Catchers are getting soft. Dude came into the path, gets a love bump and starts chirping while runner is offering a mea culpa that in my opinion... He did not have to offer.
I kind of take that back. I have no idea what catcher is saying to the dude. Maybe the rest of his team is stoking the flames. Maybe he's just fired up in competition and saying something like "yeah baby, not in my house." I can respect that if that were the case.
My son got ejected from a Lubbock, TX tournament for this same situation. He didn't try to lay the the catcher out, but catcher flew! Catcher was linebacker from Trinity Christian (Lubbock School). Son from A small town high school near by. But got ejected for contact of catcher. The rules are wierd these days. 🤷♂️
I'm 50 and caught thru high school...that bump was nothing. Imagine a kid today at the dish getting rail roaded...they would probably file a law suit. Take your bump, record the out and go get ready to hit...outside of that shut the hell up.
I don't know about this league / tournament, but I've seen high school baserunners tossed out for less. The rule is the runner must stop or make an attempt to slide to avoid a collision. He put his shoulder down. Ejected.
Why all the hate on TB? What else you gonna play? In my day it was American Legion, and it was travel ball, I mean, we traveled some of the time. If you’re gonna get better you have to play against better comp….where else you gonna get that H.S.? It’s over in May….
Nod to the coaches for real! Instead of instigating and letting that BS fly… both coaches understand they’re coachin kids still… and kids can get emotional over very little…. They settled it down as they should
Heres the best part about all of this, everyone in the comments section here knows that kids....teens especially in this day werent gonna throw a punch....so all of that profiling and chest puffing was for nothing. Usually when my players....and i coach teens... do that i embarrass them and tell them if youre not gonna throw a punch then dont bother leaving the dugout....and most of them just hamg their heads bcuz they know that kids today are soft.....btw i didnt grow up that long ago. Late 80s mostly the 90s.
The lead up to this was that #15 and the Ducks pitcher had words when #15 walked earlier that inning. Then he's the one that bumped the catcher at the plate. Feels things had been building for some reason. Still, it was a non-incident.
Where's the hands-first slide big guy? Afraid to get the uniform dirty? Or bowl him over, make him hold on to the ball. Dont u kids watch Pete Rose clips??!
Yeah what's the Catcher crying about. He back down. I teach my Son you run him Down No Exceptions at that level. Cather. Would have been pan cacked against us. 😢
First of all, "benches clear" is a touch dramatic. Secondly, that catcher is SOFT!!! The runner actually slowed down so as not to have a huge collision. Catchers used to be tough

@@grinanbarreit8242 Yeah I dont think the catcher was particularly mad. Seems like the teammates of catcher tried starting shit lol
@@grinanbarreit8242 It started when the runner was walked and he was talking trash on his way to first base.
@@grinanbarreit8242 makin a post-game date
@grinanbarreit8242 I think you got it right the second time. Man i love me some baseball ⚾️ 🙌
That catcher had to spend the night in intensive care.
The game has changed…Pete Rose would’ve put the catcher on his back…Respect…
No question
Thanks to the Buster Puh-C rule. Ruined the play at the plate.
@@RM-fb6sj 💯
It’s no longer legal or cool to do so
@@slpguy6026 ahh There it is. The soft new generation of "athletes."
Guy in black at home plate even said "my fault."

Hopes and prayers going out to the catcher. That was a nasty collision. I really hope he's okay and he recovers

He was just fired up. Wasn’t mad
The ducks got mad for no reason. Just a baseball play. Ducks started it.
Thank you buster posey

Guy slowed up. Where's the bench clear?
The runner could have really ran over the catcher he held up and bumped him
Runner even apologized. Catcher the catcher is fine 🙄
Just another Sunday afternoon in mixed softball all around Ontario.
Good thing that catcher doesn’t play football he barely got tapped.
When did the benches clear?
I got ran over in college FUCKING RAN OVER. And I didn't act like that softy!!!! LOL
Is that Noah syndegaaerd pushing his teammate back lol
Whatchutalkinbout Willis? That was Hulk Hogan.

Imagine what Pete Rose would of done to that catcher. These kids are so damn soft. Unbelievable
Zack Hample was in attendance.
He caught a foul and was mad when he had to give it back.
So that's what happened to Noah Syndegaard

😂 this "travel ball" has made many mediocre players have delusions of grandeur.
This is weak... Not a big deal. I blame the third base coach, shouldn't have sent him.
what age group was this? u15? u18?
18
No offense #37 doesn’t look 15 lol
Looks like the adults losing their heads per usual.
Umpires did a great job. Why travel baseball is a joke.
how is it a joke? cuz it’s competitive or you just sucked
No it is uncompetitive and prioritizes drip over skill
@@agenthurricane6519 how it uncompetitive if this is where the best kids in the nation come out and play?
@@benji_lolzシ very, the vast majority of these kids won't do jack shit past high school because of their attitudes.
@Benji_MLB besides that os a relative term. Many of these kids are frauds and someone under the radar is MUCH better
