  • On a mission to rid society of its most repellent citizens, terminally ill Frank makes an unlikely accomplice in 16-year-old Roxy. They go to an American Superstar (American Idol Parody) Finale and do things that are illegal.

I love this movie. To me it feels like a cinematic revenge against (almost) everything that's wrong with society...

Completely agree! In fact, the basic concept of the movie is about how others constantly find enjoyment due to someone else's misery. There's so many things wrong with the world, one of them is how entertainment constantly perpetuates this idea of being negative to one another. Hell you can even see that on youtube (I'm looking at the trolls). But for what it's worth, yes society as a whole should learn to treat others with respect, not just toleration.

People, this is a satire about hate and misconception in society, if you find yourself agreeing, even partially, with the man in the movie, you are not alone. Most people with a brain have issues with society. But in my opinion there will always be stupid ignorant people in one way or another, and yes it makes the world a shit place to live in, but there is plenty of good in this world too

This movie is way too relevant nowadays. I keep on being reminded of a quote from the Novel Altered Carbon. “There are some arenas so corrupt that the only clean acts possible are nihilistic.”

True. The gun vendor exactly falls into the category of everything Frank despises. I was amazed he was allowed to live. Maybe it was because the gun vendor was at least honest about his evil ways, I dunno though.

    "Anyone who disagrees with you"?
Hey, genius; the movie wasn't about Frank going on a killing spree of people who "disagreed" with him. It was a movie about Frank going on a killing spree of the ignorant, belligerent, conniving insects our society is plagued with. And I'm not saying I want to do exactly what he did, since the ramifications of such a heinous act make it not worth it in the end.
I do agree with you on one thing, though. Future generations are going to be just as bad as this one.

It sucks that they died period. I mean the man gives a heartfelt speech about the evil in our society and how we super-glorify it for Television Audiences, and perpetuate evil influences, but sadly, our society as hypocritical as it is, will casually immediately label such "Enlightened" types like Frank and Roxy as criminals because they kill others to prove a point.

Why? Because he has it in a suitcase? LOL there are tons of movies where people bring in guns in suitcases.... If frank had looked in the mirror and quoted "are you talking to me" then made a spring loaded attachment onto his arm then fair enough. But on taxi driver he asks for a 44 magnum....only similarity is they have guns in a suitcase.

The story is being told by the Frank's perspective, Who thinks he is not everybody else. About a sociopath who could have changed his life, but instead took the easyest one. And as we can see in the end - nobody really gave a fuck about his motives as they are no excuse for his crimes.. The movie is bood only for it's theory of how sochippathic maniacs are born.
