@Alex68dash I know this im a mechanic I'm talking about the engine itself you can take a 13 ls 5.3 and put it in a 99 to 02 no issue the only difference is throttle delay and torque management depending on the year and trans the big difference is in 09 they put way better rods and pistons in them the best one is the lc9 leaps and bounds above the lm7 its all aluminum and can handle way more power but only in its stock form I'm an ls nerd man
