Morph gets all the abilities and powers of the people he changes into (like he did with Collossus and Psylocke)? Wouldn't that make him the most powerful being in the world?
This X-Men is a multiverse version. Not the universe we watched as a child. Similar things happened in the X-Men 97 universe but Storm and Morph are different.

@@pkt86737Nope. Hickman made her omega in 2019. She was never one in the years prior. The validity of Hickman's opinion starts from the time he took the reins for X-Men writing, not before. Let's not rewrite comic book history just because one man said so. If it didn't happen, then it didn't happen. She wasn't omega in the 90s, far from it. She wasn't even officially classified as alpha-level, only rumored to be. Back then, it was only Jean and Bobby who were the only X-Men members to be officially classified as omega. Also back then, being omega-level truly meant something, as only the genuinely powerful made the cut, not wannabes. Storm made the cut into the omega club along with many others in HoXPoX only in 2019 and that's a fact. Not that it means anything now since every other mutant and their mother have been made it into the omega classification.
Storm striking the desert sands with lightning to make a glass tornado which ripped the sentinels apart was awesome! And Cyclops was a total badass. These two episodes were literally some of the best batch of Marvel content I have ever experienced. The X-Men are truly BACK!
They brought Alison Sealy-Smith's Storm back after so many years, and in 2 Episodes, got Me to Care that She lost Her Powers & was Leaving. That's how Good this Show is so far.
What happened to storm was devastating. Especially after they got her character so perfect. She was truly a goddess, and when she said "the breeze is gone" i could feel the size of her loss. Like having the best part of your soul removed.
She is my favorite of all, I hope and pray this is setting her story to return to Africa and reclaim her powers where she was born. Give us some history of her birth or becoming a queen and meeting blank panther !
When “Jean” was using Cerebro, the interference had Jean’s eyes and the setting looked very Goblin Queen-esque and Sinister. I think using Cerebro unlocked some real memories within her actually being Madelyn.
These two episodes blew away all my expectations. Cyclops was finally done right! And Storm was the powerful goddess she deserved to be. And Morph!!!! The display of his powers…..perfection!
STORM was fucking DOPE AF!!! She’s so damn powerful!! The way she lead the team, man… fucking great writing for her character. Too bad she’s gone for now.

Cyclops really showed why when the X-Men fight with the avengers he is always matched with cap. So many cap like moves and fighting strategy and battle leadership in these two episodes. It was glorious!!!! Hoping for more.
One of the things I liked in the first episode, and is very subtle is when sometimes you’ll see cyclops his face when they’re talking to him, and he can see right behind the visor, his eyes to show that humanity in him
One of the directors of the show said in an interview they also do the glints of light across his glasses to convey emotion for when you can't see his eyes it's pretty smart.
I'm glad they were able to maintain the style and look of the original series. Also the fact that they are covering what happened in the X-Men comics in the late 90s
Just watched both episodes. What brilliant writing. Damn, pls this kind of emotion back in the MCU. We need a live action X- men ASAP. they're the face of Marvel, a pillar of the entire Edifice.

I think marvel shld establish 4 major pillars- Avengers, FF, X men and spiderman and then all the other characters kinda revolve around these. i personally believe that when we speak of the MCU now we specifically mean Earth - 1999999. I think that universe is a bit too crowded now. Let the FF be introduced to that universe and take leading role. And then at the same time make audiences invested into 2 other parallel universes in a serious manner. Now here is the catch, one would be spiderman and all the characters that are a part of his entire lore, and the other wld be X- men and all the other characters that are an important part of their lore. No avengers in these universes. U might have some overlap of the minor characters which might be common nd might share variants across these 3 universes. And these 3 universes down the line will in some way collide with each other(metaphorically or even literally). or lets say will become aware of each others existence and will realise that their collective fates are intertwined with each other. now I just have one question, can Sony use Miles Morales as a character and his version of spiderman as of now currently? Since u mentioned above that if they have currently liscenced the rights of Spiderman to marvel so they themselves cannot use it. Hope u find this comment interesting wld love to hear your feedback.

