Ash Ketchum (Japanese: サトシ Satoshi) is the main character of the Pokémon anime from the original series to Pokémon Journeys: The Series. He is also the main character of various manga based on the anime, including The Electric Tale of Pikachu, Ash & Pikachu, and Pocket Monsters Diamond & Pearl.
He is a Pokémon Trainer from Pallet Town whose goal is to become a Pokémon Master. His starter Pokémon was a Pikachu that he received from Professor Oak after arriving late at his laboratory. On his journeys around the Pokémon world, he's been accompanied by a multitude of close friends. In Pokémon the Series: Sun & Moon, he becomes the first Champion of the Alola region's Pokémon League. In Pokémon Journeys: The Series, he becomes the new Monarch of the Pokémon World Coronation Series.
He shares his Japanese name with the creator of the Pokémon franchise, Satoshi Tajiri. His English surname is a pun on the English motto, "Gotta catch 'em all!"

It makes me so sad that Ash will always be our childhood but the next generation may not even know who he is. They’ll grow up with Liko and Roy, and maybe other protagonists to come, but not Ash. Still, I hope he’ll be alive for as long as possible in our memories, because he was my best friend since early childhood.

Truly wholesome for me, It's been 25 years and now Ash's journey has ended , it doesn't feel real tbh , i still remember i started watching Pokemon when i was 6-7 , i wish i could re-experience the feeling of watching all Ash's journey again

This was beautiful. What a wonderful tribute to Ash and his journey! I specifically love (what I think is) the chorus, when you run through the 8 regions and your experiences with them. The scenery was great too. Nice tribute! 💯

I've been trying to think of some way to express how I feel, about the song, about Ash leaving... there's really no words, because even with everything that's coming out to honor Ash and his legacy, it's just not enough to show his impact.
The best I can say is that this song encapsulates part of this feeling, and I think the parallel between you and Ash is great. Your life can be summarized in just a few snapshots, and yet thousands of those snapshots couldn't even scratch the surface of it. And, just as Ash has his fans who will never abandon him, you've collected a similar fanbase, both from myself and many others, who look to you just as Ash's fans do him - as an inspiration. I just hope that unlike Ash, you aren't leaving anytime soon.
Overall, amazing as always, and even if we're turning to a new chapter, I still can't wait to see what's coming next.

This feels like like the spiritual successor to your previous banger, PolyWorlds. The part where you compared your life to the progress of the anime made me realize why people cry at weddings, that was my favorite prt of that chorus, congrats man

The intro really gets me, especially because growing up I was never a kid who was able to have posters, or plushes or the memorabilia stuff, but now as an adult I have personally been able to invest in the stuff right as its coming to an end.
That's bittersweet. But it's never too late to start collecting! Most of these items were in my childhood bedroom and they've moved with me!

Oh my god the set piece at the end where you threw the stick in the air representing not only what Ash did in the Anime as a way to decide where he'd go on his final Journey, but also symbolically representing how you'll never outgrow what made you who you are and no matter what path you'll take you'll never forget your roots. That's such an amazing sentiment as a final shot. Whoever did the editing? Peak work.
I had to pay tribute to Ash's climax! Where We go from here may be different paths but we'll never forget our roots. My brother and I filmed this video and I did the editing myself!

It's kinda hard to listen to this in a good way. It feels like such a good tribute to Ash and seeing not how much he's grown, but how much you've grown. It's hard to not realize how much things change without a good look back. It's really cool to see the evolution of both Ash and you. But for me this is the kind of introspective song I can listen too every once and awhile, so good job making a song that will always make me appreciate Ash and look back on life.

I hadn't really felt the weight of Ash leaving the anime until this. I thought I was prepared and excited for the new anime and protagonists, and I'm definitely still excited, but that weight is starting to hit me. This is a masterpiece.

This is the most beautiful thing i have ever heard it really got me crying
I love this franchise. My abuelita gave me my first gameboy color and pokemon red version. Thus a loving obsession was born. Though Ash's chapter has closed, I smile at my memories and am hopeful that Liko and Roy or any other character that may arise will be as impactful on a new generation as Ash was to me. Cry not that it is over, smile we had it to begin with.

Ash is getting me through my childhood and he’s leaving mid of it. No one really knows how much it’s hitting me. I see all these songs about it and I get emotional. I have only Pokémon Diamond And Pearl to watch, and almost all of the movies 😢. I’m still watching Advanced and Johto League Champions. I have multiple Ash and Pikachu stickers on my cup. I have hats. A poster. The shows. The games. Memories. I “traveled” with Ash for 4 or 3 years. It’s endin so soon. It’s hard to admit that it hurts. He went from top 16 to champion. The theme songs, the intros, the relationships. The times I flipped, got angry, cringed, and was overcome with joy, they are memories to savor.

a couple of hours from now is the first eps of the sv anime and the end of ashs timeline in the anime my first time watching pokemon was when i was 7 and it was pokemon the movie 2000 and now im 19 i have seen every eps of pokemon there is sad to say goodbye to my childhood hopefully he comes back in gen 10 anime

My older sister introduced me to pokemon through the anime, and now that very same sis has a kid and he’s only one rn.
