Great vid! The hardest part about emotional intelligence for me is reading people on a virtual call. I recently received a comment that I had too much "corporate talk". Any tips on virtual calls?
Hi Adriana! I wanted to know how I would go about landing a job as an entry level PM? I have 0 experience in the industry but I am currently taking GoSkills Courses on PM Basics as well as a PM boot camp.. and learning Jira/Confluence on my own. I am also considering taking your SLAY PM course but want to know if that would be something a beginner like me should pursue to add to my resume?
Hi @Alpha-Scythe23, my SLAY PM course has been built for beginners like you! It will teach and walk you through the entire project process from start to finish so you know exactly how to manage a project. Best of all it is life time access and you also have access to our SLAY Project Management Facebook group where you can ask questions with other Slayers. Once the exam is completed and passed you will also receive a microcredential that you can share. As far as getting into the industry with zero experience, I have 2 videos on just that. Here are the links so you can check them out th-cam.com/video/Emxa5Zstcwo/w-d-xo.html th-cam.com/video/MS55MmbNOA4/w-d-xo.html Wishing you all the best! Cheers.
@@AdrianaGirdler Thank you so much Adriana!! I truly appreciate the insight.. I’m definitely gonna go ahead and check out your videos and complete your course 😄
As a Technical Project Manager for over ten years, I can only speak about United States. Do not waste your time on becoming or starting a career as PM; the job market is poor in 2024 for PM, but you want to take risk and hope the market improves in 2025-2026, do so at your own risk.
