  • Osaki, Tokyo, is known for having lots of towers that are occupied by offices and residential units. A few weeks ago, we explored the area and in this vlog, we're giving you a glimpse of their biggest towers - Art Village, Osaki New City, Gate City Ohsaki and Think Park Tower.
Our interesting finds -- walking along Meguro River (just behind Art Village Tower) and learning about Onari Bridge's roots; an art museum inside Osaki New City (one exhibit features artworks using dried seaweed / nori!); a picturesque al fresco garden area on the 4F of Gate City Ohsaki; a very friendly cat just outside Irugi Shrine close to Think Park and Pikachu + Doraemon statues lying side by side outside the main hall of the shrine.
We hope you enjoy watching while learning a bit about what Osaki was back in the shogun days.

We have three earlier vlogs, all about Shinagawa station.
The next vlog will focus on Gotanda station.
Our channel hopes to promote Japanese tourism, along with featuring its known / unknown places, interesting food, shops, people, and so on. In our first series, we're featuring all the stations along Yamanote Line, which will take about a few months.

Yes, and it's good to see that even if Tokyo as we all know is so modern, it still strives to maintain its traditional side like preserving its shrines and temples.

Yes, there's a reason, Pierre0124 -- whether to dine, relax at the garden deck of Gate City Ohsaki, visit the Art Museum inside New City Osaki, Irugi shrine or see the friendly cats outside it.

We're glad you like them. We were also surprised to see them, especially the artworks made of dried seaweed.
