I have a Royal as well, but it start to fail, take money and can make any selection but product dont come out… drive chain runs but only one direction, doesnt go on direction where levers release the product. Do you know what the problem could be? Thanks in advance
I have a vending machine that only takes $1 bills but I have items that are up to $1.75 how do I get it to accept multiple $1 bills bc not everyone has loose change and it’s only accepting one $1 bill
Is your bill escrow enabled or disabled? You can try disabling it so that the machine takes in all the dollars to the bill stack. Since you have a price set to over 1 dollar, it should take in the second dollar.
Andra' What type of machine do you have? I had this same issue on a Seaga and had to set the price of all items to $3.00 then go back through and individually set each item to the the correct price. The machine now allows up to $3 in credit

Are you having any issues finding $1 coins at the banks? Here in Muncie, IN, I am unable to find banks who carry them, and if you want to order them, you have to order them 1000 at a time.
Yes...most banks do not have any dollar coins right now. Luckily, there is one bank near me that seems to be able to get them. I'm looking at getting a bill recycler to cut down on the need for dollar coins.
Unfortunately I did not record myself changing the board. It wasn't too hard. Just unplug the machine...remove the plastic cover. Take a picture of the board before you remove any connectors so that you remember where everything plugs in. Carefully remove all the plugs. Pull the board off the plastic standoffs. Put the new board in and reconnect everything.
Hi, Like you vids very informative, I have a problem with a dixie narco 501 Dn are you able to give any advice i put lets say $2 in to buy soda $1,60 gives me back change 40c but then also holds 40c on display but also disables machine for 2 minutes thks Mossy Australia
@@mossy8273 Ok...so it could have always had this problem. Could be the control board...but try posting your issue on the vendiscuss.net forum and see what others say. I use Royals more than Dixie Narcos so I'm not the best person to diagnose this one.

Did you try swapping out the coin mech with a known working one? Has this always been a problem with this machine or did it just start happening?

Maybe it's not tuned for new 5s. Does it say 2008 compliant on it?
