I think in leagues below college level the strike zones vary depending on pitch location and location of batter in the box. You will see alot of pitches 1 or 2 balls off the plate called a strike because they are kids and this is the leagues way of limiting the amount of pitches thrown throughout a game. Just another way to reduce the risk of kids throwing out their arm before the next stage in their career.

Umpire is god awful for the game ….. He sets up inside everytime, never centered, therefore completely incapable of calling outside pitches correctly. Over 20 “strikes” outside were balls and it wasn’t even remotely close to call
Stupid ass take^^^ umpires sit over the shoulder of the catcher in regards to the hitter in the box. If it’s a lefty he stays behind them. You normally don’t tend to foul balls back off your back shoulder. Normally foul them off the other way Argo the safest place for an umpire to set up
I’ll say the zone was pretty wide, even for a high school game. However, an umpire never sets up on the center of the plate. It’s a good way to catch a lot of foul balls to the mask resulting in multiple concussions. Always set up with your nose on the inside corner of the plate and learn how to judge the outside pitch.
Has sportsmanship gone out the window. The Coaches need to be held accountable for letting the kids act like that. I don't care if it's a rivalry game or not. The way Alpharetta act toward the end was classless.

Social media has had a huge impact on sports in this day and age especially high school aged kids ill say it, these kids need to stay humble and keep their mouths shut and just play the game they love. Wow! As a scout and coach I would have been on the road home after the 3rd. How many coaches does each team have? Do they even teach the game? Batters that can’t hit 69mph curves, catchers that can’t block, infielders who can’t field…..My favorites were the guys flipping the bird, the guy who hit a double and grabbed his crotch. But the best was at the end of the game when the player faced the stands an did his body builder poise. Guys in high school need to learn the basics and understand you never know who is watching. Rivalry? What was it 9-8 and how many errors? Pretty sad rivalry. If I was whites coach and did that crap, I would forfeit the next game just to teach the lesson of being humble. Classless!

I’m on the white team and here’s some context: they bullied this kid who used to be on our team but then got in a boating accident and can no longer walk. Because of that, this is why we trash talked and coach didn’t really do anything. I agree that it was very excessive though
