So given the new stage, a new character will most likely be one of the Zodiac characters. Fun fact, they all have numerouse references to SNK characters, my favorite being one of them straight up doing Terry Bogard's Buster Wolf.

This return is going to be GLORIOUS. They know how to do it, guys. We've been telling them what we want or what it should be the first one. So hopes are high right now and thankfully we just have to wait for late 2023
the new characters are a Zodiac General (likely Vikala) and Lucilius. Those are who were being hinted at in the trailer but yeah you only notice if you play the original Gbf
It's dog or monkey but the sheep actually was the one who got the highest score but they could pull an upset and go for the Viera crowd and give us rabbit.
The stage is 100% for a zodiac character, but that could be eight (technically nine since "one" of them is a pair) different characters. My money is on Vikala due to how popular she is, though.
I believe the new character will be showcased or at least announced at the February CyGames Cup. They like to use those to show different things like that usually.
Hmm......... new character at the reveal might be Vikala. Or Anla, the defacto leader of the Zodiacs. Or could just be a coincidence of two things lining up. 1) Usually, we get Zodiac uncaps near the end of this month, and this year, we were supposed to get it for Vikala, but they've pushed it back to next month. Could just be a coincidence because we were already planned on getting uncaps for some collab characters this month. 2) The 2/25 date for the tournament reveal is pretty is close to what we would have gotten if it was a January release, like last week of the month.
I'm glad for how niche this game seems. It keeps getting updates, characters, mechanics. Like I'm always surprised by the amount of support it gets. Absolutely love it
From the stage, there will be a Zodiac on the roster, most probably Kumbhira, however Vikala is the one with the most popularity on the surveys. The Fall Guys thing represents the 4-panel comedy manga full of jokes and silly things, do not take them seriously. They often appear on April Fools jokes, Chibi related things and joke gimmicks like this one.

I played the game when it was a psplus subscription monthly reward. I scored the dragon Ball fighterz at 4/5 and the Granblue versus at 3/5. I played only the campaign but for a player to complete the campaign needs to buy the dlcs so unlock the ability to unlock the level cup at weapons.
I never would have expected Grand blue to basically get a sequel especially before fighterz, I hope Max tries to come back to this after the rollback gets added. I can't wait to get some new characters finally Edit: so the new Lobby, one thing I hate about fighting games these days is there's close to nothing to do, they gave you a story mode, maybe an arcade mode with no endings, and then online. Yeah you still need online to do it obviously but this looks crazy fun and silly
Imma be honest, at no point did I ever have "Fighting Game with Fall Guys sub-mode" on my Bingo Card. It's cool, don't get me wrong, it's just one of those hilariously out of left field things that you would never even consider being a real thing. It'd be like if they shoved Mario into an XCOM style turn based SRPG with some obnoxious mascot characters that nobody actually likes.
I wasn't 100 percent sold on the base game but it did have some charm. Hearing that there will be crossplay, lower chance of slowdown online, AND a new story with the filled roster, I'm interested. I might just redownload the original Granblue just to get used to playing again.
So glad i bought GBVS on november 2022. Been trying it out and the game is awesome. Its a shame i coulndt play with anyone online, but now the game will be populated again. Hope the upgrade is not that expensive!
Granblue is what got me back into fighters since I stopped playing Street Fighter 5 season 1. I was really disappointed that this game didn't have rollback but still had a dedicated community. Glad it's coming back and I'm definitely going to jump back into it. Plus titboxes!!
it definitely looks like they upgraded the effects animations and camera angles to make it way more cooler or maybe that's just trailer magic ((as far as camera is concerned). Cool upgrade. Also fuck yeah the cabinets are back !!

crossplay and rollback was expected. I feel the want for crossplay in GG Strive and the eventual successful implementation of it made the arksys devs pretty adept at adapting that backend work to other games. For newer games, I expect they should be standard now. which tbh is such an awesome thing
i really hope that will revive the game, the serie GB mean a lot for me and i would like to see more people on this game , so excited for the news character and the cross-play, we finally enter an era were all fighting game brcome cross play !
2023 for fighting games is gonna rock, and I'm not into fighting games I haven't been since the PS2 era. But survival horror is also coming back with hopefully Dead Space Remake, I can't say the Collisto Protocol because that really disappointed me
If the add Feather from GBF Max will have his character For those who don't know he's literally GBF Rock Howard and It's not even an exaggeration, he's literally just Rock
Charlotta has this... Leo Whitefang vibe but she *Smol* , with all these shortie arquetypes while being unga bunga, not a 100% Dood character but works while that one character he's maining shows up (Unless yeah, Narumeya being a smol Baiken-ish character)

