    Very informative for newcomers. I’ve heard so many people say you need to carry a balance in order to build a credit history. Anyone who says that doesn’t know what they’re talking about and don’t take financial advice from them.

    I agree with ur pts of auto pay. In my opinion, we should keep even credit card bills and monthly rent on auto-pay because those also should not be missed. However, we should keep checking regularly what transactions and inquiries are done

    Hey! I was researching and trying to read about credit systems/cards and came across your credit score video. This video acted as a major eyeopener for me, and shocked me on how small actions can wreck credit score, and impact life in the long run. As someone who has almost zero knowledge/usage of credit card I feel like I hate this credit history system, but as the saying goes, "Don't blame the system, Instead play the system and excel it." I remember a famous Bollywood movie dialogue, " Swipe karo, Aish Karo!" That was such a stupid lesson lol.

    Piyush bhai, your videos are amazing truly, you have actually explained every aspect.
    I just have one question ,
    Let’s say I have 3 domestic bank credit cards and I have been using that for past 2 years.
    Now if I am coming to Canada for some time, should I close and surrender those credit cards ? Or should I keep as it is ?
    If I close and surrender it, shall I close all 3 or only 1/2 of it ?
    Also, This credit score that I have built for past 2 years, will that be counted in Canada ?

  • @uditmaini8359

    Ideally it should be 10% credit utilisation if you want a boost. I have a decent combined credit limit but ive only seen the score go up when its under 10% usage. NOT financial advise, only observation

    1. Can having 2-3 credit cards impact the score negatively?

    Thanks Piyush.

    Such an informative video. Thank you for making such amazing videos and helping people like us who are newcomers or will be coming in few month(s). Loved the video. 🙂
    But my 1 question: In India while getting loans or things like Phone, Cars etc etc, we have options like SOFT ENQUIRY & HARD ENQUIRY. Soft enquiry which does not reflect your score, and hard enquiry is where it gets checked and your credit score gets impact. DONT WE HAVE THING LIKE THAT IN CANADA?
    Eager to know.
    And Piyush bro, again One request from a long time: PASSPORT RENEWAL FOR PGWP RENEWAL Video. PLEASE DO MAKE !! EAGERLY WAITING FOR THAT. When can we expect that video?
    Hope you'll revert for both the questions.

    Heya brother!!! I wanna ask you about the scope of digital marketing in Canada?!!

  • @InfinitiMindAI
    @InfinitiMindAI ปีที่แล้ว

    First of all, your utilization should be under 30% not 35%. Also, you can use more than 30% of your credit limit as long as it you pay the difference as soon as possible.
    Example: $1000 Credit Limit, you do a $500 transaction and pay the $200 difference (from 30%) the same day or within 1-2 days. The utlisation rate gets updated to the bureaus within 3-4 days from the transaction. So you can transact, and pay the utilisation difference by then.

    • @PiyushCanada
      @PiyushCanada  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Read here Transunion official says 35%
      www.transunion.ca/credit-score
      But I am sure you’re right as well. 30% is the sweet spot.
      Also yes you’re right about using more than 30%, for the purpose of this video I didn’t wanna make it more complex by introducing reporting date and billing period.
      As long as usage is below 30% before/on the reporting date, you can use as much as you like. A little advanced concept.

    • @dharmikprajapati6800
      @dharmikprajapati6800 ปีที่แล้ว

      I was actually looking for this information in the video. I want to purchase a laptop that costs around 800 with a credit card with a 1000 credit limit. Thank you.

    • @PiyushCanada
      @PiyushCanada  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @dharmikprajapati6800 what you can do is oay for it with your CC. And then immediately pay $500 down on the card so it doesn’t get billed. That way you still stay under $300 / 30% utilization.

    • @InfinitiMindAI
      @InfinitiMindAI ปีที่แล้ว

      Also, an information for the people who have High Limit Credit Card or people who can lower their dependancy on credit cards. If you stay under 10% Utilization Rate, you can increase your credit score much faster. This is not mandatory, but this effectively helps much faster in increasing the credit score.
