Thanks for the nice reaction to Emma. You mentioned that she should be signed up by Disney for a movie, well its not quite that but 'Disney NL' and MediaLine have signed Emma to do two live 'Disney In Concert' shows in the 17000 seat Ziggo Dome in January 2025, so maybe the first rung for her on that Disney ladder. The live TV broadcast in your reaction was a preview show for all the major shows in the forthcoming musicals season in The Netherlands, including the 'Disney In Concert' shows featuring Emma. There are a couple of endearing features in Emma's performances. Almost always, Emma gives a wry smile as she finishes a song, it kind shows a self satisfaction with her work; its lovely. Also, more recently as she cuts off those long held belted high notes by, I can only describe it as, kicking back her head. Its makes it look very dramatic; its very cool. Another notable point in Emma's schedule for next year just announced, is her first major concert in her own right. Emma will have her own show at the prestigious Royal Concert Hall (Concertgebouw) in Amsterdam on 21st October 2025. Note that the Concertgebouw is considered at the very top of the world's elite concert venues; Mahler, Richard Strauss and Stravinsky have all conducted there. Rachmaninoff, Leonard Bernstein and Ella Fitzgerald have all performed there. Now it's Emma's turn. It is also remarkable that at 5 pm on 25th October, a couple of weeks ago, Emma announced her concert on social media. This was two hours before she was due to appear on Dutch TV on the 'Carrie on Friday' show for an interview, and to sing John Lennon's 'Imagine'. I assume this was partly to promote and kick-start a year of ticket sales leading up to her concert. However, by the time Emma stood up to sing 'Imagine' to close the show at around 7:45 pm the concert was already fully sold out!! For anyone to sell out Amsterdam's 'Concertgebouw' in under 3 hours is amazing, for a 16 year old to do that is absolutely extraordinary. Fortunately, I was at my desk when Emma made her initial announcement, so by 5:15 pm I had already got my tickets. ♥ A strong recommendation for an 'Emma reaction' is Emma's version of John Lennon's 'Imagine' that I mentioned she sang on that 'Carrie On Friday' TV show. Quite honestly it is the best version of the song I have ever heard. There are a couple of links to it on You Tube but in terms of video/audio the one I have given here is the very highest quality version which was posted by the TV company itself; it's sublime: th-cam.com/video/xpAIqyDybhk/w-d-xo.html
Thanks for this comment, this is definitely Emma's style of music if you watch this performance (th-cam.com/video/itxs-aNyRJY/w-d-xo.htmlsi=lNdIMtIiL1yVvr7L ) . Beautifully sung by the princess Emma.
