Bhai you are the only creator to upload GENUINELY needed topic for international students...while others are busy in misguiding students by making negative videos about canada only for few views.Keep uploading thses type of information videos bro
Real business no bullshit no mustang no show offs i like the simplicity of ur vlogs. Thanks for sharing insights appreciate ppl like you on youtube specially when a person is planning to study and immigrate as a responsible mature being ❤
Very informative for newcomers. I’ve heard so many people say you need to carry a balance in order to build a credit history. Anyone who says that doesn’t know what they’re talking about and don’t take financial advice from them.
I agree with ur pts of auto pay. In my opinion, we should keep even credit card bills and monthly rent on auto-pay because those also should not be missed. However, we should keep checking regularly what transactions and inquiries are done
Piyush beta aap pehle bande ho Jo sab kuchch positive se batatey ho otherwise all r says negative They sapred negativity for Canada now All the best 👍👍🎉
Hey! I was researching and trying to read about credit systems/cards and came across your credit score video. This video acted as a major eyeopener for me, and shocked me on how small actions can wreck credit score, and impact life in the long run. As someone who has almost zero knowledge/usage of credit card I feel like I hate this credit history system, but as the saying goes, "Don't blame the system, Instead play the system and excel it." I remember a famous Bollywood movie dialogue, " Swipe karo, Aish Karo!" That was such a stupid lesson lol.
Thank you so much!!! Just yesterday I check my credit twice in two different places to buy a new phone but they declined as I am not employed yet and my credit score is minimum. Thnak you for the precious information.
Good morning Piyush.... Could you please tell me best credit card for international students like I heard cibc dividend is good but there is also highest cash back wala Neo card.... Please help as I have cibc appointment in 3 days ! Have a great day
Great video!! Unique and detailed! I didn't know that the TYPE of credit accounts I have mattered too. I thought only paying my phone bill and credit card bill on time (early) is enough. Thanks for the info!
very informative video @piyushmrewal, i dont even know about the credit score and how all the measures we have to take. It really help me shaping the credit score of mine.
my credit score today is +700 all credit goes to you piyush vai agar me apko india se follow ni krta apko points ko consider krke unko abide ni krta to ye kabi ni ho pate. thank you so so much piyush vai to put out content that actually helps people like us rather than posting bs like dark reality and stuff which rather got you more views and numbers. I really admire your dedication towards the quality of your content. you inspire me a lot piyush vaii :))
I hope you reply to this comment. I never missed a payment, used under 35%, used for different transactions, one credit inquiry, not able to take my score over 740
very good bro may be u forgot but i watch ur vedios before i was in dubai now i am in bc kelowna last 2 months i really follow ur advise even for single sim cards thanks ablot for make my life easy bro keep it up❤❤
but i have 1 question if i use credit card 30% and but i pay off before genrate statement and i think paid more 6$ so my balance shows -6$ so its effect good or bad?
Piyush bhai, your videos are amazing truly, you have actually explained every aspect. I just have one question , Let’s say I have 3 domestic bank credit cards and I have been using that for past 2 years. Now if I am coming to Canada for some time, should I close and surrender those credit cards ? Or should I keep as it is ? If I close and surrender it, shall I close all 3 or only 1/2 of it ? Also, This credit score that I have built for past 2 years, will that be counted in Canada ?
Ideally it should be 10% credit utilisation if you want a boost. I have a decent combined credit limit but ive only seen the score go up when its under 10% usage. NOT financial advise, only observation
My son just moved to toronto for studies & I am always worried about him but your videos gives me strength.... I watched your videos from last 3 months and its very helpful 😊
Brother!! Please dedicate a content for bringing family members of foreign workers (closed work permit). In my case I got my wife and 2 kids. Note: i am yet to enter Canada and got stamped visa. So, do i need to enter to start processing for them..
Thanks again! Can see the passionate finance bug in you.😂 Question - 1. Can having 2-3 credit cards impact the score negatively? 2. The free credit checks that you've mentioned on the website...does it impact the score in anyway? Thanks Piyush.
Bro as u said in the video, i was unaware about that walmart’s mastercard, one of the associate’s came to me and asked me to apply for the same ; i got that credit card one month ago but haven’t activated it yet and now when i checked my recent credit history my credit score dropped by 30 points . Now what should i do with that walmart’s card? Should i close it or leave it inactive?
Phone bill ka alwa or kon sa payment kr sakta ha jiska sath credit score increase ho Room rent ka toh possible nhi hq koi uska price hi bahoot zadda ha or credit card ki limit hi 30percent ha Any other bill which relates to increase credit score ???
