This town has such a feeling of peacefulness about it. I like the way it feels rather isolated from things. Of course, I am a bit of an introvert, so that might be why I'm drawn to it.

Very entertaining, thanks Josie and Art(?). Golden- haired woman combing her hair with her golden comb on a mountain-top. Now there's a picture for you!. Actually with your furry hood and your long locks blowing in the wind, you have something of the saga folk about you against that winter background. Good work. Hope you warmed up afterwards !

I absolutely love that they did create a place for artists to come to Iceland and develop their craft. It is a Great Solution. 🎨

I can hear that mountain calling me. I like the idea of these videos, it would be good to see where locals like to go that's not a tourist trap.

Thank you for sharing so much of Iceland. Love the story! And thanks for listing the location across the screen. I’m always curious where you all are and to have the visual allows a reference to look across google maps to where in Iceland this is. ❤️🇮🇸

Sadly I missed it on my last winter trip on the way to Akureyri. I think Iceland got 3+ meters of snow that week. Next trip I’m there!

I am a little confused. I thought the creative arts center was in Blonduos, not Skagaströnd. am I missing something? Hoping to be there at the end of August this year.😁

Blonduos hosts the textile centre / residency. NES artist’s residency is in Skags.

Let' see, I said that Josie-Anne was Beautifull, a very Nice Lady, a lovely human being, an excellent journalist and that we like to see her on future shows, not all the time. Furthermore, my only criticism was about her Cell phone gymbal camera work to which she admits to it on her last video. Again, I have personally nothing against her, she's very lovely and probably a wonderful human being. Nevertheless, I believe is fair that if Valur and Polly are otherwise engage, that we would want to hear from some of the other Womderful people that make the Grapevine such a magical place. The funny and smart Andy Sofia, the super fun Hanna Jane, Sam and his crazy point of view of everything Icelandic, he cracks me up, or the quick wit of Ines. Their individual strength do not take away from Josie Anne performance. I'm sorry but even with Ice Cream, you definitely can take too much. I'm sorry but my opinion is that the Grapevine team will benefit greatly from rotating their talent when Valur and Polly are indisposed. My observation is a lot less about getting Josie Anne out of camera and much more about "Where is everybody else?". Josie Anne should not be offended, she's a serious journalist, not a TH-cam star "Personality". Valur never forgets that, you can read it in his demeanor. It was never my intention to be rude towards Josie Anne and I wish her a Fantastic Journalistic Career. Thank you.....

I wonder if Camel milk is close enough to Horse milk - you can get both the milk, and chocolate bars made with it ..... that might qualify you to meet that third qualification. Give it a try!

to Lacy Oh, many apologies for my abysmal slip-up. I'm mortified. My remarks were directed at Reykjavic Grape! All I can say is that my bifocals make reading computer screens difficult at times. particularly when I'm tired I do check and re-check any comments I offer, though not carefully enough in this instance... I.ll be extra careful in future.

OMG!!!!, Josie-Anne again????, Where's Andy Sofia and Hanna Jane?, we miss them terribly. They are truly Fun and fiercely smart. We watch to see a true Icelander struggle to explain their Wonderful country in broken english. You have a universe of Wonderful talent like Andy Sofia, Hanna Jane, Sam and Ines that have done an incredible job in the past, but you insist on putting Josie Ann forward, time and again. I'm sure Josie Anne is a lovely human being but if I wanted to struggle to understand Scottish, I would go to "The Scottish Grapevine", I can't understand why you choose her to fill in for the amazingly talented, if not mysterious, Art, when she can't even operate a simple Cell Phone gymball stick, let alone the clearly fluctuating editing quality as of late. Let's just say, as beautiful as Josie Ann is, a little of her, goes a long way, we respectfully suggest she stick to jounalism, I'm sure she's excellent at it. Please take full advantage of the talent that you have, it will lead you to new heights of success. Of course Valur and Polly are the gold standard that we can't get enough of them and we feel that our membership is well worth it, as long as they are there. By the way, let me suggest again that bringing Poppy Askham, even for a zoom show about England's Covid situation, with Valur, would be a fantastic piece of programming. We saw her grow into a confident, professional, journalist and enjoy her past videos immensely, even though they are clearly dated. I'll be worth our membership. Thank you....

There is No Reason for you to be so Rude and Unkind! Josie is a great host and has done a Wonderful job. She is part of the The Grapevine team and does a lot of work to help put together everything we view on their TH-cam Channel. She is Friendly and kind and always professional.
Our membership is a privilege and does Not give you permission to be cruel.
