I discovered your channel 5hours ago. Still can't believe my luck.
Not even GDC has such informational and clear videos. I hope you keep making these.

Thanks Alec. I hope my marketing tips help your game succeed. DM if you get stuck, I'll be glad to help, no cost. Helping game devs gives me better content, so it's a win-win.

How the F*** does this guy only have 93 subscribers yet? What a crime....
Mate, I'm devouring your videos, absolutely sensational. Can't thank you enough for the work you put into these gems.

Just want to say that this video is so helpful and way more informative than other videos I watched about steam capsule and graphics etc. Pls keep making informative videos like this. Very helpful for small indie devs like me.

You deserve more than 68 subscribers, that's a damn crime!

ahahh... it should be at least two years in prison if you watch and not sub. Thanks for your support!

Just a heads up, that you cut too early and end up saying "quality" twice at the 50 second mark.

I think my comment got deleted because I posted a link.
I love the video, it has a lot of amazing information. I'm working on capsules and I was basically asking if you could provide some feedback on my capsules

my main problem im having is none of my images can be a good size they all get scaled down and you can see the individual pixels because they require such a small image

Ya, i know exactly what you mean. I'm gonna make a video about this... but what you'll have to do is, you'll have to make different versions for each capsule image depending on it's size. For example, search "Elden Ring" on Steam.. and you'll notice in the search, they use a different capsule image. I.e. For the very small capslule imaeg, they just use the "Elden Ring" logo. You'll have to do something similar. But like I said, gonna make a video on this with more details on what to do. Thanks for bringing it up!

I did not watch any tutorial, because I knew it what is a capsule when see them in steam. Yes, just need a picture background, the logo and the main character or even some enemy from your game as a alpha image and import it on background layered on that background. I don't understand why other developers pay an artist with big money for that😅
