- Hello I am Isaac and my partner @LeaveHerWild and I built this bus so we could have a home for our brand new baby girl Ember.
Our bus is a 1998 Blue Bird Flat Nose 29ft Bumper to Bumper.
We have a 5.9 Cummins 12 valve motor and Allison MD3060 Transmission

You couldn't' build a stick built house for what you put into that bus. It is still large but has the advantage of being mobile! It has turned out beautifully.

With the price of wood now you sure couldn't. Heck with their land don't think for a second I wouldn't park it right on to it if I ever decided I no longer wanted to travel.

I admire you two. Spending your time with your daughter is soooo valuable. I worked with at risk children. From 6 months to 18 of age. From juvenile probation home supervision to special needs. Working on behavior matters. A total of 30+ years. I am convinced through my work that children who spend most of the day with their functional parents, become the most productive and valuable citizens in a community. I have been watching you now for over 2 yrs and have enjoyed every video that you both have done. The 2 of you put your love and your hole heat and soul along with your blood, sweat and tears into that bus for your daughter and selves to have a place to call home and a roof over you heads and it's all paid off and it's all yours to go just about any where your heart takes you. Enjoy your life with your daughter every minute of the day. And le you said you can't do that if you have a 9 to 5 job. And this way to Ember can see the world as she gets older and you can teach her just about everything that she will learn in school. Like taking her to mount Rushmore and all the other National parks and historical parks in the United States. But that is a long way off for that right now. For now the 3 of you just need to get to know each other and and learn what that lil girl is going to be teaching the 2 of you as she gets older and starts talking and asking questions about a lot of things. I think your choices for building, for raising your child, for earning funds and savings- and now for traveling- fantastic. I am 78 yo and made choices a long time ago that I wanted to be around the 🎉kids , so I made choices and did what I wanted. I worked from home until there was no high school any more. We had no option for homeschooling then. I took all the kids Friday after school until z Sunday night to the sailboat (my bus). It worked for us. I was raised in a 1955 Airstream and got to travel as a youngster. Fantastic adventure. So I appreciate your choices. Love❤

I can't express it to you in so many words. But just a few words...ok.....? It's absolutely beautiful, stunning, full of life. But most important is the quality, care and time that you used when building hmmm " bones"? 😊 You made sure that everything was built with precision results. Not rushed, but done correctly and carefully. The better quality of things like stove/oven, refrigerator, heaters, fans, well you get the picture. And mostly the time and consideration when building Ember's area. Kudos to that for sure!!!!! 👍👍. I just have to mention this. Isaac you are, how can I say it, an amazing spokesperson for the knowledge of building a bus conversion into a home!!!! You are 100% confident in the security of the products you selected plus the ability in their performance. Your personality shines through.... for sure.... Your bus is beautiful! I love the white and natural feel. It's airy and homey. That's how I designed the interior of my 12x34 cabin loft style she shed. Although I took out the back loft because I like the high ceiling. My shed came with the porch which is the loft in the interior at the entrance and enough storage when needed.
A shed sounds like a fun build!

Loved the tour. Turned out great. If it was me I'd start out like Jaleena did with a van. Yes she got crowded, but she learned and also had a good time.
Thank you for sharing your bus life with us. It is a very well organized, well built home and I love the decor, especially the light color wood accents and the macrame. Did you make those pieces yourself? Your cats seem happy with the environment, too, which is important for me because I have two cats and a dog who will be living with us on our bus when we can build it. Isaac, keep adding those "Pendleton" touches here and there. They really pop out and go nicely with Jaylena's macrame accents. I love the blending of "girly" stuff ('cause you live with two girls as you said) with the solid structural designs you chose together. Enjoy your next adventure out on the road. I spent a year or so on the road with my husband living in the sleeper of at 1996 Peterbilt 379. I learned to downsize quickly. Y'all seem to have narrowed that down pretty well, but looks like Ember has everything she needs to grow and learn from two loving, kind parents.

I love, love your bus the only thing I would do differently is have the wood fire on an angle with the front facing the walkway rather than the couch. You both did a great job of creating your home. Thank you for posting.
