CPP spindles will narrow your track by 3/4” or you could narrow the control arm. If you buy narrowed arms they will be about the price of your new wheels or you could cut and weld your stock ones. Pics online, not terribly difficult just make sure your welding game is on point or take it to someone to finish weld it all. Good luck.
Good looking truck buddy. My recent mishap was I bought a brand new set of jegs drag stars 15x10s and the front wheel was hitting the control arm and I had to just run my factory rally’s with my new tires. I want those wheels to fit so so bad it hurts my soul so I feel your pain I am gonna figure it out. I’ve got to. I have a 1985 Silverado and a brand new 357sbc fresh th350 with a 3500 stall and a 373 out back.
me and my buddy here are going to lmc to get some parts for his 97 chevy truck! he wants to put a 4200 out of a trailblazer in it! we will put a turbskie on it! glad to see you back doing videos! that freaken c10 looks good with them 18s! i do like those others also!!👍😉🖖
i wish you were alittle closer lmc just right across the state line from me! they are in lenexa ks! hopefully all that craziness has gone down alittle in portland!!
This hurt my wallet watching this 😂 The white wheels and first drop were perfect. Pulling the inner fenders would have been a temp option but the zero turn radius was a problem. Truck is bad ass man. I just picked up a 79 c10 so I’m watching every video on the wheels and stance guys are using. What’s the final drop front and rear? What’s the wheel sizes, tire size and offset of the final setup? Thanks!
Needed this video lol I did a 4/6 drop in my 83 C10 shredded my tires driving home 275/60 had 15s had to use a spacer just to get it home what tire size were on those front 18s you put on
Rally wheels will fit with a spacer or grind down where it rubs. They rub because you are lowered now. What size are the tires on the 20s? I’m lowered 4” in the front and fit tires fine
My heart wasn’t set on the rally wheels enough to make them work. The 20’s were 275/40/20 and I was lowered around 5-6” in front. But truck has been gone a while and I’m still in touch with new owner so I am hoping to do an update video on it this summer. A lot has been done to it!
@@Peymae it’s more about the rubbing. The wheels are super limited on sizes and offsets with 20’s without going totally custom and waiting months which was not an option. I’m sure with a skinnier wheel up front it would have been better. But like I said.. truck is gone.. doesn’t matter anymore
Yup I also open the bins about 85 times too!! It's annoying!! LoL......but came out really great!! I'm having the same issue with 15x8 Rally's. Was trying to see what you did for the fix, but I can't spend that much on wheels right now, but anyways I'll figure something out, Nice truck!!👍🏼👍🏼
I have seen people do some grinding on the lower a-arm. I probably could have tried it but I was flustered at that point and wasn’t thinking straight :)
@@BillyFargon yes sir I’m just young and never worked on a Chevy a day in my life I grew up working on foxbodys w my grandpa and now we’re getting this truck w a brand new 396 and I just don’t know how to Finnish the look off . Any rim suggestions. The first ones I looked at was the classic 5 spoke ones everybody puts the copper cobra gts on but w black like the vision 5s I just don’t know if the lug pattern matches up
@@csfghjt5564 sounds like it’s going to be awesome! What I would recommend is finding a forum online or Facebook group for these c10’s. There are usually lots of threads discussing wheel size and fitment. It depends on how low you want to go, what other mods you may have that will affect wheels, and usually they have pics and specs that should help.
I love the way it turned out. Good looking truck 👍

I could not help but chuckle at the end of this with your "left over inventory" I think it looks good, thanks for the up dates Billy....
Haha I look like a used wheel shop!!

I wonder if tubular a-arms would make it work? If I remember correctly I was hitting the flared stamp portion of the stock arm…
The riddle wheels look good but I would have went with the smoothies. Nice ride 👍🏽!!!
I wanted the white steel wheels real bad but they just wouldn’t work :( needed a different offset and that wasn’t available
Sweet wheels !

That should be interesting! Thank you, it was hard taking the other wheels off but I’m still happy with it overall :)
The white and the black solid wheels aren't my thing. I do like the Rocket? 5 spoke wheels. I like open wheels that show the brakes.

There was some anteeefa action here Friday evening so no stop to the madness! Oh well :/
Way better. Love the wheels

18x8 -4.5 BS & 18x9.5 -5.5 BS
245/45/18 front
275/40/18 rear
@@BillyFargon thanks man
So weird because on my 84 I did drop coils and 2” drop spindles but my 20s still fit just fine
Have ever thought of Slosh Tubz?
I did but, man are those are expensive!!

@@BillyFargon most folks run a 245/45r20 or 245/40r20, no wonder you rubbed lol I’m on 255/45 and rub here and there over certain bumps

Too bad you didn't video the UFO at 5:06 longer than 3 seconds.
You from Oregon? I want to buy those white wheels baby!!!
Yep, Oregon city. They are on marketplace right now :)
My 20” riddlers fit like that
The first set of 20’s I had didn’t work. The fenders were sitting on top of wheels and it wasn’t even fully dropped :/
We got another problem and another and another and well you know

Ya, I know the feeling
Can I get the link to where you ordered those lug nuts please?
I don’t have a link but you can find them on eBay.
Looks 👍 great
Did you do the 4/6 drop?
It was lowered some when I got it so I’m not sure what it was but it’s about 5 in front. Back is whatever you get from a flip kit
What did you do with the white wheels? I would like to buy them
They sold a long time ago. You can get them from Summit Racing though!
One more question, how low did u go in the front?
6-7 inches
What size of wheels are the white ones with tires ? Can u plz let me know.thank u
Wheels were 20x9
Black and chrome 17x8 and 18x9.5 rims for a 85 c10. Any suggestions??
I would say that size should fit :)
