Here, in the undergrowth, after patient waiting, we see the the Hybrid Gym. Also know by the locals as The "Barefoot Burpees". Perfectly happy in this environment, the Hybrid performs his morning movements, possibly thought to attract a mate, possibly a way to surprise potential food sources. Athletic and playful the Hybrid performs movements many other humans have long forgotten...Here we see him on the rings, demonstrating to the other woodland creatures how best to escape potential predators such as snakes and aggressive hedgehogs...A passing squirrel takes note...as does a local gentleman in a long raincoat...
Excellent story Duncan! That squirrel gets fed most sessions these days, I'm not sure how he recognises me but he does, and knows i keep a bag of walnuts. Next time i think ill try my off-road trainers to get more grip, its hard to get a burst of speed on wet grass barefoot!
@@HybridGym Yes, even trainers can be tricky on wet grass but certainly better than bare feet. Hey our new gym has rings! but they are hanging at about chest/waist height? Does that make sense or of use?
@@duncanwalshfitnessweightlo9329the only thing training at the park sometimes attracts is drunks, it doesn't impress prey or mates! Rings at chest height.... Dips, high rows, L sit pulls, 'iron cross', as long as theres the room around them theres a lot of options?
4:13 wow look a that!! a cousin of Jivecat strolling by :D and everything is so green and lovely....we also had 28 C yesterday...haha this shot with the squirrel stole the show.
Yes I have a bag of walnuts a little expired so thought a squirrel might like them... So over a few weeks, he's got trained to see me as 'mr nut', not sure what I'll do when the nuts run out, I'll have an angry squirrel, should have thought about that....
@@reverendterminator he's probably King of the Squirrels in the park now he's had so much good food 😀 but looks no different yet, maybe he'll have to cut eventually 😁
