don’t tend to get many views. Reviews do but maybe that’s because they are searchable by model.
Next time you head to WV I expect a invite. ..😂 It wouldn't take me long to get down to TN from Southern Illinois to meet up! Of course the wife will be with me.... that's grounds for divorce going to WV without her. That's the Best vid you have put out since I subscribed to your TH-cam channel. God Bless Brother!
Awe man, thanks! I really appreciate it. This one meant a lot to me! That would be cool with me! I’m trying to get better at this. A work in progress! So glad you enjoyed it!
Absolutely! From the switchbacks in Pendleton County that go through the mountains to Elkins, all the way through Buckhannon, following the river. Some of the BEST in the entire country!
@michaellynch3725 of course I’m familiar with those areas. From Elkins originally. Went to school in Winter Park FL and met my wife while working on the ships in Miami. I hope to winter in FL for as much as possible, although my wife isn’t as keen on it. Any recommendations?
You should have gone up Rt. 19 up to Rt. 60 ( east or west) some of the best riding around,, if you would have gone east you could have taken it to White Sulphur Springs ( The Greenbrier) ,, beautiful area and riding all the way ,,, BTW ,, I was born in the hospital they pronounced Hank Williams dead,, most of my family is in the New River area.
Great video man. You’ve got me hungry to ride my 2023 Chieftain. It’s still a little too cold here in Vermont. I am really curious. Does your Springfield seem slow now that you have a new pursuit?
Thanks! I’m with you on the cold. Spring can’t get here fast enough!! As for the Springfield, no it doesn’t feel slow at all. In fact, I wish the Pursuit was geared more like the Thunderstroke down low. Now as for 75 mph or more, the Pursuit is smoother up there. Several “dislikes” had me questioning my original opinion when out in California on my initial Pursuit test. It’s not lacking, bad or anything like that. It’s just that the Thunderstroke has a grunt that I really like. And the gearing is paired well for it. The stock tuning for the Pursuit is nice but it doesn’t have the same character of the Springfield. And that’s why I felt the need to keep both.
Hi I'm Wayne! I live in the Hedgesville WV area and am looking for a good friend or friends that like to ride motorcycles (especially ADV motorcycles), go fishing, camping, back road and trail riding, exploring, or just hanging out with like minded people! If you or anyone you know needs a good friend, like I do, and is interested in getting out of the house and going on some adventures please let me know!
Hey Wayne, Funny you mention ADV bikes because I just picked one up. I’ve not had much experience yet with them but I do want to get out and have some adventures on it! I visit WV but I’m based in TN. But I’m game for a ride, camping when I get back. You have favorite roads or other places you’d recommend?
@@AnywhereRider The Blue Ridge Parkway is always a nice ride up into VA, then into WV I would suggest Berkeley Springs, rt 50 west towards Romney and Kyser WV! The Cumberland valley up in MD is beautiful as well! Ride safe! Let me know if you're ever in the area!
@@WaynerWayneTheIllest I hope to get back. I may spend a week or so in early September. I haven’t yet done Blue Ridge so that’s on my list of to Do’s WVU is loaded with great rides. Always good to go home
@@WaynerWayneTheIllest I haven’t yet tried a KLR. But the most important thing is to find what you love and you have! I have a triumph Tiger 1200 Rally Explorer. Lots to learn on that big bike!

Love this video. Best one yet.
Too bad we couldn’t arrange the schedule for you to go. Maybe next time!
That Outpost Campground looks interesting because it's about an hour from my cousin's in Grayson. I remember riding US-60 through WVA back in the day.
