Glad to see Max being interested in the game again and praising the game still. As someone who has played the source material for the past ~5 years I'm very hoping this all goes well this time around. That 1 move where Max says it's a dragon install super around 2min 11, I wonder if it's a health drain from the enemy or something else. Honestly this game should have gotten a chance to shine but so many factors (also no rollback) kind of squashed the game from reaching it's true potential, but now with Rising it's a new lease on life and hopefully won't be squandered.
The devs did say that he will sacrifice his health to deal more damage, which I would assume his dragon install will work in a similar way like Nagoryuki, but (hopefully) you don't lose health too fast.

I've rarely ever played fighting games, i mostly am just fine watching people play these games, but this is one of the few ones that makes me really want to get into it and try to get good at it. I enjoy the art, characters, and animations quite a lot and im willing to learn the mechanical side of it all as long as it is fun. Always loved granblue fantasy. It is sort of like league of legends for me where i really enjoy the characters and the world but none of the games would really grab me to play them.

I find it really funny that despite his popularity, Siegfried is kind of a base-breaking character among the English fanbase. That's due to his Mary Sue-ish nature (one of the biggest memes is the fact that he has solved the plot of an entire event off-screen *multiple times*) and consequently the colossal amount of wank that is unleashed whenever the man appears, as the story constantly has to remind you how cool and strong and handsome and talented and kind Siegfried is. Also some people just dislike Dragon Knights events in general due to their mostly unremarkable writing and the ikemen nature of the group.
Ha, I know very little of Granblu (I've seen the anime's 1st season and that's all) but man, I know the exact type of writing, tropes and expectations that lead to characters like this. I haven't historically been a big fan of the type, but knowing that's what he is I can kinda go in mentally prepared that he will be The Most Special whenever he shows up, that kinda dilutes the pain a little.
@@cptncutleg actually he doesn't really be a main character, he does actually what he always does just like the original poster said, the only time he was a main focus is due to his side event story on the Mobile Version of the game which is coming in a couple of weeks.
Basic summary - he once defeated a dragon that was threatening the kingdom, but got injured enough he only survived by drinking blood from said dragon. That made him even more powerful but he's slowly turning into a ... dragon-ish thing as a consequence. The Magihance "install" is him calling on the blood's power a bit (and it eats his health doing so). The super move is the blood taking over him completely and he only doesn't decapitate the other player because he gets a flashback of the other guys from the Dragon Knights substory series. EDIT: In terms of alt costumes, he'd surely have the visored helmet version he's famous for.
I dont really care too much for fighting games but im in love with the original browser game and them making a fighting style game got me more interested in that genre
The rpg mode is fantastic and has the same weapon system as the mobile game. They will have the story mode from the first game and will be adding to it for this one. Some great boss fights straight out of the mobile like Primal Rosetta and bahamut will the same fantastic music
As a long time granblue fantasy player and fan I'm really glad people are getting into this series. I don't expect people to be interested in a nearly decade old browser mobile gacha game but I love the world and characters and I hope vs rising and relink end up going well and they add a bunch more reps
Agreed there! The world and all its characters is soooo amazing for a gacha game, which you could say for many gachas, but I'd put Granblue at the top even above Genshin. As much as it has pandering, I feel a lot of it has more "class" to its delivery of it, it's not just appeal but a pleasing aesthetic and theme to everything that's more akin to Final Fantasy than anime waifu wars. Makes me happy we're getting a second round for Versus and also hopefully Relink soon. I hope it'll open the door to draw people in and perhaps get us more Granblue stuff.

This is going to be a completely new game, due to the fact that they adding new lobbies, Fall Guys-esque minigames, and rollback netcode to make the online play much smoother.
Played as this guy up to 4 times last week in the free version all I kept thinking about was soul cailibur 😂😂 he's pretty good wanna play more hopefully he'll be playable again soon 😊😊

This is game slower and doesnt have ridiculous mid-air stuff like air dash, double jump etc

Bruh I just got into the gatcha game and it's actually good as far as gatcha games go. Combat is very mind dead lol but it's still fun
