    Im from NC, I enjoy all of your content and so far its been very helpful. I started bowling around 1990 with Track Synergy and Tritons, been away for almost 26 years. Now im back and still bowling with track but Iv been having multiple issues either oil patterns, transition, staying consistent, what ball to use, the list goes on. I started back with around 170 games and now 2 months later im back in the 225-235 range so im very happy. I was struggling with the ten pin rap a lot until now this video helped me get a better understanding of what I was doing wrong and how to either fix it or change balls to fix it. Its due to you and others here on TH-cam with all the helpful hints and tips. My hat is off to you all Thank you very much.

    I'll have to watch this a few times before I bowl again. Gave up 180 pins because of 10 pins tonight. Instead of making small adjustments with the right ball, I ended up going through my whole bag and still kept leaving 10s.
    On the bright side, was my second tournament ever, but I finished 5 pins under my last tournament score and each game was within 5 pins of each other.
    So going to practice some more and be ready for the next one.

    This was very helpful. I just bowled a game in league yesterday where I could have had 7 in a row if 4 of them werent 10s. I knew there had to be something I was messing up

    I do not have a lot of hook and slower revs, so I stand on the 12 and my mark is the 10. I'm good at leaving the 10 pin. Is it better to move right and use my same mark or move my eyes?

      The only difference you're going to see is the technology in bowling balls. Go find an equivalent coverstock to what you're used to and go shred some lanes

    This is all good. However, not everyone shoots the same. For me, I'm 70+ and i don't have a high rev rate. I'm more straight & in. I shoot a urethane black widow for all 3, 6,10 pins. I'm about 85% in the spare area on that right corner. Yes, I'm a right hander. I invested in a plastic ball & my spare percentage went down to about 60%, got rid of it and went back to my Black widow urethane.

    My goto fix for repeated pesky 10 pin is to move my feet 5 inches forward. It almost always works for me. That doesn't mean I get a strike, it just means I didn't leave the 10 pin😂😭

  • @anthonygomes3751
    @anthonygomes3751 3 ปีที่แล้ว

    Therefore for a wrapping 10pin (6pin going above the 10pin)...move 1 or 2 board/s to the right and for 6pin going behind the 10pin...just the vice versa. Isnt it? What about moving half foot forward or backward? How to go about with it?

    • @cthebeastyt5107
      @cthebeastyt5107 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      That’s not what I move back or forward for I move back for speed control and stuff side to side and stuff is for more angle or less angle so more the the left you are equals the need for more carry down lane and the more right you are the more you want it to be smooth and less angular

    Pinch, a pinch, a pinch, a pinch, a pinch, a pinch, a pinch, a pinch more. Is a "pinch more" 2 pinches then or 3 pinches?

  • @jvmiller1995

    How many people step forward a 1/2 step when they leave the 10pin? If you are a touch high in the pocket instead of moving left just step forward 6 to 8 inches. If it is hitting a little light then I move back a 6 to 8 inches. I like this because you are not changing the angles you are rolling the ball by going left or right. This works because instead you are getting the ball on the lane a little later when stepping up making the ball a few inches further down the lane before it turns. This does work good most of the time unless you are stopping right at the foul line, then it might make someone go over the line. Let me know if you do this already or if you are going to try it the first time. I would like to hear if this works for others.
    Also my JR Raymond If you could tell me if that makes since to you or If I am crazy to suggest it? Thanks also would like to see a video showcasing making the adjustment with your hand before you release to help get the ten out.

      I use up n back strategy also THEN go side to side. Although I don't move as much as u do, my increments are 3-4 inches

      @Fernando Bueno • May I ask, how often do you have a problem with those pesky 8 pins?

    • @jvmiller1995
      @jvmiller1995 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      You are hitting the pocket flat. To carry a proper strike the ball should split the 8 and 9 pin on the way through the pin deck. So if you are leaving the 8 pin you are hitting light or don't have enough angle on the ball. Unless you have to light of a ball then they can deflect.

    This is just superb, I have been researching "proper technique throwing bowling ball" for a while now, and I think this has helped. Have you heard people talk about - Piylivern Remarkable Predominance - (Have a quick look on google cant remember the place now ) ? It is an awesome exclusive guide for discovering how to up your bowling game quickly without the headache. Ive heard some decent things about it and my mate got amazing results with it.
