When tae sings in higher notes there's always that rich honey texture in his voice that holds so much warmth, as if he wants to wrap you and cover your soul with these wonderful emotions, he never fails to heal me with his lovely voice and gives me so much peace! Supposedly V released this on the third anniversary of the passing of his beloved grandmother who did much to raise him as a child. I personally see scenes from all over the world including my hometown of Chicago. Given every one of the scenes is alone combined with the lonely tenor of the song, I think it both is a tribute to his grandmother and showing a reflection of personal experiences he cannot share with her. These symbolize how the child she raised has gone on to maturely experience life. Ultimately V's reflections move backward referencing they came from somewhere. That somewhere in my opinion is the childhood she was so much a part of, though we only have the term winter (aged) bear (source of strength) resting peacefully to indicate the wellspring. I think V painted a tonal poem and though I initially hungered for a second verse I now understand the work as complete. It was meant to be heard with the video not alone so treating as something which can be separated I think would be to miss the point.
Before V released this he played it for Jimin and Jimin said while he was listening to it he fell asleep. It was so soothing. Jimin loves this song. Lol. My bias. I cried thru the whole song first time I heard it. His voice always makes me emotional. 🥰
A signature of Tae's songs is that he always give space to the music. ALWAYS. The video for me is amazing, it represent his view of everything and it has SUCH a nostalgic feel. It's like the flaneur of Baudelaire.

I absolutely love his voice and yes he can hit the high notes, he just doesn’t do it all the time. There are many Theories about the meaning of this song. Visa and a V live with Jimin and JHope it was regarding a movie he watch called About Time, scene where the character asked a woman to marry him while she was falling asleep. I don’t believe he has ever mentioned it was regarding his grandmother passed away. There’s also another theory it was to ARMY, such as the line, “ imagine your face say hello to me that all the bad days they are nothing to me with you.” I am not going to go to deep in regard to theories, I just know that thE emotion that I hear in V’s voice that he does miss someone. Whether it is his grandmother, his family, or ARMY. Will you be reacting to BTS Comeback tomorrow?
