Great job guys! You’ve got a great project going. That’s a really healthy car with a lot of potential. I feel like you’re starting to notice that these were very underrated cars. ;) I’ve had mine for 7 years, and the car still jazzes me. Keep up the great work!
Yes indeed you ARE able to lower it by adjusting the ride hight sensors. I just went spring conversion on mine though and the jumps on the Dyno graph might be from the imrc valves opening up. A lot of people take those out or just zip tie them open. I would love to see a Dyno comparation between with imrc's and without.
For future viewers, pinning tour IMRC DEMOLISHES your 60ft, as does deleting it completely with no other mods, a functioning IMRC WILL MAKE YOU FASTER IN THE QUARTER MILE
I really enjoyed this video, thank you! Your dads smile and burnout at the end was priceless!! Not a paint guy myself but wonder if that paint job could be repaired with just some clear coat attention?
So cool! Watch those Fram oil filters though. The Motorcraft FL820S has an anti-drainback feature that is highly recommended. =) Thanks for the awesome video!!!
The imrc is supposed to open and allow the engine to peak at 5500rpm and kind of steady off by redline. I think you may have a sticky imrc valve or butterflies that have some carbon build up. It is definitely worth some power cleaning them off any how. Still got close to stock power rating though.
Hey guys, where is she now?? I haven’t seen any updates.. I’m a huge fan of your work, & I have 1996 Lincoln Mark so I was following this build, very closely.. keep me posted, if you can.. Thanx🏆💯💯💯
Sold my 98 LSC about 5 years ago. Totally regret it. About 1 year later, looked up the title in the Florida database and it was marked for destruction. Guess it's now tuna cans in some grocery shop isle.
I just purchased a 95 Lincoln Mark VIII about 3 weeks ago. I'm wanting to do a hub swap and get rid of the grandpa wheels, any help would be much appreciated. thanks and keep the project vids coming especially for this car.
If you go on mark 8 muscle you can buy mustang rims with the correct bolt pattern and offset to fit mark 8s with no modification needed. It would save you money on the hub swap.
@@lmsbuilds5140 yeah I later discovered that video later that day lol. I'm considering buying a set of used crome 2004 Terminator Cobra rims & tires for $800 for this project!
The may be true for the orange cans but the ultras are some of the best trouble free filters on the market. Metal end caps, wire backed synthetic media and a efficiency of 99% at 20 microns. I like Wix as well but now that they have been taken over by Mann & Hummel (purolator) we’ll see if their quality suffers.
By far my favorite car on your program so far!!! Nicely done
That torque is pretty much spot on given a 15% drivetrain loss. A good tune should perk it right up to above stock specs.
226 hp and 241 trq at the wheels
What? these have 280

Omg I put a sticker on my '94 Town Car's windshield that said purple people eater. So glad I found this.
I just love your video on the mark, you gave me the direction I needed I have a 93 so thanks from new york.

That's what they made brand spankin new to the wheels. You got a real good one!

Thanks for the tip! We will keep that in mind for the next oil change!
Yes Fram oil filters brand new already have rust in them and are just horrible quality!
OMG adorable idea. I love it.
Glad you like it!
Great video guys, keep em coming, love these cars! We have 4, 😂

I'm deciding whether to buy this Lincoln, a 1998. How is your opinion as an owner? (It truly seems like a fantastic vehicle)
Bro you look like Chris Evans. Nice video.
Appreciate the kind words!
get a tune from lance, also braces from supercoupe performance
Does he have a website

Check out Episode 2 where we swap out the hubs. It's a pretty straight forward process, but you'll need a press.

@@garywinthorp2227 Thank you!
You can also buy a hub re-drill jig.
The spike in the dyno could be when the torque converter locks up
What does locking converter do?
Just bought a 97 LSC 😩
Can you please explain to me exactly how you got them 5x4.5 offset Mustang rims on that car as well as the brakes?

We have a video for that!

No self respecting mechanic uses frame oil filters on any engine they want to keep
Remember...we literally dragged this thing out of a junkyard. Keep that it in mind when assessing our abuse of it!
