Winter bear resonates with me so much because it reminds me of the passing of my aunt in 2018 who was like my second mother. The way I interrupt Tae walking backwards near the end is as if he's looking back at the fond memories, not wanting to forget them then that expression before he turns & walks forward feels like acceptance of what has happened & being at peace with it. I can say from personal experience, rather than looking at the sadness of what you have lost, be at peace with the wonderful memories you have of that person. 💜

V has been saying several times that his one wish is to meet his grandmother who raised him just once again. (i.e. the recent 동화 interview from weverse) In this self-made MV V is constantly walking backward as if he is going back to the past. And although he asks the bear to sleep happily, he knows that winter bear is bound to wake up someday.. to see him again😢
I remenber tae saying he really miss his grandma sooo bad in a vlive back then.
When I heard the line "Imagine your face say hello to me, then all the bad things are nothing to me" in this song, I got goosebumps and couldn't help crying..

Winter bear resonates with me so much because it reminds me of the passing of my aunt in 2018 who was like my second mother. The way I interrupt Tae walking backwards near the end is as if he's looking back at the fond memories, not wanting to forget them then that expression before he turns & walks forward feels like acceptance of what has happened & being at peace with it. I can say from personal experience, rather than looking at the sadness of what you have lost, be at peace with the wonderful memories you have of that person. 💜
I guess tae hopes and believes his loved one is sleeping happily till the winter bear wakes up and they meet again . Throughout the MV he made himself, It feels like he is stroking his dear memories with her so gently 🙏🏻💜

In the lyrics, Tae asks the “blue parrot” (an extinguished bird) to come fly to see him. You can see him keep walking backward, missing the childhood days when he was with his grandma. As the Bear would hibernate in winter, he asks her to “sleep happily”, accepting the fact that she has to “sleep” for now, but he wants her to wake up someday like the Winter Bear to meet him again 💜🥺
Also, keep in mind his grandmother passed away during the Winter season and his parents gave him the nickname “Baby Bear” ❄️
