GOPRO EDITS MY GRAVEL RIDE | Gravel route grenzeloos Kempen-Broek

- By mistake I downloaded the edit that GOPRO automatically creates when you upload your footage to the GOPRO platform. I never looked at these edits before, I usually prefer to tinker with my videos myself.

What do you guys think? I kinda like the auto-generated edit GoPro made. And it saves me about 3 hours of editing 😂
Looking good 😊 I haven’t tried this feature as I edit my stuff in CapCut, but if it saves me a lot of time I might try it out! At least for shorter stuff and reels🙂
@@VeloViking Yeah, I was pleasantly surprised actually. I always upload all my files to the GoPro cloud and apparently it then automatically does this. I never really looked at that feature 😅
@@MaartenOverweg Sadly I only got to record an intro for a video of my last gravel event! Racing/riding with the front group does it almost impossible to be a cameraman as well 😏
@@VeloViking Yeah, I don't think racing and filming are a great match...Very hard to do indeed. Maybe try an automatic edit as well? Then at least I can have a look at those images, would be interesting to see I sure.
@@MaartenOverweg My next event will be more like a social ride and not a race (hopefully) together with some mates, for 3 days in stunning nature and I hope to get a lot of footage from this 🙂
Interesting to see what it has done with the footage. Personally, the biggest takeaway I get from this is that however good AI becomes, it will never replace humans completely. Just as an aside, I'm surprised it didn't preserve some of the original audio though. A Maarten Overweg video isn't a Maarten Overage video without a Maarten Overweg commentary. 🙂
@@TheImprobableIronman 😅😂😂 And I was bitching and moaning in this one, so I’ll definitely make my own edit as well. But fun to see what a robot editor did with the footage.
But more importantly, mate: how are you doing? And are you working on a video?
@@MaartenOverweg All good here mate thanks. I have a couple of videos in the works right now. One is an overview of Zwifts 'The Grade' climb and why I think it should be a regular part of any Zwifter's week. The other is about how to make sure you have a good race even when things go bad (like wrecking a wheel in the car park during setup). 😂

Your own edits are definitely much, much better! Although the footage is quite ok, the transitions are a disaster! I also miss your talking 🙂
