    I just started following you and absolutely love your meals. I am an Aldi shopper so this is perfect for me. I also love zucchini ( I could eat it at every meal). I chop or spiralize it and lay it on cookie sheets and freeze. Then I can just bag it and throw in the freezer and only use what I need each time. I also blanch broccoli and shred carrots and follow the same procedure. Saves a lot of prep time. Thank you for these meals as I am new to weight watchers ( 2 weeks).

    Have you tried the Quest protein shake for your creamer? That is 0 points for 3 tablespoons in my coffee and it's delicious. I like the salty caramel.

    those banderita tortillas are great! I love them. I can only find them either online or at Fresh Thyme. I use them for wraps, enchiladas, fajitas and breakfast burritos. They are GREAT!

    You could probably water the hot sauce down and spritz it on the food. Just an idea I LOVE Walden Farms items all delicious and 0 fat, calories and carbs. You did awesome wtg. I'm 50 yrs. old 5 ft 3 in. and I weigh 196.5 this is all new to me. I tried about 8 yrs ago Slim Quick regular strength tablets I was at 205 pounds I was losing weight really fast I got down to 153 pounds I just needed to lose 13 more. NO exercising and NO Side Effects. I kept the weight off for 1 1/2 yrs. but it started to creep back up on me I was in a plateau at 163. I tried the pills again and no such luck for some reason. I would have a 200 calorie breakfast at 7 Am or so, 100 calorie snack around 10PM, then 200-300 calorie lunch 12PM or 1Pm then a 100 snack at around 3 Pm then dinner 300-500 calories then at about 9PM or so 100 calorie snack. So I was around 1200-1300 calories a day. I found Aunt Millie's bread 35 calories a slice, Kraft cheese fat free slices 35 calories I would use butter spray and make a grilled cheese total calories 100 I could have 2 if I wanted but 1 was filling. I'd have popcorn with some butter spray and I just found Parkay Butter spray 0 calories, yogurt, fresh fruit as a snack. So I'm trying again to lose weight but no luck. I was thinking of giving WW a try.

    What if I don't like coffee? Is there a way to remove or cover that flavor? Or something else I can drink to help in am?

      You definitely don't need to drink coffee or anything else if you don't normally. Sometimes I just drink plain water. But like Penny said, you could have tea if you like it.

    I find that weight watchers is low carb. Carbs have many points .

    • @PlanningUsHealthy
      @PlanningUsHealthy  6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I'd say you could make it low carb or low fat, whichever works for you. I've done both. I will spend my points on either carbs or fats. I get 23 points per day plus my 28 weeklies. I've had some days where I'm able to have quite a few carbs because I've added in a lot of zero-point foods. It's common for me to eat a carb at every meal on some days. I think it just depends on how you utilize the points throughout the week.

    Why don't you just count calories it is a lot simpler and more scientific . Yes, eat a healthy diet as well. To me that way you are in control. By the way. I have a BMI of 25

    • @PlanningUsHealthy
      @PlanningUsHealthy  5 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      Yes, absolutely if counting calories works best for you, that's the way to go. I share both points and calories since I have some viewers who track points and some who count calories. It's simply a matter of what works best for each person. 😊

    I've been on WW for 4 years, but that's what I still don't understand. Your coffee was only 40 extra calories but 4 extra points. That seems crazy to me.

    • @PlanningUsHealthy
      @PlanningUsHealthy  6 หลายเดือนก่อน +4

      It's because of the fat in it. Things with fat and carbs tend to have more points. Those weird ones are what I use my weeklies on. I'm that way about olive oil points. As long as my day is everything in moderation and I packed in a bunch of healthy foods, seems crazy that a tablespoon of olive oil in my salad would be 5 points. I think I'm at a point where those higher point options go into my weeklies and it all evens out for me.