As someone who has never seen the original show, I absolutely loved these first two episodes. I’m already so captivated by these characters and their stories and holy shit that ending!!
I hope the writers of this write for the live action xmen content as they truly do seem to understand the dynamics, skills, tone/mood, and overall characters of the xmen.
I love Storm ⛈️ she’s always been my favorite Xmen character I can’t believe how powerful she is my God ⛈️⛈️⛈️ she destroy all this sentinels into pieces god I love her so much
I just love how they are honoring Norm Spencer and David Hemblen continuing that legacy. Ray Chase and Matthew Waterson damn they are incredible as the voices of Cyclops and Magneto. George Buza who voices Beast it's like riding a bike and has not missed a beat. Alison Sealy-Smith again amazing as Storm. Originally it was Iona Morris during season 1 but once Alison took over she made it her own for the character. Cal Dodd and Lenore Zann are just awesome and loving that continuity of Clint Eastwood style personality for Wolverine.
The first 2 episodes were incredible!!! I absolutely loved this season premiere kick-off! I wasn't born in the '90s but my father kept a bunch of VHS tapes with a lot of the old X-Men: The Animated Series episodes on them and I grew up rewatching those same episodes as a kid. The action was fantastic, and I'm really digging the new animation style for the show. I just binged the entire original series, and I gotta say that this is a significant step up in terms of animation quality, of course. All the characters are just as charismatic as they were in the previous series, if not even more so. Hearing some of the classic voices return for their roles in this Revival series is so heartwarming and nostalgic. I'm also really digging the new blood when it comes to the new additions to the voice cast. The new voices for Gambit, Scott Summers, and Jubilee specifically sound really great and worthy successors to the original voice actors. I'm really loving what they're setting up for the overarching story of the season. I can't wait to move on to the next batch of episodes as soon as they release. Everything feels like a significant step up to a lot of the great things from the original show and this is clear proof that the people who worked on the show are true X-Men fans in grew up watching the original animated series. Ultimately, though, this awesome premier batch of episodes really reminded me how much I missed the X-Men as a family. It's been awhile since I really delve into the world of the X-Men like this and honestly I'm glad the show came out to reunite the fire I have for the X-Men that's some of the old fox movies might have dampered a little bit. Marvel's/The MCU's first crack, the X-Men, was done masterfully, in my opinion, and I can't wait to see more! 10/10 Premiere for this show! 🎆✨️🙌
yeah..the only and big edge of magneto is that he can touch rouge and not be absorbed due to magnetic field. while gambit can only touch with rouge through clothes.
Not too crazy. Been calling it since the Goblin Queen figure... swap. Pregnant Jean is/was Madelyn Pryor... does she know it? I dont believe so... Jean at the door is the real one
For Cable being their son thing I can be wrong but I remember there was a scene in the original series Jean read Cable's mind just for a sec and saw her and Scott in his mind before Cable disappeared with a portal. She never talked about it later so idk how much she knows.
Magneto is such a badass and I always loved how he really admires Mutant power calling storm a Goddess and how in the movies he loved Mystique blue skin, it’s something so calming about that
I like that first thing I can remember about magneto in the og show he was breaking beast out of jail and not understanding him going to trial… now we see him willingly do so
Seriously, it is a really great feeling of nostalgia to want to relive a memory from my childhood that marked my entire life. To feel again and return to this epic moment with my classic x-men from the 90s. Already in the modern era, without leaving the very essence of its comics originality.
During the original series run, Jean tried reading Cable's mind. She said to Scott something to the effect of "he is more important to OUR future than you know.. " That's about as far as they went delving into their connection to Cable.

Cyclops was always a boss. I remember Gambit accidently hit max level in the danger room while cyclops was in it. He took on Omega Red, Juggernaut, Mr. Sinister and Apocalypse by himself. The fact he tried even though he eventually fell the most og thing I seen an xmen do in the original series
That's most likely Madelyn cause she is the mother of Nathaniel Summers which means we haven't been following the real Jean for who knows how long and it's making me really wonder when did she get switched out during the original series
Facts. It was hinted in the comics that a sick joke by Sinister was to implant a suggestion in Madelyn to name the baby Nathan after him. I think the switch happened during the “Beyond Good and Evil” story or at the end of “The Phalanx Covenant”. The last one is where you see Sinister running off with his back to the audience at the end. Perhaps he made the switch there and was carrying the real Jean Grey away?
I like that Morph finally gets in the opening credits and gets to be part of the team than just a no body that they took out early. Maybe cause he's in the comics more.
I know right? I am amazed how much effort was put into this. The art style modernized but still accurate to the old and very very fluent animation. Which by itself means that many many drawings have been used, a TON of work.

Rogue and Magneto were in a relationship during Savage Land. She had to choose between Gambit and Magneto. In the future they also have a kid together. His name is Magnus.
@Narutoanime16g there's a lot of kids between Jean and Scott. Except Cable is actually not technically Jean's. Cables real mom is a clone of Jean. Also, interesting fact. Jean and Wolverine have a kid as well. Magnus' debut is Exiles #1. Technically, it's not the same as the earth they are on, so I don't know if they will integrate that arc.
Yes... pregnant Jean is Madelyne Pryor... I dont think she knows it at this point(tho its possible she does and her wantingg to leave is a plot to remove Cyclops from the Xmen equation). Jean at the door is the real one.

