What I mean is when you use the selection tool, I wish that ZBrush would automatically select it in a precise way without having to worry about jagged geometry. You need to do added steps for it to transpose cleanly. It's the same with the masking tools, your geometry needs to be higher for it to select cleanly. I am willing to bet they will do an update where we won't have to do the added steps, such as with the new Sculptris Pro sculpting options. So when you sculpt (or mask/select) it just adds geometry.
