Great looking build. I am going the same route soon. Could you tell my what brand notch you used. Typically i see them with bolt holes on top, and then you have to remove the bed. I like how these are attached and would like to go this direction
Hey! thank you, sir. Good luck with your project. As for the notch brand-- I don't remember specifically. But I bought the kit from Arizona performance trucks. Its a bolt in kit, worked really well.
@@marksanders1942 there isn’t actually… my apolgies. I just very careful cut them out- then welded a flange around the end of them and re fastened them to the inner fenders
Looks good! Not too many people add lowering blocks on the back of squarebodies - most will add longer drop shackles. Any pinion angle problems, such as driveline vibration?
Thank you sir ! I’m pretty happy with it . Haven’t had any driveline problems as of now , but if i get some vibrations i will have to add some wedges .
Thank you sir ! Appreciate you watching . Front 2.5” drop modular spindle from Cpp & 30 drop springs Rear 7” drop flip kit from Arizona performance trucks . With c notch kit
Do those rear wheels have the 5.5” backspace? Also, do you think there is enough space in the rear to put a slightly wider 285/40r20 on that same setup?
I was waiting for a comment like this! I apologies .. i didn’t film any content when i was doing that ! I suppose i could post a short video about the inner fenders, though.
@@KULLYCO Why wait for it if you knew it was coming? 😏 At this point in the Squarebody craze (like 5-6 years in), we've seen the new parts pile a million times. We've seen the actual lowering of these trucks a million times. But what we haven't seen is good, custom-fabbed answers on how to address front tire clearance after they're slammed. (Well, I have, but I'm always eager for fresh takes on it.) And since fab work appears to be your thing (I'm brand new to your channel), I'm completely baffled as to why you wouldn't have shown it?? But yes, please do a video showing your subs what you did. 👍
Yep. I knew about this trick. But I wanted to see how this guy got around it (I'm guessing "panel persuasion") in case I wanted to try that before dropping $120 on a pair of fender wells.@@girfwars9106
@KULLYCO can you give me a price range your might ask for the truck I want to see if is on my ball park of what I would like to spend you don’t have to give a exact number just a price range $00 to $00
It’s so satisfying seeing brand new suspension components 👌🏼
For sure! I 100% agree.
Excellent video - thanks for making it!
Love the sound. What’s under the hood?
Amazing transformation. Great work on getting everything to fit. Looks like a fun ride.
Cheers from Germany

Thanks man- really appreciate it. I enjoyed the project! Pretty happy with it.. especially now, after I drove it a bit! Thanks for watching
That truck is awesome
Thank you sir!! I appreciate it :)
Good video 👍👍

Cool truck. Do you have any issues with front tires hitting anything?
Thank you! Actually no, it has great clearance--But I lifted the front fender wells up about 4 inches.
Is there a video on the wheel tub raising?

Where did you get the rear lowering block. I looked up Arizona performance trucks but can’t seem to find them
@@michaelb4293 it’s called AZ performance
What was the offset for your front and rear rims? Thanks. Looks great!!
Thanks buddy! Stock c10 offsets . It worked in the front because the Cpp drop spindles i used pull the track width in about .5”
Thanks…
Great looking truck.. can you supply me with the part numbers or kit number for the complete front and rear kit.. thanks
Thank you sir ! Appreciate you watching .
Front 2.5” drop modular spindle from Cpp & 30 drop springs
Rear 7” drop flip kit from Arizona performance trucks . With c notch kit
Where you got the stainless brake hoses?
Hey bro. Nice work. Can i ask What offset does your rear wheel have or did you use a spacer?
Do those rear wheels have the 5.5” backspace? Also, do you think there is enough space in the rear to put a slightly wider 285/40r20 on that same setup?
I cant comment on that with certainty- my apologies!
Is this the same drop as the Holley trucks with these wheels on their website ?
Actually no , mine is a bit lower- by about ha half inch i believe.
Hey what is the fender lip to the ground front and rear? Thanks in advance!
That is a great question- I don't know it right off hand might have to get back to you!
What backspacing did you end up going with? Did you have to shorten the axle?
Stock backspacing on rear . No did not have to shorten axle
Hi, It appeared you have long tube headers? Do you have clearance issues?
Its not bad, but if you drop into a driveway quickly they will scrape once and awhile.
Where did you get the rear lowering blocks?
I got my entire rear kit from Arizona Performance Trucks
Hi did you have any clearance issues in the front?
Yes! I actually moved my inner front fenders up about 3”-4” to get good tire clearance
Excuse me but what shock absorbers you used for this transformation
There are a number of shocks you can buy for these trucks after you lower them .
Good content ? By any chance did you cut the driveshaft
Thank you! No sir i didn’t - stock drive shaft length
You didn't film the important/unique parts. ???
Open the hood and show us what you did to the inner fenders to allow tire clearance.

You can look into 73-80 inner fenders as well they had more clearance

It actually isn’t bad ! Headers are a problem once and awhile.. good driver though !
Its a sweet ride!!@@KULLYCO
@@cliffanderson7544 thanks man! I appreciate that :)
If this was someone’s first time they be lost. Good vid but not detailed for newbies.
Would you consider selling it to me?
Well.. I’m certainly not trying to sell it .. but everything is for sale I suppose . I really
Like the truck !
If you ever interested in selling let me know I sure would like to bring that truck back to California San Francisco Bay Area 😃👍🏼