Been Playing Since Release in 2020 Finally Rollback & Crossplay 🥹
This return is going to be GLORIOUS. They know how to do it, guys. We've been telling them what we want or what it should be the first one. So hopes are high right now and thankfully we just have to wait for late 2023
the new characters are a Zodiac General (likely Vikala) and Lucilius. Those are who were being hinted at in the trailer but yeah you only notice if you play the original Gbf
They took it personal, nice to see along the actual team game
I’m honestly glad it’s getting a second chance at life. I’ve staved off vanilla because of of its issues, chief among them was lack of rollback
It's dog or monkey but the sheep actually was the one who got the highest score but they could pull an upset and go for the Viera crowd and give us rabbit.
for the record, this is a sequel, not an update. every character returns and save data carries over.
Looks so beautiful and clear!
It’s unfortunate that Xbox is still being left in the cold, but at least we got literally everything else we asked for (rollback & cross-play).
@@nyarancia Japanese don't really care about Xbox.
@@nyarancia GVS probably didn't sell well on xbox.
@@nyarancia If there are demands, they will deliver a Xbox version. Cygames do be like that
There are many times the fans voiced their opinion about somethingand Cygames immediately put it in the motion within a hour
@@nyarancia Cygames is a company, they gonna focus on profits
@@nyarancia Thats because they know that majority of anime enjoyers are on Playstation and not Xbox
Again, priority and profits
Heck, I saw a comment here that shitting on Granblue for being anime and claiming to be an Xbox elitist
Very, very happy about this
They even used Bahamut's Raid Theme here...
I am hyped for the game's revival.
The shrine seems the hint for divine general(Zodiac characters) for zodiac popularity I think it's Vicky the Rat Zodiac.
In case of over all popularity that would be Sandalphon.
Arcsys has been going ham for a while and I'm here for it
@2:22 This new stage may foreshadow the presence of Jin.
I can't wait to get some new characters finally
Edit: so the new Lobby, one thing I hate about fighting games these days is there's close to nothing to do, they gave you a story mode, maybe an arcade mode with no endings, and then online.
Isn't it just an update
@@ARISTEODI it's like what rev is to ggxrd.
I'm hoping we'll get Shadowverse characters too. I want to piece people up as vampire Akuma.
Very happy this games getting a revival. Always wanted to give it a try
Rollback and Crossplay are essential to these sorts of games for PC anyway. Glad to see it finally become "launch" priority. We made it.
Brand new game, last update for versus is Jan 26th
Bought this on day 1 and after 2 month i could not find anyone in eu. Glad rollback is there this time
Granblue Fantasy Versus is my favorite modern Arcsys game because of how easy it is to jump into. I am so happy that it's getting another chance
Grandblue fantasy versus was one of a few titles that I get via ps plus essential. And man I like it.
looking forward to the sequel
ArcSys really out here putting rollback in every game 👌
Wait.....does a version of *Blazblue* have it yet? o.o (i mean proper BlazBlue not BBTAG)
@@mikejonesnoreally Oh yeah, Central Fiction got rollback like, last summer bro 👉
@@DragonaxFilms Nice, thanks! :D
Let’s get it! Fighting games on the rise
Granblue is my favorite fighting game, I'M SO EXCITED FOR RISING
Crossplay and Rollback is a FANTASTIC combo
it definitely looks like they upgraded the effects animations and camera angles to make it way more cooler or maybe that's just trailer magic ((as far as camera is concerned). Cool upgrade. Also fuck yeah the cabinets are back !!
I love how Max knows that the Chat is the "Granblue Scientists" granted it will be specific members who will remember the details that will make Granblue a smash hit possibility!
Rise my warriors! It is time!
"DNF Duel is what I wanted Granblue to be." Spoken like a true MvC fan.
i have been waiting...day 1 i got a Metera keychain and styled my fightstick with her colors...only for covid to hit and locals became nonexistent.... I am ready to play again. gran/djeeta and metera were so fun to play with
Max was playing two trailers at the same time, that's why there's a real loud audio behind.
crossplay and rollback was expected. I feel the want for crossplay in GG Strive and the eventual successful implementation of it made the arksys devs pretty adept at adapting that backend work to other games. For newer games, I expect they should be standard now. which tbh is such an awesome thing
This genuinely excites me. I can’t wait to relearn all my zeta combos and take out my day on all the new players who’ve never played fighting games.
i really hope that will revive the game, the serie GB mean a lot for me and i would like to see more people on this game , so excited for the news character and the cross-play, we finally enter an era were all fighting game brcome cross play !
2023 for fighting games is gonna rock, and I'm not into fighting games I haven't been since the PS2 era.
But survival horror is also coming back with hopefully Dead Space Remake, I can't say the Collisto Protocol because that really disappointed me
I’m happy that the game sped up it wifely a bit slow for me to make my main game
If the add Feather from GBF Max will have his character
For those who don't know he's literally GBF Rock Howard and It's not even an exaggeration, he's literally just Rock
Charlotta has this... Leo Whitefang vibe but she *Smol* , with all these shortie arquetypes while being unga bunga, not a 100% Dood character but works while that one character he's maining shows up (Unless yeah, Narumeya being a smol Baiken-ish character)
I wish in this version, Tactical Rush when blocked can be canceled into overdrive, universal overhead, and special/super moves.
Seeing the soul get sucked from Max's face when he got the answer to 6:55 was great
Huh. So that means its one of the Zodiac Generals. I think it's Vajra.
Taking notes from 2K and putting mini games in the lobby
if been considering granblue for a while. if it has rollback and people are playing i will definitely buy it
@♜𝐏𝐢𝐧𝐧𝐞𝐝 𝐛𝐲 Maximilian Dood oh no way! The real and totally not fake max! Bro lemme click on your shady link right away!
Saw GranBlue got rollback and finally bought it. Good stuff ArcSystem Works!
Now I need Under Night to have rollback, and my life will be complete
Same I agree with you