She lost her powers the same way in the comics so I can't see which direction they take for her to get her powers back like in the comics. Cyclops is Him!
The X-Men were my introduction to comics, and the animated series was my introduction to the X-Men. They're still the voices I hear in my head whenever I read an X-Men comic. I'm loving this so far.
The dialogue is so good. Man the way they speak about” tolerance”, and Magneto’s speech to the tribunal. What are they gonna do with Storm? We know her powers are gonna come back, but when?

She replaces Scott as the leader of the X-men, just like in the Uncanny X-men from the 80s. Magneto becomes the Head Master and they just introduced Roberto, who is one of the original New Mutants. Emma Frost is also coming back in as the Head Mistress of the rival school for young Mutants called "The Hellions" at the Hellfire Club's Massachusetts Academy.

Finally!!!! A version of Cyclops that shows how bad @$$ he is. They did Storm dirty but man, thst desert battle with her was epic. I’m so glad they went with the Magneto runs the X-men 90s story. Fantastic show so far.

Okay. If they follow through then yeah I’ll sit corrected. But I’m not familiar with a storyline in which she loses her powers. It almost feels like removing one of the most powerful characters for no reason as of now, hence my comment.

Simple, when Marvel takes things seriously and does a good job. I really loved both chapters, especially the second, I think we will all agree that Magneto excelled. Without a doubt it is a series that I will continue to enjoy. 😎
Y’all kept commenting on how good the voice cast is, they brought back the original voice actors from the original show back for this, so it’s the same voice actors.
Cyclops had me cheering out loud. 😅 And, it's a small thing, but I LOVED that the Sentinels acknowledged that Storm was an Omega level threat. ❤ These two episodes make me so excited for the rest!
The theme song got me back to the feels!!! Love how they added Magento in the new intro credits!! Still cheesy 90s dialogue but I gobbled it up haha. Animation is top notch and makes me yearn for when we get the X-Men in the MCU more than ever!! Definitely called it that’s Madelyne Pryor who had the baby unless that’s her who came at the front door. Can’t wait for episode 3
This is following the de-powering of storm (complete with haircut). In the comics it is where storm meets forge who invents a way to re-activate her power. Also with this will we get the Goblin Queen and the Inferno storyline?
What makes this work so well is that they are a family. They live together in the same place, and they're friends. But in the avengers, and other marvel projects, there is no cohesive family, They are all separate, and it becomes stale.
Honestly? These 2 eps were PERFECT. My only gripe is that I can hear the age for Rogue and Wolverine’s actors and that kind of hurt my immersion a little. Not a skill thing, the actors are just as awesome as they ever were, I can just hear the age. A minor thing overall. They NAILED this show so far. The Storm stuff is setting up to be an excellent character study, and Magneto is AMAZING in this. This old millennial is very, VERY happy.
Good to see my man Cyclops getting some respect Put on his name. He was a complete Badass in this episode and it looks like he's getting more attention as the main character.

And then at the same time make audiences invested into 2 other parallel universes in a serious manner. Now here is the catch, one would be spiderman and all the characters that are a part of his entire lore, and the other wld be X- men and all the other characters that are an important part of their lore. No avengers in these universes. U might have some overlap of the minor characters which might be common nd might share variants across these 3 universes. And these 3 universes down the line will in some way collide with each other(metaphorically or even literally). or lets say will become aware of each others existence and will realise that their collective fates are intertwined with each other.
now I just have one question, can Sony use Miles Morales as a character and his version of spiderman as of now currently? Since u mentioned above that if they have currently liscenced the rights of Spiderman to marvel so they themselves cannot use it. Hope u find this comment interesting wld love to hear your feedback.