Such an informative video. Thank you for making such amazing videos and helping people like us who are newcomers or will be coming in few month(s). Loved the video. 🙂 But my 1 question: In India while getting loans or things like Phone, Cars etc etc, we have options like SOFT ENQUIRY & HARD ENQUIRY. Soft enquiry which does not reflect your score, and hard enquiry is where it gets checked and your credit score gets impact. DONT WE HAVE THING LIKE THAT IN CANADA? Eager to know. And Piyush bro, again One request from a long time: PASSPORT RENEWAL FOR PGWP RENEWAL Video. PLEASE DO MAKE !! EAGERLY WAITING FOR THAT. When can we expect that video? Hope you'll revert for both the questions.
Hi, as you told you are in finance field so how much average finance or accounting person make annually if he has professional qualification like CMA, ACCA, or after completed CPA canada. Secondly, How much current average monthly expenses. Thanks in advance
While opening gic account..my account show i already have credit card and I didn't got student credit card from Scotia and this thing still not fix it i tried everything.....what is the fast way to remove that thing ....?? Any suggestions
Bhai canada ate hi 2000$ ka credit card mila tha , 1 saal hogya 1920 khrch kr beth jata hoon 😂, pta sab hai ki galat hai lekin khrche ho jate hai ik do baar pura bhi pay kiya phir bhi next month gadi track pe ni ati ,
Please make video how to remove unwanted credit accounts on your credit card i mean like mismatch information with soemone. It will help thousands of people its request from me . Thanks
Where can i get more information on using reward points or points by using my credit card for transactions? also does using rewards points to get something affects my credit score or my credit history?
There’s hard credit checks and soft credit checks. Hard checks can temporarily lower your score but if you’re paying your bills on time then it rises again soon enough.
Bro as you said , you had paid your tuition fees through credit card , how much is your credit card limit and what is mandatory amount to pay fee every month
I want to ask that if I am coming to canada , and i have hdfc good cr card and my cr history is good here actually excellent. Will that be taken into consideration by the banks of canada before issuing their cr card to me WILL my indian cr score make any difference in creating better credit history in CANADA ?
Hii Bro,, I have one question,,I have visited walmart and one lady did the same thing..She took my personal information and after someday i got walmart credit card. I have not used it even I don’t have start that credit card and it is as it is. Can you please let me know what should I do and will it affect my score in future,?!
You are also in BC so you also know MSP, Many students don’t pay so it also affects their credit score, if yes then how much, like how many missing monthly payments affect our score
Hello Piyush, Thanks for sharing such a detailed information. I am confused between Neo CC and PC financial CC, could you please let me know which one is better and also could you please share your reference link, thanks.
Normally I've enough money in debit card to purchase but my bank deducts charges on the base of number of transactions. Therefore I usually use credit card, and mostly its usages increase to 50%. What can i do to resolve this? Cash payment is an option but not secured.
bro mera credit report information incorrect hai. ma abhi abhi canada aya hu aur mera credit bureau ki information kisi aur ke naap pr show ho rhi hai. ab iska kya solution hai?
Is there any mean to transfer credit cards to Canada from India. I have above 860 credit score and would like to know any way to get this history transferred.
Landlord can send your unpaid rent to collector agency. This will ruin your credit score fast. The same with utility bills, if you owe utilities under your name.
First of all, your utilization should be under 30% not 35%. Also, you can use more than 30% of your credit limit as long as it you pay the difference as soon as possible. Example: $1000 Credit Limit, you do a $500 transaction and pay the $200 difference (from 30%) the same day or within 1-2 days. The utlisation rate gets updated to the bureaus within 3-4 days from the transaction. So you can transact, and pay the utilisation difference by then.
Read here Transunion official says 35% www.transunion.ca/credit-score But I am sure you’re right as well. 30% is the sweet spot. Also yes you’re right about using more than 30%, for the purpose of this video I didn’t wanna make it more complex by introducing reporting date and billing period. As long as usage is below 30% before/on the reporting date, you can use as much as you like. A little advanced concept.
I was actually looking for this information in the video. I want to purchase a laptop that costs around 800 with a credit card with a 1000 credit limit. Thank you.
@dharmikprajapati6800 what you can do is oay for it with your CC. And then immediately pay $500 down on the card so it doesn’t get billed. That way you still stay under $300 / 30% utilization.
Also, an information for the people who have High Limit Credit Card or people who can lower their dependancy on credit cards. If you stay under 10% Utilization Rate, you can increase your credit score much faster. This is not mandatory, but this effectively helps much faster in increasing the credit score.
I just pay my entire bill before the due date every month. I’ve never worried about % utilization too much. Sometimes you have large purchases or expenses. My score is 870. Choose a good card that gives you cash back or points. I use my points to upgrade to business class when I travel.

Can I check my credit score weekly or monthly?
✨Best knowledge videos for international Students ✨
Piyush bhai aapne kaun se domain me MBA kri hai....???
Bro how can we check our credit score/ how to check it for free once in a month?
Let’s say I made a transaction through CC and paid it off immediately on same day or next day. Does that impact the score negatively?
If you don’t let your bill generate. Then technically your usage is 0%. Let a bill generate of 10-30% of your total limit then pay it off in FULL.
