@@arikheglund1051 Spidey did have a small cameo in one episode of X-Men then in Spidey's animated series, there was a crossover episode. They even got back the X-Men voice cast for that too! And Storm also had a later reappearance in a later Spider-Man episode as well. Edit: I forgot that the X-Men crossover episode of Spider-Man was a two parter!
Gotta say, RIP to Cyclops OG actor (Even X-Men Evolution's Scott is gone too) and Magneto's OG actor too. The new replacements are bang on, and they get to work eith the original actors alongside them, plus new ones because Alyson Court chose not to play Jubilee, but a new character in the seires.
Lenore Zann returning as the voice Rogue is *everything*! I was only 6 when the original series started in '92 (it's called '97 because that's when it would have aired if this was actually the 6th season) - and Rogue was an awakening in me. And Lenore Zann's voice was no small part in that. Really excited to watch this with my daughter.
Goddamn....I love how DBZ sparking Zero and Xmen announced their return in the same way. The way they use those classic fat TV screens we all grew up watching stuff on with glimpses of Footage of the classic footage before switching to the new stuff to come. So good
Indeed. If they truly wanted to be comic accurate, this baby would be Nate Grey, a.k.a "X-Man," who originated in the Age of Apocalypse storyline. Or, I guess it could be Rachel Summers too. lol

This Makes me want Spider-Man: The Animated Series season 6 even more. After that teased ending in 5. From the 90's. Even the show creator said he would like to Finnish it
Hopefully they can revive Cyclops popularity in this day and age. Back in the day Cyclops was my favorite team leader type character, but then Hugh Jackman made Wolverine the popular one in the live actions and Scott was turned into a whiny jealous bf.
I am HYPED! I grew up with the X-Men cartoon which had the greatest intro song in history. I was also really deep into the trading cards. The artwork on those cards was amazing and I remember getting the "limited edition" holographic puzzle cards which were awesome. Inject this nostalgia into my veins!!

They'd more likely go with X-Cutioner's Song, Fatal Attractions (don't know how they wold pull this one considering it seems like Magneto would be taking over Charles' place for a while), maybe re-introduce the cosmic side of the X-Men with the Shi'ar and Charles' return. Perhaps Operation Zero Tolerance, The Phalanx Covenant, and Age of Apocalypse along the way? I kinda doubt they'd do the more recent events in the comics as it may not align with the 90s theme of the show but we'll see I guess.
@@BrokenNoah Technically they did the Phalanx Covenant as a two-parter in S5. The comic version is better because there's more build up to it. Like A LOT of build up from prior events like X-Tinction Agenda, and the whole backstory with Cameron Hodge (which was never really played out in the animated series), and his relationship with X-Factor, especially one Warren Worthington III (which ties into Angel becoming Death / Archangel in the original run).

I really please hope they do this as well for Spiderman! I just finished Season 5 of Spiderman and was sad that it never ended and had a cliffhanger 😢 Peter never got to reunite with MJ! 😮 i would love to see that continue
That isnt Jean thats Pregnant, it's Madelyn Pryor. A clone of Jean made by Mr Sinister. In the comics, Cyclops marries and has a child with Madelyn, sometime after Jean's presumed death. While he was taken aback by their uncanny resemblance, Cyclops was unaware of Sinister's scheme. Their child, Nathaniel Summers, would grow up to become Cable.
One movie if you guys haven't seen is the Lego movie, I expected it to be a cashgrab corporate movie back in the day. But it's charming and funny story made it one of my most favorite movies of all time. The animation makes it even better than ever
3 years ago i subscribed to disney+ just so i could watch this series in order ( it was shown out of order in uk) I HIGHLY recommend you watch it at some point. when people of my age think about X-men.. it is this series they think of.

Hopefully if this one succeeds, maybe we could get them to revive the Spider-Man animated series as well. They did reference the Bugle, so maybe it could be a possibility
Nice to see that they brought back several of the original voice actors and got similar sounding people for most of the other roles. Really helps this be a continuation of the original. Some of the voices were a bit off, but surprisingly at least one of them was the original voice actor, just apparently couldn't get the performance out of his voice a quarter decade later... go figure.
Yeah..but the thing is, Xavier DIDN'T die in the last episode. He was ABOUT to die and then Lilandra came and took him back to the Shi'ar where he would be able to live...he just couldn't stay on Earth, for whatever weird reason. I'm hoping that they're just playing it as though he died for the sake of appearances and all that legal stuff that comes with the transferring of property etc.

This was my childhood but idk if I have hope in them doing this right, especially current Disney and the creators drama surrounding this. This show was how I got into X-Men, how I knew about the other heroes from Marvel, this and Spider-Man 90s animated series on Fox Kids. Silver Surfer, all of that. They need to get this right.
I want this to be good. But when was the last time Disney got anything right? All they do is wear other people's Intellectual Property like a skin suit.

If they could adapt The Adventures Of Cyclops & Phoenix into an arc, that would be amazing. SPOILER : : The baby of Scott Summer and Madelyn Pryor (Jean's clone), Nathan Summers, is infected by the techno-organic virus by Apocalypse. A mutant from the Clan Askani takes baby Nathan into the future in an attempt to cure him. Years later Scott and Jean are telepathically transported into the same future to raise Nathan and teach him how to use his powers. The future is a world in which Apocalypse has taken over and is looking for a host body with specific power to take over before his body is burned to ash.
I look forward to checking it out. But I'll believe it when I see it. This isn't the 90s anymore. The rules have changed. And when was the last time Disney respected the source material/inspirational material