I just love how they are honoring Norm Spencer and David Hemblen continuing that legacy. Ray Chase and Matthew Waterson damn they are incredible as the voices of Cyclops and Magneto. George Buza who voices Beast it's like riding a bike and has not missed a beat. Alison Sealy-Smith again amazing as Storm. Originally it was Iona Morris during season 1 but once Alison took over she made it her own for the character. Cal Dodd and Lenore Zann are just awesome and loving that continuity of Clint Eastwood style personality for Wolverine.
Facts. They have big shoes to fill and they’re knocking it out the park as Cyclops and Magneto.
The first 2 episodes were incredible!!! I absolutely loved this season premiere kick-off! I wasn't born in the '90s but my father kept a bunch of VHS tapes with a lot of the old X-Men: The Animated Series episodes on them and I grew up rewatching those same episodes as a kid. The action was fantastic, and I'm really digging the new animation style for the show. I just binged the entire original series, and I gotta say that this is a significant step up in terms of animation quality, of course. All the characters are just as charismatic as they were in the previous series, if not even more so. Hearing some of the classic voices return for their roles in this Revival series is so heartwarming and nostalgic. I'm also really digging the new blood when it comes to the new additions to the voice cast. The new voices for Gambit, Scott Summers, and Jubilee specifically sound really great and worthy successors to the original voice actors. I'm really loving what they're setting up for the overarching story of the season. I can't wait to move on to the next batch of episodes as soon as they release. Everything feels like a significant step up to a lot of the great things from the original show and this is clear proof that the people who worked on the show are true X-Men fans in grew up watching the original animated series. Ultimately, though, this awesome premier batch of episodes really reminded me how much I missed the X-Men as a family. It's been awhile since I really delve into the world of the X-Men like this and honestly I'm glad the show came out to reunite the fire I have for the X-Men that's some of the old fox movies might have dampered a little bit. Marvel's/The MCU's first crack, the X-Men, was done masterfully, in my opinion, and I can't wait to see more! 10/10 Premiere for this show! 🎆✨️🙌

For Cable being their son thing I can be wrong but I remember there was a scene in the original series Jean read Cable's mind just for a sec and saw her and Scott in his mind before Cable disappeared with a portal. She never talked about it later so idk how much she knows.

Magneto is such a badass and I always loved how he really admires Mutant power calling storm a Goddess and how in the movies he loved Mystique blue skin, it’s something so calming about that
I like that first thing I can remember about magneto in the og show he was breaking beast out of jail and not understanding him going to trial… now we see him willingly do so
That was such a good callback to him seeing Hank refuse to escape, and insisting on his day in court.
Seriously, it is a really great feeling of nostalgia to want to relive a memory from my childhood that marked my entire life. To feel again and return to this epic moment with my classic x-men from the 90s. Already in the modern era, without leaving the very essence of its comics originality.
During the original series run, Jean tried reading Cable's mind. She said to Scott something to the effect of "he is more important to OUR future than you know.. " That's about as far as they went delving into their connection to Cable.
Episode 2 was amazing. Powers or not, Storm is a badass. Also Cyclops is so hot.

Cyclops was always a boss. I remember Gambit accidently hit max level in the danger room while cyclops was in it. He took on Omega Red, Juggernaut, Mr. Sinister and Apocalypse by himself. The fact he tried even though he eventually fell the most og thing I seen an xmen do in the original series

Facts. It was hinted in the comics that a sick joke by Sinister was to implant a suggestion in Madelyn to name the baby Nathan after him. I think the switch happened during the “Beyond Good and Evil” story or at the end of “The Phalanx Covenant”. The last one is where you see Sinister running off with his back to the audience at the end. Perhaps he made the switch there and was carrying the real Jean Grey away?

I know right? I am amazed how much effort was put into this. The art style modernized but still accurate to the old and very very fluent animation. Which by itself means that many many drawings have been used, a TON of work.

Jean and Wolverine have a kid as well. Magnus' debut is Exiles #1. Technically, it's not the same as the earth they are on, so I don't know if they will integrate that arc.

The X-Men were my introduction to comics, and the animated series was my introduction to the X-Men. They're still the voices I hear in my head whenever I read an X-Men comic. I'm loving this so far.

She replaces Scott as the leader of the X-men, just like in the Uncanny X-men from the 80s. Magneto becomes the Head Master and they just introduced Roberto, who is one of the original New Mutants. Emma Frost is also coming back in as the Head Mistress of the rival school for young Mutants called "The Hellions" at the Hellfire Club's Massachusetts Academy.

This is following the de-powering of storm (complete with haircut). In the comics it is where storm meets forge who invents a way to re-activate her power. Also with this will we get the Goblin Queen and the Inferno storyline?

What makes this work so well is that they are a family. They live together in the same place, and they're friends. But in the avengers, and other marvel projects, there is no cohesive family, They are all separate, and it becomes stale.
Honestly? These 2 eps were PERFECT. My only gripe is that I can hear the age for Rogue and Wolverine’s actors and that kind of hurt my immersion a little. Not a skill thing, the actors are just as awesome as they ever were, I can just hear the age. A minor thing overall. They NAILED this show so far. The Storm stuff is setting up to be an excellent character study, and Magneto is AMAZING in this. This old millennial is very, VERY happy.
