      You better replace your battery on the board so that you do keep losing programming.

    Your videos have been really helpful. Thanks for making them! I have the same machine and everytime it gets unplugged the price go to .50. I was told this means it needs a new battery but for the life of me I can't seem to find where the battery is. Any help would be appreciated.

      Glad you enjoy the videos. The battery on a GIII machine will look like a yellow or black rectangle chip on the control board. It should say something like "timekeeper" or "lithium" on it. Use a chip puller to pull the battery off. You can order new ones online.

    Do you have a video of spaces to sales on a Dixie narco?

    • @HappyVending
      @HappyVending  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      There really isn't a need for STS on a Dixie because they usually have the same number of columns as they do selection switches and there is no need to make one switch work two columns.

    Hey bill, I have a vendo 576 Pepsi machine that keeps jamming the 12 oz can on one column. What do you think could be my problem??? Thanks for the vids!!

    • @HappyVending
      @HappyVending  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I do not have any Vendo machines so I really can't help you on this one. I'm not sure if those machines use can shims. If so, are you using the correct shim? Also, could the rotor be bent or worn? Does anything look different on that column compared to the other columns? You should post a question on the vendiscuss.net message board. There are people there that use Vendos and can help troubleshoot your problem.

    I have a royal too, do you know if there is a way to keep all your machine sets up when a power outage happen because I always have to set up everything again when that happen.

    • @HappyVending
      @HappyVending  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      You need to replace the backup battery on your control board. It looks like a black or yellow rectangle circuit. Use a chip puller to remove it. It will probably say "timekeeper" on it.

    Hey , thanks for the helpful videos. Not sure if you’ll see this comment but when I change to make my STS custom, it often times out as if I’m taking too long , what do I do ?

    • @HappyVending
      @HappyVending  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      What type of machine do you have? Are you sure it's timing out and you're just not pressing the wrong button?

    • @MeetThePrinces
      @MeetThePrinces 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Royal Vending 660-9 GIII . At first it lets me change the STS and out of the blue it’s say 6714 1-4 and I hear the bill acceptor making noise

    • @HappyVending
      @HappyVending  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@MeetThePrinces So the machine appears to be reseting because that number is the eprom version of the board and that only comes up when the machine resets. Maybe the door switch is going bad and it is behaving like someone closed the door. However, when that happens, the bill acceptor should not be making noise. That usually only happens when someone powers up the machine. There could be a loose power connector going to the control board. You should unplug the machine and check all your connectors. You should also look for broken or loose ground connectors.

    My main seller (coca-cola) in column 1 and 7 stopped being responsive when you press the button on my Dasani Royal machine. I'm hoping that your tutorial here will help fix that issue for me as it randomly stopped being responsive when you press the button. Even when you don't input $1, when I press the button it doesn't even show the $1 price. It just acts as if I never pressed anything at all and continue to scroll "ice cold"

    • @HappyVending
      @HappyVending  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Does all the other selections work in the machine? It sounds like the selection switch might have gone bad. You can try swapping the switch with selection 2 to see if the problem follows the switch. If it does, just get a couple switches from Royal so that you have some extras.

    • @melodybee6039
      @melodybee6039 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes. All the other selections work fine. I opened my snack door and it accidentally hit the coke button and knocked off the clear plastic coating and the small flat white button. I popped it back in the button but it was unresponsive after that

    • @HappyVending
      @HappyVending  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@melodybee6039 Yeah...probably the switch. Like I said, swap it with another to confirm...then just by some replacement switches.

    • @HappyVending
      @HappyVending  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It says "sold out"? If it is always saying sold out, you may need to adjust your drop sensor or replace it.

    when the coin collector is empty it takes a coin and when it is full it does not take coins the machine model in a royal 660-9 which would be the problem...

    • @HappyVending

      Do you mean the coins go directly to the coin return tray?

    How do I reset the sold out error on one of my products I just filled it AMD it said s sold out

    • @HappyVending
      @HappyVending  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      The sold out display should reset once you open the door of the vending machine. If it is not resetting, you may have a bad door switch. It is an easy repair, just order a new switch from royal.
